Had a great time at Graze and the waiting staff were fab!
As always, excellent food and service
I booked a table for 10 people at Graze last Saturday 6th December. This was a special birthday meal for my husband. The waiter who I believe was the manager was asking all 10 of us what we enacted to drink. I believe that he was memorising this as he was not writing the drinks down. He repeatedly asked people what they wanted. My step son replied at couple of times and then the waiter told him to shut up. I was not hearing what the waiter said nor was I there at that point at the table. I was only told the story to my horror! Immediately this caused ill feeling and no-one really wanted to stay for the meal, but I convinced everyone that we will have a new waiter which we did and that was that. There was 10 of us and would have been difficult to find somewhere else at such short notice. My step sone refused again to eat anything and was seriously annoyed. Eventually he agreed to a burger. The food was sub-standard. I ordered along with other friends the rib eye steak. The chips that cam with it were disgusting. Basically, I ended up just having a lump of fatty steak and that was my dinner, and so did several friends. The cook in the kitchen seemed to have let the chips go cold, the decided to re-vamp them in the fryer. All the fat oozed in to the chips. The chips were brown in colour, hollow in the middle apart from the oozing fat that ran out of them in your mouth. The taste of 'Old' chip fat. There was not even potato in some of them. The meal was very disappointing and everyone felt the same. I asked my husband did he like it? He said it was SXXT. He had the just lump of steak to. This was an expensive dish, to be honest, we just wanted to get out there in the end. We felt extremely disappointed as everyones meal was bad. I cannot believe there is a chef in that kitchen. And I cant believe a manager would tell a customer to 'Shut Up' Who would want to stay and eat? There was a verbal apology off the other waiter but still not even a free meal or drink was offered. We paid £279.00 and to be honest the food was shocking. Something that I would expect from a greasy food van at a market. Not happy at all as this ruined the night. We went to San Carlo's in Bristol the following night and the service and food was excellent. Maybe you should try to go there to see the standards and take heed.
Amazing food but attended on a busy night and had to wait an hour for food
We had a fantastic time at Graze for our Christmas party. The team were fantastic in helping us to organize the event in the lead up which made things run really smoothly on the night. We had the venue booked exclusively for us and Antonio was really helpful in getting everything set up for us. During the evening the staff were very attentive and professional. We had great service and the whole company were very impressed. Food was excellent as expected from Graze. Thanks for all your efforts
As we has booked the Christmas menu it would have been nice to have the table look more Christmassy, perhaps with crackers?
Poor food selection , a number of main courses not available , and not a great choice on the menu
Me and my partner brought our parents for a family meal and rated it all very highly. My steak was perfectly cooked and the sides were very tasty - smiles all round.
We were a table of 12 so were asked to pre-order. This meant that we could sit down with a drink and chat with the food all being sorted. We didn't feel rushed in the slightest as we were left chatting for a bit before the starters were brought out. The waitresses were brilliant at keeping the drinks flowing. The food was lovely with some fantastic flavours. All in all a very successful night out.
What a great place to spend a lunch hour. Food was great as was the wine.
The food was very good but very expensive for a Sunday evening. I had a very nice grilled hake but at £15 with no sides! I don't think we will be coming again. We are big fans of the Bath Ales brand but I think you are pushing your prices to high.
Food and service were excellent.
Warm Greeting Fabulous, attentive Bar Staff (who know & care)how to serve not only your famous ales, but also other drinks in professional manner - perfect presentation - makes happy drinkers. Delightful, efficient Waitress Service - truly nothing was too much trouble for young lady whose name we believe began with an 'F' - & sounded French!! who made our little impromptu birthday party go with a swing. Please convey our thanks to all Staff (included clever people in Kitchen) - great team - who all appeared to enjoy working at Graze & most of all enjoyed working together.
Fantastic service, helpful and friendly. Amazing food. We really enjoyed our evening. Thankyou
Wonderful meal and excellent service , great atmosphere
An enjoyable night out with great service and banter from our waitress.
Four of us asked for sirloin steak, 2 medium, 2 medium rare and all 4 came out mostly black on the outside, chewy on the inside and fatty round the edge. Tasty enough but nothing special, especially at that price. The waiter had to ask someone else what something on the menu, twice. And less significantly, it was a friend's birthday and we asked for 'Happy Birthday' to be sung but it didn't happen.
Fantastic meal and service
We chose Graze for a celebratory meal and our experience lived up to all of our expectations. The service was exemplary, friendly and knowledgeable but not over-bearing. I recommend the Chateau Brionde with the Paris sauce - stunning.
Unmemorable evening with indifferent food.
Slightly expensive menu at first sight but about right for value for money as the food was very good. Service came with a smile from both waitresses and the wait between courses was spot on. Would vist again when next in town. Personally had the game terrine, venison & poeached pear with salted caramel ice-cream. All delicious.
Really enjoyed it lovely meal great friendly service, only thing was bit disappointed with was the sauce for the steak very small portion could of done with a lot more😁
This was a pre theatre dinner which we thoroughly enjoyed, the surroundings, service and atmosphere was above expectation. Would recommend you to friends and family and will certainly come back myself. Thank you for a very enjoyable experience
3 out of 4 of us had steaks cooked to varying degrees. They were all chewy. We didn't complain as we didn't want to tarnish the evening. I wouldn't rush to go back here. Steaks and sauces overpriced. Better steak to be had at The Cowshed and The Ox.
