We permit a small number of pre-bookings each evening for the Observatory, this is to ensure there is availability for residents. Otherwise admission will be on a first come, first served basis. For information call 028 9023 1066.
The Afternoon Tea was delicious. It was served by friendly, professional staff and nothing was too much trouble. This was my second time in The Observatory and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
It felt like we were sitting in London or New York. Such a lovely addition to Belfast. Can't wait to come back.
This is my 2nd time at The Observatory and both times the service has been quite slow. Also very disappointing that when you are paying £16 for a Gin and Tonic that you aren't offered nuts or nibbles. even the merchant hotel with similar prices offers free nibbles and to add to your experience and make you want to drink more....
A very enjoyable few hours was spent In the Observatory having afternoon tea. The Food was very nice and the service Good. A special mention has to go to Eve who made our day. The Manager also was very pleasant and attentive. We did browse the cocktail menu but found it rather portentous, so we opted for a couple of glasses of champagne each. I would like to go back on another occasion for drinks as the view was stunning. An enjoyable afternoon all around.
The views are amazing and the decor is beautiful. Staff seem a little clueless at times and considering the cost of the drinks etc, I would expect the service to match. One of our cocktails was served without the key ingredients and they simply didn’t have the customer service ability to manage this. It’s a beautiful spot, but it needs some work.
Drinks lovely Band or singing would be nice.
We felt the Observastory was a bit over-hyped, the views were excellent but overall lacking in atmosphere
Drink prices are extortionate!! Cannot believe a gin was £12-14 with an additional £4 for a mixer. Would not be back again as I do not condone a business charging those types of prices for a simple drink.
Great views and good atmosphere. Drinks very expensive so it seems geared towards special occasion events and high turnover. Staff attentive and friendly.
