This was a buffet and felt the selection was good. Rather than having heaps of items like some places to choose from, I think it is better to have less but made well - as you have done.

It was excelllent, Only comment from the group was the food wasn’t being replenished as quickly as it should have been, but I’m not complaining as I thought it was one of the better buffet breakfast
We had our company social club event there and I must admit the food was superb with the variety of choices. The space is enough to accommodate us (40 people) easily and comfortably.
Our lunch (as always) was thoroughly enjoyed by our party of 5 - thank you!!

Tamsin and the rest of the staff at the Grand Cafe are always welcoming and professional. It's always a pleasure to dine in the restaurant.
We had some friends from out of town and we found the service food etc was excellent and the clearing of all used plates was swift ,the food selection that covered all requirement and tastes very good evening and being able to use the shuttle made it possible for all of use to enjoy the whole evening

We always enjoy our visits to Grand Cafe. The staff are super-helpful and the food of excellent quality. The only suggestion is that we would like to see at least one vegetarian option for the buffet main course. Apart from the fried battered fish pieces all the other items are meat based.

It was a nice place for a meal although not enough vegetables for the main course. The buffet otherwise had lots of good choices, especially the seafood chowder.

Id like to see more hot choices of desserts like apple crumble as well as another one . And more chinese style hot dishes.

Would like to see the gravies gluten free with being coeliac sauces are important as a finish to a dish plus gluten free rice crackers and maybe a bread would be nice thanks😀

Was disappointed in the food, no one asked us if we wanted drinks, or told us what was on offer but the table next to us got all that service

As two Gold Card holders, we enjoyed great food at a very reasonable price. We will recommend your Grand Cafe to others and will definitely be returning!!

we often make time to visit the grand cafe and then the casino after when we visit Christchurch. it is always a pleasant atmosphere and the service is great.
