Great ambience, stylish decor, easy location
Slow service Starter arrived before main course Main course went back to allow us to then eat starter, but not totally convinced it wasn't just re-heated rather than fresh after eating the starter Vegetable dish ordered with main course never arrived
In our opinion we got the feeling we weren't "hipster" enough for the restaurant and staff. Good food, but small portions compared to the price."fine dining"-style. We could not try the wine&spirits because we had an early start next morning. The restaurant itself was interesting/the looks/lamps etc Can I recommend it? Maybe, if this is what you is after.
Lovely bar meal bbq brisket was a bit chewy but the burger was wonderful. The date pudding was fantastic but the tiramisu was lacking a bit but overall it was a great meal.
Fantastic vegetarian & vegan menu and great service. Thank you.
A very enjoyable evening
Service was a little slow for a restaurant that was not too busy. I had to return my tuna as it had been over cooked. The staff were apologetic and the chef promptly provided a fresh, perfectly cooked dish.
Whilst your staff tried their best, there were not enough of them, so service was ridiculously slow. Our beef burger main course was raw and stone cold and we had to send it back. The £64 Dover Sole was beyond belief - overcooked, tiny and badly presented. The restaurant manager kindly reduced our bill, but you seriously need to up your game - it was one of the worst and most overpriced meals we’ve ever had the misfortune to order. We appreciate that Dover Sole is expensive, but you simply can’t charge these kind of prices and then cook and present it soooo badly! We will never return which is a shame because the hotel itself is in a great spot & aside from the appalling meal we had a reasonable stay. Staff were all courteous and helpful.
Very helpful staff, accommodating us when we arrived over an hour early for our booking. Service was quick and they dealt with my wheat intolerance efficiently. We have been before and would go again on another visit to London
Able to choose from an innovative menu and while starter of curried cauliflower was warm rather than hot it was extremely tasty and a good portion-size. Main course of fresh tuna with wasabi and accompanying sauce was augmented with side dishes of pan-fried portobello mushrooms and green salad. Service was easy-paced and unhurried.. Wine selection was really good, but for lunch I decided English cider was preferred. Well done..London trip had a lovely finish.
Another pleasurable visit, Fast becoming my favorite place to eat when visiting London
The food was delicious and beautifully cooked. The service was also good. We would be happy to eat there again.
I have sent a very positive review to Trip Advisor. Had a fantastic dinner. Jose is the best! He made our evening perfect. Thank you so much for our Anniversary desserts. We will return soon Lawrence and Maureen Walsh
Very good food/wines. Good selections. Portion sizes perfect.
Nice restaurant. The food was well cooked and the staff were attentive, although the meal a little expensive for what we got.
Sevice parfait Personnel très à l'écoute, d'une grande gentillesse et très efficace Parfait
There was a DJ! You have a wonderful menu, and beautiful dining area, and you stick a DJ in there! So we left, which is a real shame. FYI, you were pretty empty at 7:15. We walked down to the the Plum & Spilt Milk and they had no room for us, and the Gilbert Scott was pretty busy too. Maybe your DJ is scaring off everyone?
Although no separate gluten free menu, I had no difficulty in selecting from the menu - most items could be prepared to suit me.
The food was beautiful my husband had the fillet steak he said it was the best ever
Excellent service de Melanie.Cuisine contemporaine de bon niveau.Le responsable du bar Romain sympathique et très agréable, nous a bien conseillé pour le vin.2 grands professionnels. Une très bonne adresse.A faire sans hésiter!
The lamb chops were far too highly salted, nearly inedible. The waiting staff while friendly did not pay attention to customers and it was difficult to attract their attention. A small amount of change and refocus would improve this restaurant very much.
Having paid £16.25 for a glass of wine, I cannot see me coming back to Golden Arrow or recommend anyone!!!! If I was charged that for a cheap bottle of wine, I can quite understand but to charge that extortionate amount for a GLASS is unbelievable
Had a brilliant meal with three friends who were equally impressed. Fantastic, Food, Staff and restaurant.
Went for cocktail masterclass with group of 8 friends. Great service from the staff looking after us, excellent instruction on making cocktails. Really fun experience during the night, topped off with a surprise for the birthday girl. Thanks to everyone who helped with the event.
