About Godolphin Arms
Enjoy table service, sit back and relax in one of our light bathed and restful spaces - all with far-reaching views out over Marazion, Mount's Bay and St Michael's Mount. Sit in the glass and zinc extension, with doors that open out for al fresco dining during the summer months. Celebrate with family or friends around the intimate Captain's Table that seats nine, or alternatively, relax in our upper deck that has easy sofas, comfy chairs and a log burner. On the lower deck, walk straight in off the beach to the chilled-out Beach Bar. Outside, the beach terrace is a place to linger, absorb the astonishing views of Mount's Bay and simply watch the world go by.
Service was excellent. The food was delicious. Well presented environment with stunning views.
We had a wonderful time at Godolphin Arms . It was simple to book online. The waiting staff were helpful and kind throughout our visit. We were delighted with the location, the feel of the place and the food. We were a party of 6 ranging in age from 4 to 71 and this kept everyone happy!
Another lovely meal at the Godolphin Arms. Amazing fish and chips,as always, great burger and lovely crab mac'n cheese. Beautiful views, friendly and professional staff and great value for money - no wonder we are regulars!
Had the seafood sharing platter. All the seafood was lovely, but they were very mean with the bread (three small slices between two of us), butter (none until requested), lemon (1 small wedge until more requested). Lighting too bright for an evening meal - made it feel like a motorway service station by the sea. Music was awful but they changed it to a more mellow playlist when asked.
Amazing views, clean comfortable setting, lights a bit too bright making it feel a little clinical, Food acceptable but not exceptional. Service excellent.
Lovely service, food and a perfect view. Have already recommended to others!
Late booking for a Friday night, so was not surprised a limited spaces available. The place was very busy and quite noisy, however the staff were great and found us somewhere to sit until our table was ready. Starters arrived quite quickly however the wine list was very limited with our first 2 choices being sold out. Mains were slightly longer in arriving, but in all honesty well worth the wait. We would definitely book again but would try to arrange an earlier booking
Sad to say I am really disappointed. I've visited the Godolphin Arms a few times now and this visit really fell short of my expectations. The staff seemed more interested in talking and faffing around with each other, or looking at their nails or playing with their hair. We ordered 2 Beef roasts, 1 Camembert and 1 Fish and Chips. Fish and Chips was great. Beef Roasts, The beef and Yorkshire puddings were very nice. However the choice of veg did not compliment the meal (Sweet potato mash, red cabbage and leeks...) The 'roast' potatoes were starchy and felt and tasted like they had been left for hours before plating. The camembert came out undercooked and cold, that got sent back. By the time the cheese came back cooked correctly, the other 3 guests had finished their meals, which was a bit awkward. When it came to pay, we were asked to go to a till if we wanted to split the bill (2 couples). The staff member was new and although was trying her best came across as very 'in your face' and loud. She asked for help, to which another staff member just pressed some buttons, no actual training or support. I don't think I will be returning after this visit, which is a shame as the actual atmosphere, décor and views make for a good spot to eat.
Great atmosphere and amazing food. Great that it is dog friendly. Very friendly staff and brilliant customer service.
With its unrivalled position, offering beautiful views across Mount's Bay to St. Michael's Mount and beyond, this restaurant is a favourite of my family, who always appreciate the friendly welcome that we receive from Geoffrey, and the the excellent food and service that can be relied upon. My only regret is that I am now no longer able to obtain a refund of the £4.50 car parking charge, against the cost of meals.
Beautiful venue with beautiful views. The food is very good and service is very friendly. I’ve eaten here before and we would defiantly come back again.
Excellent venue and food. The view from the restaurant is incredible. We will definetly be returning.
Will definitely be back.
Following a phone call to request a window table with our very close friends at a busy time of year, we were not disappointed. A lovely view and delicious hake. Thank you
Very pleasant evening spent at the Godolphin, excellent food, excellent staff and superb location with a view to die for of St Michaels Mount
Always a wonderful meal. Accommodating and beautifully prepared food. Thank you! Be back soon!
Amazing views, food and service
Amazing views, great food and service. Very patient with my three small children.
We have given three for service. The individual service by Ruben was excellent however it felt that after 2pm there were less staff available and thus the individual could not manage all the tables without the support from other staff.
Good meal at a great location. Stunning view of Mounts Bay from the restaurant.
Great meal - thoroughly enjoyed the Bang Bang Chicken Salad bowl!
Overall very good and glad the booking system remembered me from the last visit
Lovely setting for dinner and amaz ing veiws but very disappointing when we were seated a 7pm we were told there was no "catch of the day" left and no beef or turkey for the roast dinner! I opted for fish & chips and when it arrived the fish was placed on top of the chips which made them all soggy? Such a shame as I had heard such good things about the restaurant.
A great pub, with fabulous views over St Michael’s Mount. The food was fantastic as was the service. We ate here twice.
A lovely evening. The Godolphin is presented well and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food was brilliant quality and nothing could be faulted, I would definitely recommend.
