About Glovers Alley
Glovers Alley is a fine dining Restaurant overlooking the beautiful surrounds of Stephen's Green.
Chef/Owner Andy McFadden as and his talented team create beautifully presented, impeccable, elegant dishes while the Front of House team provide an exceptionally memorable guest experience.
Absolutely fantastic food and service. We had the 6-course tasting menu which was delicious. The kitchen made changes to a couple of dishes to accommodate some food intolerances and the floor staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.
Excellent meal with fantastic service. Would definitely recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyed this fine dining experience from start to finish. Had the three course lunch menu which was delicious; it was served with several amuse-bouche and a wonderful selection of breads - the warm parmesan and black olive bread was scrumptious. Service was extremely friendly and professional. Would definitely recommended and am looking forward to returning again soon!
The Pre Theatre menu is excellent value and completely exceeded our expectations. The service was exceptional and thanks to the entire team for looking after us. Highly recommend a treat at Glovers Alley, you will not be disappointed!
Very impressed with this lovely place!Loved the soft/atmospheric decor and very restful!Great Staff and such variations in the food!We had a super evening---would say wines overly priced!WE will be back and well done!Would have loved to meet Andy!!
Excellent meal in beautiful surroundings. Immaculate friendly service that is not too intrusive. Elegant simple food that is cooked with precision & care. Highly recommend.
Excellent food and service with a lovely extra touch for my girlfriends birthday! Would highly recommend.
Congratulations on a wonderful dining experience. The food was exceptional!
We had a great lunch experience at Glovers Alley - marvellous food and impeccable service. We'll be back and will certainly recommend it to others.
The decor is overall very nice and bright. The room can be a bit noisy if there are loud guests. The wine list is very good: extensive and with good quality wines also in the low end of the range. Tasting menu is delicious. To get full marks the menu just need a bit more “wow factor” on the presentation and a step up in the dessert.
Fantastic meal. The tasting menu was the best we have ever had. Absolutely stunning.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening having selected the tasting menu. The food was delicious with an extensive selection of wines available. Staff provided flawless service. We will be recommending to family and friends.
A really great experience - balanced and full flavours in beautiful surroundings.
The greeting, the food, the room - everything was lovely. The scallop starter was fresh and light, the duck and beetroot main was robust and full of flavour (how do you give beetroot that texture?) and the citrus soufflé was worthy of an award all on its own. All the little extras (grapefruit granita on a hot day was superb) and the chocolate truffles with coffee made it extra special. Make sure you try the black olive and parmesan bread too.
We have visited twice in the last month, once for a lunch with four people and once for the new kitchen experience and a lunch. Both times the food was exceptional but what made the visits memorable was the quality of food, the range and variety on the wine list along with the combination of warmth and professionalism of the staff. This is a high end dining experience delivered in a way that makes you want to go back for more.
Special mention to James wine sommelier ! He is absolutely dream for an restaurant great at his job and keeps the clients buying more wine !
The Staff, food ,ambiance were aligned to make last saturday nights outhing something to be cherished, very well done to all involved
A great new addition to Dublin's fine dining experiance
A lovely evening with beautiful food and excellent service.
Absolutely wonderful lunch time experience in this, our first visit, to Glovers Alley. The lovely warm welcome, in truly a beautifllly redesigned and redecorated restaurant, was followed by great food and excellent wine recommendations, all served by attentive, knowledgable and friendly staff. Well worth it, and we will be back. Thank you.
We had a wonderful afternoon in Glovers Alley. The staff were extremely attentive in an unobtrusive way. The food was excellent from course to course - there was no rush to move us on. It was an ideal setting! We will definitely be back again!
Excellent food and service. All the tasty extras add greatly to the experience. Staff are most attentive and friendly. Pricey, so likely to be kept for special occasions.
Thank you for our delightful lunch on Saturday. I have hesitated to visit in the past as a result of your IT review which I think badly wronged the restaurant. The re-decoration of the space, which previously suffered from an "office-box" feel is exceptionally clever, particularly the use of mirrors and curves. The tasting menu was superb (stand-outs were the crab/kohl-rabi and the scallops/curry/onion bhajii). I wasn't convinced by the chicken-skin amuse... Excellent wine-list, particularly in Burgundy / Rhone, but across the board. Very helpful and friendly staff. Thanks again, I look forward to my next visit.
The second time I have been in Glovers Alley lately and everything about this place is excellent. The food is great, décor is fantastic and the service is top class. Its a tough place to crack given its not on ground level, but its worth a trip up the stairs or in the elevator. Well worth a visit, I will be back.
