Very good food
Food was the best , service quick and efficient. A bit pricey but well worth it .
Disappointment that there is no baby changing facility. Had to change my baby on a hard floor is not ideal £5 chicken satay for 2 pieces of chicken? However the mains are delicious
We were sat upstairs but not much atmosphere. Much prefer sitting downstairs. Food fabulous though.
Great food and service as always
Great waitress and food was lovely. Not great table as was opposite the tolls and was loud but had a good time.
The food was amazing and portion sizes are good. Little hard to eat the tapas sets with the plate style.
We had a great meal, really tasty with a really upbeat atmosphere. What made the meal was the friendly staff who gave us great service.
Absolutely adore this place! Food is exquisite! Recommend to everyone I know.
We can always rely on the fact that the food, and the service, will be great.
Excellent food and service, as always.
The food was OK, average, not wonderful, we’ve had better at this restaurant.
Fantastic restaurant, gorgeous food. Even brought us free dessert as it was for a birthday
We usually enjoy dining at the Giggling Squid, as the food's usually pretty spot on - but this latest trip was pretty terrible in terms of the service received. One of the starters didn't turn up until the others in the party had nearly finished theirs; no apology received, then a side was missing from a main - which when queried with the staff - received a somewhat aggressive response - no admission of fault or apology received - more waiting for that to turn up. On ordering our mains we asked specifically about what was in one of the mains, and we were told "yes, it includes this item" - guess what, it didn't include the item. We had to wait ages for the bill to arrive, and that was after being ignored many times. The cherry on top, was the £20 whacked on the bill for 'service'. In any other establishment, they might have offered to knock at least *something* off due to all the mistakes - but not here.
First visit as it was recommended by a friend. Sat upstairs, food was great. But it seemed there was only one waitress working all of the tables upstairs. She seemed slightly run off her feet. So only ordered extra drinks when our meals were brought to the table
Delicious clean food Beautiful building Can’t complain
Food was fabulous quality - service great - would definitely return
Order the Koong Choo Chi! It’s fab!
Service was slow and we had to chase for our drinks we had ordered. Eventually they tried to bring our food, starters and mains together, and we still had no drinks delivered. They took the food away and brought it back later on the right order. Starter first.
Mains get 5 stars for VFM, however paying £6 for literally 3 spring rolls isnt worth it hahah, wonderful food and atmosphere though cant help but love the giggling squid as I my girlfriend and I are regular customers. Would recommend the Paneang beef curry 👍🏻
Excellent food and great service. Really worth a trip. Prawn crackers are a must.
