Best restaurant for Thai food Everything is cooked from scratch by Thai chefs. Where practical ingredients are sourced locally. We have a love of seafood, and we have a wide range of dishes beyond that.
The best Thai food For lunchtime eating, our tasting 'sets' or our Thai tapas. An excellent way to try lots of different dishes in one go.
I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely place to anyone. Maybe a little pricey for some dishes but very nice all the same.
We had a lovely meal , such an attractive restaurant full of orchids and light. Food was delicious and well presented. We will certainly return and recommend our friends.
I thought the food and the restaurant were fantastic! I got up to pay as needed to go somewhere else and didn’t see the bill - asked about adding a tip and wasn’t advised that there was already a service charge added - so whilst was very happy to pay 10% - felt a bit cheat3d when I unwittingly added another 10% to the bill which already had service added'
It's the second time I've had lunch here and it's well worth a visit.
We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff - in fact, every member of staff we had contact with was friendly, approachable and helpful. The place is light and nicely decorated. Although it fits lots of people, it doesn't feel crowded. There are lots of food choices and everything we had was very tasty. The times between ordering and the food arriving was just right. All in all it was a fantastic way to celebrate our 3 birthdays. Thank you.
I was really quite disappointed by this visit. It was my first time to giggling squid and decided to take a friend who was visiting Bath for the weekend. The menu I was given was stuck together with food and my friend’s napkin was dirty with old food. The waiters were unattentive and it was very difficult to get their attention when we wanted to order or ask questions. There was also quite a lot of dishes that were not available, which as a vegetarian really limited my food options which was a bit of a let down. The food we had was nice, but I feel overpriced at nearly £30 pp when we shared a starter.
Great service, some of the best food outside Thailand. Food can be made spicy if you ask. I did and it was great.
Food was very good and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. Staff were very attentive and friendly. All round good experience.
Decent Thai food - not outstanding as I had been led to believe. Our group preferred the starters (salt&pepper Squid, Moo Ping and a Salad with prawn & pomelo) Mains were - steamed fish (quite bland), lamb shank in coconut sauce (tasty but combo little a strange) and sticky chicken (very acceptable)
I have called the current manager to give some feedback. I’ve really tried to give the restaurant a go but the service has been really bad on the 3 times I’ve been. Staff seem undertrained and lacking English language skills. EVERYTIME food and drink had to be chased up. Wrong things served or forgotten and something wrong with the bill. Friends have reported similar.
Unfortunately the duck red curry my partner ordered , at least half of the meat was just fat. Inedible. I highlighted this to the staff, they were very good and gave a discount on the bill. It was an anniversary dinner and so that made it worse. More control need from the kitchen
Amazing food and atmosphere, we would definitely return.
Beautiful restaurant, great food and very efficient service
Such a pleasant environment and was absolutely buzzing in there even at lunch time. The food quality is outstanding and so much better value for money compared to the price you will pay for average food elsewhere.
Very disappointing experience, had booked a table for 2 people and arrived on time, was finally shown to it after 20 minutes wait, no offer of sit in bar, just left standing whilst other larger parties without bookings were taken through. Seated at a table that was so unsteady, the wine glasses fell over as we sat down, tried to order 2 glasses of Sauvignon blanc- they had run out of both types on the wine list. Then had to order a Chenin blanc instead which they refused to do by the glass, only by the bottle - really not impressed. They are sacrificing a quality experience just to get people through the door.
Absolutely amazing. Already looking forward to coming back, superb food, and excellent attentive service, thank you!
Looking forward to returning.
Very nicely cooked, served and authentic Thai food. On the pricey side but the food was worth it. Seafood and the jungle curry were v good. Beer is too expensive though even for imported beer. Wouldn’t order that again!
Service slow and not very attentive, we almost felt a nusiance.
Perfect evening to celebrate husbands birthday with the family. Food excellent, great menu and good service.
Excellent all round from service to food to prices. Soft shell crab the star - could have eaten those all night! Good value wine as well. Thanks for very good night. Gin bar a short walk away was fabulous recommendation for afterwards and a 2 min walk away.
Everything about this dining experience was fantastic. From the minute we walked through the door until we left. Wonderful place! 😍
Another fantastic lunch
My friend only had three Prawns in her curry. But the food was fantastic and staff as great as ever.
Great fresh food in an informal atmosphere
