Had a great Christmas afternoon tea, our dietary requirements were looked after, plenty of different teas to try, plenty of sandwiches & cakes, the small sausage rolls fantastic (pity there was not more) and we was not rushed away from the table.
Fantastic afternoon tea!
Me and my partner really enjoyed our lunch that we had on 8/12. The food was excellent as was the service from every member of staff. We have been previously and will certainly be returning again. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Well done!
Lovely setting, amazing food and there was so much ! Cakes taste homemade
Food good although portions are very small indeed and menu a little limited.
Having ordered tea and coffee. The pots arrived but we had to ask for the milk and cream. The turkey wrap was missing because we had a medical reason for no cranberry. We weren’t offered turkey without cranberry.
Had afternoon tea excellent food and service
Our waitress was Emma she was most helpful and pleasant. Seating was comfortable and table presentation was excellent. The Brasserie was beautifully decorated. The food was creative and well presented. A pleasant dining experience.
Lovely food. Friendly and kind staff. Will be coming back
Attended an Afternoon Tea at the end of December last year. It was excellent, both food & service. Yesterday we attended for a Very Special occasion on that basis & booked Champagne Afternoon Tea. Although the food was still good(felt more savoury & slightly less sweet would have been better), although everyone was very pleasant, the waitress greeted us nicely & left the tea choices on the table. On her return she asked if we wanted tea or coffee & said did we want anything special or just "ordinary" tea, no particular effort to explain the various teas. Asked if we wanted an explanation of the food, which after all, is part of the event of an Afternoon tea. I asked her to go through it. Very pleasant but all seemed a bit of an effort. asked for more tea & was politely told, had a lot of people to sort out & would be back shortly, once again, seemed a bit of an inconvenience. we had a nice afternoon as it was an 80th Birthday Celebration & so I made no reference to this at the time as I did not want to tarnish the treat for Our Mum, but I have definitely had far far better service so this was very disappointing.
I was very happy with my experience at Garden Brasserie with excellent food, service and price. It is without doubt that I will be returning
Excellent service and atmosphere
The meal was very disappointing, it was a black friday menu. very disappointing. it was set menu and not much and very little for vegans even though I informed the restaurant we had a vegan guest. We bought clients and it was frankly embarrassing. we had eaten there before and had fillet steak so had told our client how lovely it was and there was no red meat on the menu. We will never eat there again, we should have had a choice of the black friday menu or the usual one.
As always the whole experience was superb. Thank you
Excellent service, EVERY TIME! I highly recommend!
Lovely food and plenty of it. You get the choice to take uneaten food home too. Would like to be able to book to stay for more than 2 hours seated although we did move into the bar area.
A much better cup of tea since using loose leaf tea - last time I cane it was really weak! Lovely food and a nice touch providing boxes to takeaway too. Service was excellent.
Excellent service, great food and friendly staff.
Have been numerous times to the afternoon tea, had the savoury option (unknown at time of booking thought we was having the normal one) which wasn’t very nice at all. Large wraps, huge rolls, no cakes. Really disappointed in a couple of the staffs manners when we asked what things were on the stand she was rude and said ‘wait’ then never came back. Wouldn’t come back will be trying somewhere different for our annual get together.
Enjoyable experience and would certainly come again.
The waitress was very helpful, but in someways it felt like you were being rushed - they were polite but need to just take a step back - the food was lovely but again the waitress was not aware that the desert I choose was not available - this would have been better to have been told, bearing in mind she chased us for a decision a couple of times - however we would come back and liked the atmosphere and the main course was lovely
Been there twice in the last couple of months for afternoon tea and would thoroughly recommend.
Great location and venue for afternoon tea but I feel that the quality of the sandwiches could have been better. Most places offer more gourmet style sandwiches for a similar priced afternoon tea. When we requested a small amount of extra sandwiches we were told to pay extra. However, the waiters were very attentive and the quality of the champagne was fantastic.
Beautiful setting for Afternoon Tea
The service was very quick and our waitress very attentive. The pastry on our quiche was the best we’ve ever eaten! All in all a lovely afternoon tea.
