Great kids afternoon tea, child friendly. Lovely variety of cakes and sandwiches- would defo recommend.
Dimmer lights at dinner perhaps and more atmospheric music. Ironically the music at breakfast was loud and pop and should have been the other way round. Sedate music at breakfast.
Really lovely meal, attention from staff was excellent. Booked again in December
Food was lovely friendly staff
The servers should of come round more twice I have to ask for drinks
We had a lovely afternoon and will definitely go back x
One of the best cream teas we have ever had. The three of us really enjoyed it. Thank you
The meal was served on time and tasted delicious
The manager Joanna was really helpful in helping me plan a birthday meal for 25 guest. The evening was very nice, we never had to wait long for any of our starter, main meal or desserts. The staff were very attentative. Afternoon Tea for 2 was very nice. The food was really tasty.
Beautiful location and amazing service for my mum's 70th birthday
Excellent as always. Superb cooking and fantastic staff. Well done and thank you.
Only one very small criticism, no boxes available to bring home what we left, had to have wrapped in foil, not ideal for cream cakes! Will definately visit again.
Fantastic afternoon treating my Mum to an afternoon tea. The food was plentiful and lovely choices and the service was excellent, we felt very looked after. I'm looking forward to the Christmas afternoon tea
I have been before for afternoon tea, but it wasn’t as good as this time. Liked the rolls and the small warm quiches, which was a nice touch.
All staff were really lovely nothing was to much, not once did we have to ask for more tea or coffee as the staff were asking if we needed more. couldn't of asked for better. We was a party of 15 and have all said that we would do it all again .
Enjoyed a lovely lunch on a nice sunny autumn day, nice lunchtime menu to choose from & good service. Look forward to returning again soon
We came for a work reunion which meant a large group. Everything was great, we were very well looks after and the food was lovely.
Compliments to the chef and kitchen for creative and delicious food; and to the waiting staff for a polite and professional service.
Food and service first class.
Did an overnight spa package for a friends birthday, good value, food exceptional, only downside for a spa is that you can eat and drink in the cafe/restaurant adjoining the spa in the robes and slippers, however when you eat dinner or breakfast these meals are in the hotel, therefore you cant (dinner ok most people wish to dress for this) but at other spa resorts, breakfast is usually allowed in the robes etc, that is part of the relaxation of it. Maybe the hotel could offer breakfast in the restaurant attached to the spa which would make more sense. Also, spa guests staying overnight can use the spa facilities both days, however you only get the robe for the first day you are there (again not like most other spas whereby you have this for the duration of your stay), that ruined it a little for us, bot overall the spa is beautiful and tranquil and the staff in the cafe restaurant sataria and garden brasserie were outstanding.
Couldn’t do enough for us, the service was excellent. The afternoon tea was well worth the money. Everyone took a doggie bag home, as there was so much.
Had a lovely afternoon tea at the Orsett Hall with 3 friends. Very enjoyable but did not realise we only had the table for 2 hours.
A truly amazing tea Highly recommend it Great value for money Fresh food wide range of teas The service was impeccable Will definitely come back Thank you for a lovely afternoon
A thoroughly enjoyable relaxing day in lovely clean surroundings
The food was great and our allergy requirements were carefully looked after. We started with a Pimms each which were excellent. And the staff were friendly and attentive. A most pleasant experience
