Lovely afternoon tea voucher gotten on Groupon for a great price! Very enjoyable
We were very impressed by the professionalism of the staff. We will all definitely recommend Gallaghers and will be back
Very pleasant experience. Would definitely come again. Food very fresh and tasty
Had high hopes for the food as the actual room is a lovely space with dual aspects and nicely decorated with modern taste. RE the food: The seafood chowder was unlike any I have ever seen and was almost certainly soup with some fish added. Was edible but was not made correctly. The terrine was not a terrine and appeared to be some kind of ham pressing. Again edible but not what was describe on the menu. Bruschetta was described as “nice”. The steak seemed to be nicely cooked but all 4 were tough. I suspect that the quality of the steak was the issue, presumably it is either a cheap cut or a supplier issue but regardless the steak was poor. The Béarnaise sauce was totally inadequate, was extremely thin as if the sauce had split but it did not seem to be the case. Failing that I assume the sauce was out of a carton. The pepper sauce was really poor, only flavour was black pepper, no underlying base flavours of Espangnole, brandy or even the cream – just black pepper. Fries were fine. Brownies for dessert were also fine, a little dry but nothing to stop people enjoying them. Worth noting that we were celebrating an occasion, ordered a bottle of Prosecco for €32 (for a screw cap) to start and the meal came to €198 for four of us. When we went to our next venue all of the party agreed we were very disappointed in the food and would not be returning again.
Lovely meal, thank you
We had afternoon tea for four and it was fabulous... the girl who served us was lovely, we were a few minutes late and she was very understanding. The glasses were filled to the brim with presecco and the sandwiches and cakes were delicious.. I had never had clotted cream before and it was fabulous !!! I will definitely be back again 😍
Myself and my friend found a deal on Groupon for afternoon tea at Gallagher and co bistro and I have to say, it was great! Very good value for money, the waitress was absolutely lovely and so friendly. I forgot to ask for her name but she made our experience at Gallagher and co one to remember. The food was so fresh and tasty. We will definitely be back 😊
I’d say that with the toiled updated an one more member of staff to keep tables clean this place would’ve got 5 stars all round. Food was delicious although some looked a little shop bought. Sandwiches were so yummy and cocktails were unreal ! Just needs a little bit more love on the cleanliness . Over all we really enjoyed ourselves so thank you !
Staff were very accommodating. Even to the extent of checking if the light was too bright from the window, etc. Great offering in a really stylish space! we;ll be back
As a regular at Gallagher’s I never have a problem .. food service and variety is great 👍
I was looking to meet up with an old time friend, the afternoon tea was perfect, such generous portions and very fresh. Will definitely come again
Afternoon tea all tasted lovely but presented badly sandwich were just cut down the middle in 2halves.
Really enjoyed our evening, Staff and food excellent!

Facilitated us with a small baby and pram really well. Food was excellent and service very good. Will certainly be back.
Staff are always friendly. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Always happy when I go here!
There was 13 of us for a birthday celebration so busy table Most people got a mixture New steak menu went down well it’s medium size but adiqute, lovesly mash and onion rings to go with it .goats cheese salad went down very well and the pasta . Mushroom bruschetta was lovely too . Service was great . Aoife and Henry really liked after us . Great place for any occasion!
I liked the place but charging €16 for a pasta dish is ridiculous. Seriously, you are nowhere near fancy enough to charge so much for pasta dish. I should have checked the prices prior to booking but just didn't expect anything on that level. Anyway, l liked the place but would not book there again, there better places in the area.
Food was decent, I understand Dublin is expensive but 70 euro for a 2 course meal and drinks is excessive in relation to the quality of the food. The service was decent, however it was suggested that we get water for the table which turned out to be 4 euro, we weren't even told we'd be charged for it. That particular waiter had no manners at all. Atmosphere was more like a cafe than a restaurant and so you would expect to pay café prices. All in all tho the food was nice and it is a pleasant spot, but for the price that is the least you would expect.
Lovely meal and lovely staff will definitely return . Thank you
This is a wonderful little bistro with good food and great service. I would have rated the food as 4 stars only for the fact that the cod was overcooked and a little dry. Having said that, I would certainly go back to Gallaher's without any hesitation.
Waiting a long time for our afternoon tea to arrive, When it finally arrived it came with no tea, Again we had to wait a long time to get our tea. Lovely food though. And nice Decor.
Unfortunately our visit this time was rather disappointing the food we had wasn’t very appetizing and didn’t seem to be the freshly cooked, especially the rice.
We had a Living Social voucher for a 3 course steak dinner. Great value at €39.00 for 2 people. Great food, which highly recommend.
