Facilitated us with a small baby and pram really well. Food was excellent and service very good. Will certainly be back.
Staff are always friendly. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Always happy when I go here!
There was 13 of us for a birthday celebration so busy table Most people got a mixture New steak menu went down well it’s medium size but adiqute, lovesly mash and onion rings to go with it .goats cheese salad went down very well and the pasta . Mushroom bruschetta was lovely too . Service was great . Aoife and Henry really liked after us . Great place for any occasion!
I liked the place but charging €16 for a pasta dish is ridiculous. Seriously, you are nowhere near fancy enough to charge so much for pasta dish. I should have checked the prices prior to booking but just didn't expect anything on that level. Anyway, l liked the place but would not book there again, there better places in the area.
Food was decent, I understand Dublin is expensive but 70 euro for a 2 course meal and drinks is excessive in relation to the quality of the food. The service was decent, however it was suggested that we get water for the table which turned out to be 4 euro, we weren't even told we'd be charged for it. That particular waiter had no manners at all. Atmosphere was more like a cafe than a restaurant and so you would expect to pay café prices. All in all tho the food was nice and it is a pleasant spot, but for the price that is the least you would expect.
Lovely meal and lovely staff will definitely return . Thank you
This is a wonderful little bistro with good food and great service. I would have rated the food as 4 stars only for the fact that the cod was overcooked and a little dry. Having said that, I would certainly go back to Gallaher's without any hesitation.
Waiting a long time for our afternoon tea to arrive, When it finally arrived it came with no tea, Again we had to wait a long time to get our tea. Lovely food though. And nice Decor.
Unfortunately our visit this time was rather disappointing the food we had wasn’t very appetizing and didn’t seem to be the freshly cooked, especially the rice.
We had a Living Social voucher for a 3 course steak dinner. Great value at €39.00 for 2 people. Great food, which highly recommend.
Staff were super friendly, food was yummy. They catered to our fussy plain eaters too and would definitely come back for afternoon tea again. The main meals passing our tables looked amazing too!
Average at best on all accounts. Disappointing for price
“The food was amazing. Enjoyed the food and the service was absolutely perfect. First time trying”
Glimrende beliggenhed i relation til at besøge Trinity College m.v.
Dropped in here with a friend for a catch up after work recently. We both had a the steak for mains - for the price, I thought this was pretty average - chewy and fairly bland. The pepper sauce was a bit on the runny side. The fries were lovely. I had the apple crumble for desert, which was tasty. Service was on the slow side and our bills were mixed up in the end. The manager/head waitress resolved this fairly quickly in the end.
Disappointed with afternoon tea. Savoury tier was very tasty but the sweet tier was overloaded with cream. I never complain about the food in Gallahers as it is always top quality but this time i had to. A pastry casing with flavoured whipped cream is not a dessert! Bitesize desserts or petits fours should be served. I won't be having afternoon tea there again but I will visit for dinner as there is great choice of dishes on the menu.
Great service and great food. I really appreciate the level of detail by presenting my boyfriend a surprise dessert with a candle for his birthday. Great surprise!
Nice enough place inside but steak was full of fat and gristle. No one asked us was it ok so I didnt complain but we won’t be returning.
Delicious food for a great price and with amazing service. Staff were friendly and the place had a great atmosphere about it. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a great dining experience at an affordable price. BYOB is also a plus, and though a 6 euro corkage fee is quite high, it's totally worth it for the service.
Amazing customer service. Delicious food, steak was incredible. Fantastic value for money.
I took my family and in laws to Gallagehrs on Saturday as it was the first time both sets of parents met for the first time since myself and my partner got engaged. This was a big day for us so we chose Gallaghers for dinner. The food was really good, big portions and really tasty! The staff were unbelievable. So nice and looked after my 18 month old nephew as well and engaged with him each time they walked past. It really was an absolute fabulous dinner and the staff are a credit to the restaurant. We will 100% be returning again soon.
