Nice place, could do with better attention to detail on general cleaning - stained milk jug, floor sweeping
We had a great time at the restaurant - the staff looked after us really well and never even turned a hair when everyone decided they wanted extra caramel sauce on every dessert! Food was amazing. You made our Easter Sunday! Many thanks :)
Went with a group of friends and the BYOB is a great idea. Food was nice.
Very pleasant experience. Staff very welcoming, went out of their way to ensure we were well looked after. Food was of very good quality! Would go back for sure
We visited your restaurant yesterday through a recommendation. Location is great service was great, however the food would not entice me to return. The starter was nice ( salmon) however the main not so, my steak, while I asked for it well done was extremely chewy, the chips were were like they were fried in oil a couple of weeks old. The vegetables were too hard to eat and the mashed potatoes served with the fish was very off putting. When I took a look in the kitchen I thought it looked dirty with staff not wearing hats or uniforms. When I visited the bathroom I could smell them from the top of the stairs they were very dirty. The standard of hygiene all round was extremely poor. I would return for drinks as the staff were very friendly, however I would not return for food. Very disappointing meal out for mother’s day.
We really enjoyed the afternoon tea. The portion sizes were perfect, great variety of savoury and treats. Excellent service. Thank you!
Very little choice on the menu. Staff more interested in taking to each other.
Despite having 2 months notice the only vegan item they could offer one of our party was a salad with leaves, beetroot and 3 pieces of grapefruit (we had booked for afternoon tea) Had issues booking it as they weren’t taking bookings in December for afternoon tea. Waitress admitted they bought everything in so they didn’t know what was in many items, only we had a groupon we wouldn’t have went and we certainly won’t be back. Shame as it’s a nice space
Flat iron steak was awful , chips tasted like they were fryed in same oil after week , felt very rushed not relaxed
Steak was extremely tough to the point we could not finish it. Kitchen staff were shouting out of kitchen at waiters. Coffees cane and were finished before dessert was delivered to take. Waiter did apologies and rectify situation by giving a complimentary dessert but when bill came the dessert was charged for.
Enjoyed lunch here yesterday. Good quality food and excellent service.
We got the afternoon tea deal and the food was excellent
Waitress made my Daughter and I feel very welcome. Couldn't do enough for us.
great service and atmosphere
Love the idea of bring your own bottle makes it good value great location
Great location with good food and staff.
Great food, great service, great value. Love this place. Hadn't been there in a while but will be back soon
The staff were so friendly. Service was great. Tasty food & great value for money. We were not rushed & allowed to take our time to finish our wine which we had brought in.
We were in town for a concert and booked a group discount deal of steak & chips for two. The service was friendly and efficient. The salmon, steak and apple crumble were all excellently cooked and presented. I'd definately go back - the decor and music are nice. It was strange why this place was so quiet on a weekend evening, such a pity.
Most of Sweets taste just sugar. We loved their Scone (amazing flavor and texture). Nothing special for the value.
Two friends and myself went for the first time to Gallahers on Friday 1st March. The centrally located venue is excellent for us. We expressed a problem with a portion size which was addressed by the manageress in a professional way. The waiting staff were attentive and courteous. The food was really tasty and good value for money. Also being able to bring your own wine and pay corkage was an advantage. Overall we had a very pleasant experience and hope to go back there soon.
Staff lovely - food was slow to arrive but very tasty
The afternoon tea was fab. The chicken and bacon sandwich was the best I've tasted. The girl who serviced us was lovely. She even took the time to suggest a few nightspots we could check out. Would highly recommend.
Had a delicious dinner and the service was excellent -couldn’t fault my experience!
