We welcome you to savour each element.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Good service. Good food. Nice view.
Service was fantastic, im looking forward to coming back in particular when refurbishments are completed.
We had a lovely dinner. Excellent service and very exceptional food. Would highly recommend.
The music being played was extremely boring and repetitive, driving us out quickly
We’ve been twice now, both times have been amazing, can’t fault a single thing. Even the wine was a goody.
Great place, amazing food
A most enjoyable evening . Our second Wines of the World Dinner and our guests are also looking forward to future events.
Our waitresses Julija and Ann were exceptional at what they do, giving us the best recommendations and made sure everything was up to standard on the night! The food tasted wonderful too, which is good value for the price.
I was at Four Elements for the World of Wine dinner on Friday November 16th. I might have been a little young for the crowd but my table was pleasant company. The wines were all very nice. It was impressive to match up the Cake wine against some more powerful names in wine, but I really enjoyed all of them. The menu wasn't very inspired. I was more pleased with the wine selection than with the food. If I was staying at a Mercure hotel during another quarterly event, I would most likely not purchase a ticket to the event. I just don't recall anything about the food for the evening, which is probably not a good thing.
Excellent time, food was very good, service was excellent and the staff were extremely co-operative and helpful. One of the best nights for wining and dining that I have had. Would recommend the facility to anyone.
Enjoyed the canapes
We ate both dinner and breakfast, food and service were excellent for both, it would have been expensive without our Accor membership discount. The only complaint was at the breakfast buffet we were told that we had to pay extra if we wanted fried eggs and when I asked for decaf coffee I was told it was extra as well.
Delicious food & wine & excellent service by Vanessa.
Recently stayed at Mercure Sydney for a special weekend away to celebrate our anniversary. We dined in Four Seasons Restaurant and the staff made us feel really welcome and at home, food and drinks were excellent. A very enjoyable evening and hope to do it again soon. Thanks to all staff and Chefs.
The special meal with lobster + beef was great, however, the other special with the veal shank was mostly bone with not a lot of meat, not sure how to solve this, but perhaps it should be cheaper to indicate that it's a relatively small meal. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is really nice, relatively quiet/small restaurant, and conveniently, right next to Central station.
As a Accor member of over 20 years, and currently a platinum member, I have had the privilege of staying and eating at numerous Accor locations throughout the world. It’s easy to take for granted their quality service and food as ‘normal’. I suppose that is what you expect and why you continue to be part of Accor, another facet of their numerous advantages. This time work had me back in Sydney and having been reminded of those numerous advantages staying and dining at the Sydney Mercure was again an easy choice. Our last was positive and this visit was anything but ‘normal’. While breakfast was your standard fare, our evening dining experience wasn’t. The new menu by Chef Simon was great, the Chef’s special a twist on surf and turf, only with lobster, which gives you a sense of what the meal was like. The lamb tarts, pulled lamb and the sweetest tender cutlet with dressing was enjoyed every evening. Dessert an easy choice with the brûlée which may not be always fashionable, but for us always a great way to finish any dining experience. What really stood out, again, was the genuine care, interest and capacity of Dominic to ensure we enjoyed all facets of our dining experience. Again we have been spoilt before, but this visit could only be described as exceptional. While you want to think all patrons are made to feel they are important, Dominic personified that. He helped turn an ordinary visit into a special occasion. The other matter that stood out is that he was showing as genuine interest in all the other patrons as he was with us. We were also very impressed with the staff across the board, from noticing you needed help lifting luggage, offering an umbrella in the rain and greeting you warmly whenever you stepped into the reception area; or Ann’s interest in your day while taking your order, Amoob’s greeting and care at breakfast. The cocktails at Eve’s Bar were noteworthy as were the plate of chips (not sure how they cook them but they are delicious and a generous serve). All up a spectacular visit!
Staff went above and beyond for us, excellent customer service. Food was amazing quality as well. Thank you to Anoop for his attention to detail and making us feel well looked after and for the staff on the night who were very polite and accommodating.
Remember to check the bill, menu and bill’s number are different.
Very friendly staff. Awesome.
The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Food was great. Excellent service.
Thank you very much for an enjoyable meal and great service.
Good food, has potential but not quite there yet. The place could also do with some music playing to make the atmosphere better. Other than that, service was great!
Priya and the team so helpful and professional on recommend a good wine and nice meal. Very nice dinner. I will be back again.
Parking is an issue as customers find it very expensive to pay $36 for having a dinner at the hotel. Management should consider complimentary parking or a token parking fee for patrons.
For entree we had the arancini dish and the pumpkin and feta ravioli dish, both very delicious. For main meals we had the beef cheeks and they were yummy!!! Followed by 2 chocolate desserts that were also very good Good service and atmosphere was good with modern decor, clean table settings
