About Flour & Grape
Enjoy fresh, handmade pasta with an extensive list of exciting Italian Wines on bustling Bermondsey Street
Penne arrabiata is shown on your web as being a top favourite but on Sunday we were told it is no longer served which is a disappointment
Love the food, the wine and the atmosphere. Great place for lunch or dinner. Just wish we could book a table in the evening when we have friends over rather than having to take a chance of a table being available. Means we have to book elsewhere to guarantee somewhere to eat when visitors come.
Service is slow. By this I don't mean food prep time, that's fine. The table staff are not good at looking around to see if a customer is trying to attract their attention. It can be frustrating (especially at lunchtime when people need to get back to work), that we are waiting to place our orders or request the bill. I have been a couple of times and had problems with this. Food is really excellent!
Fabulous restaurant. If you like Padella this is more sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere that you can savour and enjoy. Service is delightful. I keep coming back.
Third time visiting, and it won't be the last!
tortelloni and red wine tasted delicious but quite a small portion of pasta
Amazing food and value for money
Awesome food, nice casual setting, friendly staff. We were a big group and a bit slow to decide/order, but at no point did we feel rushed. Excellent pasta, great wines. There was a small mishap as they rushed out with our friend's birthday cake, when half of the group were missing from the table (and put the small plates out before the cake was brought out - which gave away the surprise). It's a small detail, but easy to avoid for future groups!
Great food at a reasonable cost
Ambience was lovely, and staff were accommodating and understanding. Maybe because the mains are meant to be paired with wine, but the cochiglie was too salty and the wild boar was not balanced in terms of flavour profile. The ingredients looked good on paper and the combinations sounded solid, so I think it’s just a matter of tweaking the recipe. If the flavour profile was meant to complement wines, i think it would’ve been nice to have the pasta cooked to suit non-alcohol drinkers too.
Delicious food and helpful staff - would be great if dinner reservations could be made.
Good service and great pasta !
Food was delicious and not too expensive and service was excellent
My boyfriend and I have already booked to come back with friends next week! Amazing!
Absolutely love this place and bring people here all the time. Just wish you could reserve for the evening as the wait can be so long especially for a few of you.
Great food, great service, lovely atmosphere - can’t recommend this place enough
The food was divine - from the fresh olives and crispy bread to the pork shoulder tortelloni that melted in my mouth - and the interior tastefully decorated. This might just be the best place to eat authentic pasta in London!
Lovely good helpful staff
The food was exquisite and the service impeccable. Highly recommend the taglierini, heaven on a plate!
Service very fast and everyone friendly. Amazing wine, good value and very good food.
It's always a pleasure to come to your restaurant. Great food, amazing price and super polite staff. Our waitress (can't remeber her name but she is pregnant) was really helpful and nice to us.
Service, wines, main courses all great. Starters left a bit to be desired. Overall keen to go back.
