Flame restaurant uses the very best locally sourced produce and a traditional fire-based cooking style. Their custom built 10 foot Asado Grill and Tandoori ovens bring cooking to life as you sit at your table overlooking their open kitchen.
Great pre theatre menu, good value, excellent service
The only thing I'd change is the music, it just seems like the wrong feel for the restaurant - too current and too noisy - too much like Now Thats What I call Music 97! I'd go for jazz.
Food was ok, music was a bit loud for people having dinner. The service was average, no one checked on us while we were eating or came near us at all. My friends food was cold and she couldn't eat it but no one asked was it ok when plates left the table. Quite disappointed as I heard good things. My food was ok. Not sure if I would return
Had a fab evening here. Food was really nice, cocktails amazing and all for such a very good price. The added live music was great too. Would definitely go back when we visit Belfast again
Table booked for 8:15, restaurant reconfirmed that day but still had to wait more than half an hour beyond that for our table. Tried to order Veuve Cliquot and Bollinger only to be told they weren’t in stock! (Why bother with them on the menu). Steaks were well flavoured and cooked to our liking but seemed a bit too fresh as they were tough.
This was our first visit to Flame and received a very warm welcome on arrival. The service was great and food was very well presented and tasted great. Good atmosphere for a midweek night and well located for parking.
Had a lovely lunch..very good food and staff very attentive.
Food was lovely and the staff were absolutely first class. Very friendly and attentive, and really added to the lovely warm atmosphere!
A lovely ambience and good food at an excellent price. First visit and benefited from the pre-theatre menu which was delicious! I'll definitely be back and recommending to my friends!
Great Pre-Theatre dining. Parents were up to visit from Dublin and thoroughly enjoyed. Will be back!!
My husband ordered the duo of beef which was far too small for the cost £27.00. This was disappointing and I believe several other people did complaine about the size of the portion for this choice. Overall the rest of the food was lovely and the service was very good.
Thoroughly enjoyed the meal at Flame. Great atmosphere, top class food. Definitely recommend.
Very disappointed with our night out due to poor service. Slow and impersonal! Been to flame several times and things have gone downhill! We were a group of 7 and a 10% service charge of over £20 was added to our bill- we definitely did not think it justified and if we had not been in a rush to leave we would have asked to speak to the manager about our experience and asked for the service charge to be removed. We were not asked if we wanted any drinks apart from what we ordered at the start of the night and we had been in the restaurant 90 minutes before our main courses arrived. We didn’t even bother with desserts because the service was so slow. When one of our group asked for the bill the waitress rolled her eyes at him! Extremely disappointed and can’t see us returning or recommending any time in the near future
Booked table for 5 and all of us left with smiles on our faces. I've given top marks in all categories as I could not find fault with any of the night. Good work with the restaurant, next time I am in Belfast I will definitely be back!
Great service, lovely food on theatre menu, would highly recommend
Excellent service, friendly staff.
Lovely meal as always
Excellent food served by friendly and professional staff.
meal was beautiful and waiter very helpful.
Starters excellent but mains a little underwhelming - burger was dry and seafood pasta not well flavoured. Dessert good. Overall, restaurant very noisy - difficult to talk at a table for two.
Great venue, good food and lively entertainment!
Another great experience at Flame. We were debating between flame and Berts but decided upon Flame. Both excellent food and drink and great service but the entertainment element, the singer in Flame tops it every time. Upon arrival we were a good 20 mins late but it wasn’t an issue, we were greeted with a smile and shown our table. The food was delicious, we had steak and all the trimmings along with a few bottles of lovely wine. The service was good which is something I’m normally quite critical about albeit the restaurant was extremely busy. We will definitely be back again and look forward to it. It’s not the cheapest of establishments but as the saying goes you get what you pay for and what you get when visiting Flame is worth every penny.
A really enjoyable dining experience in a restaurant buzzing with laughter and chat. Will definitely be back and would have no hesitation in recommending Flame to friends and colleagues.
This is our second visit and we enjoyed the experience as much as the first. We will definitely be back.
Pre-theatre meal & first time in restaurant. All good & would return :)
