Really good service & meal will certainly revisit when we’re next in the area.
A pleasant, enjoyable evening. Waiting staff friendly and helpful.
Our waitress was lovely, friendly and welcome!
The ladies serving were the best, they were very friendly when we arrived, shown to our table and order taken. Food arrived quickly and was equally devoured - great. It was fairly quiet when we arrived but lots of casual diners/drinker turned up and were greeting just as we were and all were accommodated. Great place, great staff and great food. We will be back. Thanks ladies x
Effervescent friendly staff. Good COVID practices. Food good and great value. Prefer the bar to the restaurant but COVID takes priority. Been before, will come again.
Great food and service as always !
Hi just a comment from my wife the portion was way to big and actually put her off her dinner
a warm welcome and pleasant interior, good choice of food and drink, would happily go again.
A warm welcome for both us and our dog. The tables were sensibly spaced. Food arrived in good time and was hot and delicious. We both had the pork belly and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Lovely food, all freshly cooked and definitely recommend the pecan brownie!
Lovely lunch great Covid precautions, will be back🙂
Felt safe and secure. Covid 19 conscious. Curteous and efficient service. Good food and beer. It was lunch time and not very busy but good experience. Top pub!
Food was really delicious. Our family all really enjoyed it and we will definitely be back.
Fantastic meal and service, Lulu looked after us really well. Thank you
Lovely pub, really lovely food and incredibly friendly and welcoming.
Very welcoming for us and our Labrador on a cold dark evening! Food excellent. Loved the strawberry and lime Eton Mess.
Thank you so much for the delicious lunch we had yesterday. The chowder was AMAZING! Despite the extra work caused by the powercut your staff continued to act with care, professionalism for which were are grateful. Next time we're in the area we will be back!!
Second time eating here, last time was pretty COVID so that the only reason I marked atmosphere down, through no fault of the pub. Meal absolutely delicious once again and such a generous portion for the price. Will definitely return again hopefully in better circumstances when the pub is back to its busy bustling best,
Thank you for an absolutely delicious lunch. The service was attentive and friendly, the food cooked and presented to perfection and the bill didn't break the bank!! We'll be back!
Nice venue, good food and friendly service.
We enjoyed the visit & meal. The tables were well planned for isolation. Will definitely visit again when we’re next in the area.
Given the current climate I found it strange that with so many empty tables we were sat next to another couple in the restaurant albeit socially distanced. It would have been nice to be asked if we wanted to sit anywhere else.
Lovely meal in a beautiful setting
Good food well presented and well above pub standard A shame theRe were not more people there as the atmosphere was affected by this.
This was a first visit, the experience certainly warrants further visits.
