We had a lovely evening in Fitzpatrics the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We where all very happy with our food.
Amazing food and service, staff are so lovely and attentive, would definitely return
Staff are so chatty, friendly and attentive, they definitely make the place! Food was great and the range of cocktails and drinks available was fantastic
Service is good but food is overpriced
Beautiful food in a really atmospheric location.
Second time we have used Fitzpatrick's for a day trip with our Women Centre and they were very accommodating. We look forward to our next visit.
Food is amazing, large portions... Staff are very welcoming & have excellent customer service. I always recommend this restaurant to family & friends, it never disappoints....
Love this place, its my 2nd visit, travelled for over an hour to get to it, well worth the trip. Clean plates all round :)
Great place. Food was excellent.
Fantastic food, a little bit on the expensive side, but there is no doubting the quality. Would highly recommend this to anyone
We have been here many times but first time under new management. Starters fine, children’s meals did not come out with adult starters as requested. Children had to wait until 20 minutes after our starter plates were cleared. Kids steak was raw/medium rather than the requested medium/well done. Chicken gougons were hard and dry, 2 portions ordered and neither child ate them. After being in the restaurant 1 hour and 50 minutes we finally received our main meal. And the restaurant wasn’t overly busy as at no given time were all tables full in the restaurant . My battered fish of the day had to be returned as fish was raw. It was returned to kitchen and confirmed by chef it wasn’t cooked. Things we never complained about was cold rice, chowder soup only had prawns and not a variety of fish in the dish as on menu though taste was amazing. Slow service, no maitre d checking service, poor quality of food all round. The fish was removed from the bill and we did receive a further 10% discount on our overall bill. Thank you, it was appreciated. And just to mention there was not a flower in sight outside! This is what Fitzpatricks is known for, the welcoming flower beds, pot plants, the lovely bright flower spreads. Disappointing on first arrival at the bland reception as we have grown used to the beautiful displays in the past. Will I return? Not in the near future as it has left a bitter taste in my mouth at the minute, but never say never. We have a family summer home in the area and frequent the restaurant regularly over the summer months, but will be skipping it for a while, hope the reviews and standards pick up as it really is too good of a gem to be let down by it’s kitchen staff who have always shone in the past. Waiting staff we very helpful and efficient on all requests.
I loved Fitzpatricks and have been visiting here for years now bit yesterday I took my parents and was very very disappointed much so that I don't think I will return. We waited nearly 1 hour on starters and kids meals. My Girls were starving. When the starter came was only lukewarm to which the waitress kept apologising no good to me. Mains cam out potatoes very dry and the peppered sauce tasted like curry sauce and so watery. The waitress then told me they were short staffed and then she told me they were getting the back log down outside. I hadon't booked a table outside people were having a drink. The waitress knocked kids meals off the bill which was literally rubbish. To be honest probably should have got the meal for nothing plus the staff were turning people away that had not booked saying they would be waiting 1 hour I noticed loads of tables were free. They were not busy. Very disappointed as it's an over priced restaurant.
Never fails to deliver, good food, and good service
Very busy day but still had to wait 35mins for starter
Great venue.... find of the year
Great welcome and waitresssing Will definitely be back thank you
Lovely venue My first time here Starters where lovely french onion soup and veg soup Both had steak as the main. Not a great steak quite tough not very flavoursome Chips where fab. Long wait between courses. Lovely staff all very friendly and helpful. They apologised for the delay.
Excellent meal. The flavors of the food were delightful especially when there is a large group and everyone was happy.
Menu changed from last month , steak was smaller than advertised (2 10oz fillets where ordered and one was half the size of the other ) and everything was an extra , all that came with the steak was mushrooms , this wasn’t the case on previous visits , I won’t be back in a hurry
Brilliant place to dine..brilliant food
7 of us had Sunday lunch and it was delicious. Service was prompt
