Great food, service and atmosphere
Excellent meal , great service and lovely surroundings
The food was mediocre for the price paid. Almost €20 for a run of the mill, mass produced, Sunday dinner that would normally cost €12 in any other establishment.
Beautiful gardens and outdoor surroundings, smell of the seaside walking into restaurant, old fashioned vibe inside, service was excellent and food was gorgeous will definitely be back !
We love Fitzpatrick’s we come all the way from ballymena !!! Fantastic food every time and customer service is always perfect !!
The seafood chowder was very thin and lacked the usual pieces of fish that bulk it out, very disappointing as I did regard Fitzpatricks as the best chowder in Ireland.
Can at the front desk doesn't have the necessary hospitality skill to be at the front desk. Not a smile or friendly word to be found. Savoury food (mains etc) were fabulous. Desserts were a huge let down. As a baker myself and with experience working a dessert counter in a successful restaurant, I know high quality dessert, and this missed the mark. Sticky toffee pudding was dry inside and burnt. The kids 'sundae' was dry chunks of brownie topped with a bit of sauce and a scoop of ice cream. It was miserable. A sundae should be layers of indulgence and appeal, not a tall glass full of dried up pieces of brownie. Disaster. When we complained, Cian said "well what would you expect? That's what we serve!" And it wasn't even taken off the bill.
Excellent service and excellent food
Wonderful food and atmosphere. This is our favourite restaurant and well worth the trip. We have been many times and are never disappointed!
Great location food and service. A little bit on the pricey side however.
Lovely to see Fitzpatricks open again, food excellent as always, staff very attentive and welcoming despite their young ages however we were brought other diners drinks & meals but this was politely handled & rectified quickly.
Marvelous place, we shall be back, for sure!!!
Fantastic trip to Fitzpatrick’s as always. The food and staff were excellent as always. I would highly recommend the wings for starter, excellent every time
Fitzgerald’s Is a lovely welcoming pub and restaurant full of character. The food is fabulous and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend it.lpuise
Excellent welcome and delicious food
Easy to book a table .Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Staff friendly
The most delicious risotto I have ever had! Lobster risotto 👌
Disappointed have visited previously and returned on Monday for my sons 21st .. steak had to be returned .. over cooked. I had said on booking it was birthday celebration no acknowledgement of that during our visit.
Food lovely. Plenty of choice on menu. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Bring back the mixed bread rolls, miss them
Really enjoyed my meal in quaint surroundings Waiting staff were very attentive & friendly An added bonus was that we were welcome to stay overnight in our Motorhome which allowed us to enjoy time in the bar after the meal
Loved the decor, particularly the reminiscence items/displays. Food was amazing, my only complaint would be with pavlova as it could have been fresher. Lovely atmosphere and good value for money with the choice of Sunday set menu. Although staff seemed polite and friendly, I feel our experience was let down by slow waiting service from ordering food to table clearance. We were a booked party of 8 and it was cosy but space seemed inadequate. I would return in the hope of more space and faster service.
