About Fish Restaurant
The picture-perfect FISH restaurant sits nestled into The Hilton on Auckland’s waterfront, full of light and serenity. The menu uses fresh seafood, sustainably caught daily and supporting local suppliers, served in a way to suit any taste. Take a seat on the sundeck waterside, or cosy up indoors with a glass of your favourite wine.
An absolutely fabulous restaurant for a special occasion. The food was delicious: starting with some oysters, and moving on to some perfectly cooked fish, we had a wonderful meal. The hotel bar downstairs is also a great place to come for a pre or post dinner drink. I'd highly recommend FISH!
What a perfect place for “grownups” to celebrate. From the generous offer of a free carpark on arrival, to the welcome, to the view, to the excellent meal and friendly, knowledgeable service, to the gift of a birthday dessert for the guest of honour... we absolutely recommend Fish to you.
We had the special lunch menu and brought my Mum and Dad down from Orewa for a treat and had my Australian friend with us too- we all really enjoyed the meal very much thank you and the service was excellent
The service was excellent with friendly wait staff. Both our meals were lovely and very tasty.
We had a wonderful time at Fish!! Priceless view, delicious food and excellent customer services with Tristan:-) Highly recommended!!!
The food was delicious, the service was fantastic! Perfect for a special occasion, we usually go to FISH for our wedding anniversary and love it.
Food was stunning, service fantastic, surroundings fabulous even in the pouring rain - felt like we were on a cruise ship with all round views!
We had a fantastic time. The services and the quality of food was second to none. We had our 30th wedding anniversary and Daniel made us feel very special. Thank you. Lee
Our party of 4 thoroughly enjoyed lunch here. Food was great (mains ordered were Salmon, steak, kahawai and cloudy bay clams). I love calms and these were done well, though I expected a bit more flavour in the sauce. Especially when it was accompained by a balanced amount of rustic bread, mopping up the sauce with it only tasted salty. Desserts were a winner ( choc mousse and crack pie ) and must mention both flavours of sorbet that accompanied the desserts were delicious. Service was excellent and a great view to match!
1. Great View and atmosphere. 2. Fine dining experience. 3. Hopefully more steak options in the future.
The service was very poor. Felt like we were ignored once seated and had to seek waiters out to get attention and action. The restaurant wasn’t busy this evening, it was disappointing.
First time visit and had the most impeccable dining experience with such amazing view on a beautiful day. Wait staff were all pleasant, professional and helpful in particular Jacob and Tristan. 5 star service and ambience indeed.
Lovely place lovely views while enjoying the food. Great service. Thanks.
Let down / menu says tiger prawns but we were served shrimp salad instead, and the overcooked cheesballs... that aside, tastefactor and price wise i would score a 7/10, and highly recommend to all celebrating a special moment to give this place a try during the day when the weather is nice. Price range average $25+.
Absolutely delicious food, gorgeous views and amazing service too.
Food was nice. Good atmosphere. Waiter was a little bit pushy throughout the night.
Went there 3 weeks before with wife. 3 course menu was taste perfect and awesome both of us were satisfied well. So i re-visit yesterday with more friends because i recommended and food quality went down so badly... very much disappointed.. Maybe chef staff changed..?
Calamari, sides and dessert was delicious. Unfortunately our mains and tiger prawns were greatly underwhelming. Wait staff were polite and helpful however had to be called upon with long waits to be served.
Everything was really good, the food delicious, the service really kind and the view wow amazing. Thank you very much for all
Lovely environment, food and staff. Definitely a place I would take my partner for a nice meal.
Warm and friendly service, fabulous view, stunning food, great value for money, nothing more I can ask for. Highly recommended!
Excellent food, service and view, could not fault it, a great experience!
Very professional restaurant on all fronts.
We made an online booking for a table and were surprised to see that we had a time limit on the table. We phoned to see if we could move our arrival time and extend the table availability time and after some debate were given an extra 15 mins. On arrival the restaurant was beautifully quiet and the greeting staff were most perplexed by the arrangements we tried to explain - the restaurant was mostly empty (we were one of three tables) and it stayed that way all afternoon - it’s seems the complicated booking negotiations were all very unnecessary afterall. We were looked after by a really nice guy who was engaging and entertaining and helpful - fabulous!. It was a late lunch and the food was good (loved the caramelised butter!!). However after lunch was cleared we realised that we had been sitting unattended for a bit with empty wine glasses and no offer of dessert. So one of our group decided to go find some service. Turned out the kitchen had closed and while it was indeed 4pm, we were disappointed not to have been told this was about to happen or that our waiter was departing (assume his shift had finished). It was an amazing spot, exceptional views and we really enjoyed a very relaxing afternoon, however the odd conclusion and the complicated booking arrangements did take the shine off the whole experience a little.
I enjoyed the meal and was pleased with the pricing. The only thing I think should be improved were the potatoes, but everything was on point, especially the green salad. I loved if
