Serving the freshest fish & shellfish direct from the boats from around the South Island of New Zealand. Named one of New Zealand’s Top 50 restaurants and a recent recipient of a coveted Cuisine magazine Hat, this is the place for seafood in Queenstown.
Delicious food Great service Very highly recommend
It was my second time to dine in. The oysters were fresh and nice. The main was awesome too. The staff were kind and attentive. I will try other menu soon.
Starters of Abolone and Tuna were to die for, main of the lemon sole was pretty good, desert of pavlova was way too sweet and not great.
Very disappointed, seafood chowder hardly any taste, runny prob just cream, and some smoked fish, then blue cod main, would have been $28 half plate of chips, and 1 piece of blue cod nothing else, looked terrible worse than a basic pub meal,
Definitely the best fish restaurant in town. Amazing service, delicious food, nice atmosphere and good wine. We will be back :)
We had a delicious dinner at Fishbone. The salads were fantastic, as was the tuna appetizer. It was fun to sit by the open kitchen and watch the chefs. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends.
Lovely, great food and service. Next time I’m going to try the fish and chips (yum yum, get in my belly)
Fishbone was great for lunch. We both got a different main and shared to get the most from our dining experience. Will definitely be back again for lunch and dinner next time. Great food and great service.
The mains were really good. The scallops were fresh however too small. The sea urchin pasta was nice and creamy.
Fish was delicious! Service was terrific. Loved the place.
Delicious food. Fish and chips (hold) was best we had in 10 day trip. Generous portions. Friendly staff.
Shaun was very attentive and gave us great service
Visiting Queenstown from the USA - loved the restaurant. Eating outside. Food was very good and the service was excellent. Will definitely recommend to others.
Excellent fish cooked with care, wonderful seafood chowder and very friendly, welcoming service!
Food was just OK. Fairly quick service, but food too salty and too much butter poured over the food.
Sublime, every thing was delicious
It took an hour for the main course to arrive . The prawn tacos dish smelled off . It was below expectation
Our server was very attentive
The service and food were lovely although they were sold out of 3 dishes on the menu...to be expected as it’s all fresh fish but my family only eats fish and not seafood so was more limiting to us. Everything we did order was delicious and the wine list is on point!
Chowder and the Mussells were splendid
scallops are so nice!
This was seafood cooked to perfection. A taste sensation The prices are very reasonable for the quality of what is presented. The staff are very helpful with their knowledge of the different fish.
Lovely food. Fun atmosphere. Great for seafood!
World class food in a lovely environment. We were in Queenstown for two evenings and were thrilled to find such a friendly, happy restaurant with such imaginative, beautifully presented and excellently cooked food. A must visit if you are in town.
