About FF Westend
Flatiron Steak Restaurant
Had an absolutely wonderful meal at FF for my fiancé’s birthday last week. Steaks were delicious and the service was fantastic - Gavin was particularly great (so glad I went with his profiterole desert recommendation, they were lovely). We will definitely be back soon, thanks for such a lovely night!
Our waitress was fab! Very welcoming and explained the menu in detail. She recommended the flat iron steak and the haggis bonbons- both were great! The steak was extremely tender- we will definitely be back!
Staff very friendly and helpful. Didn’t realise when I booked Scotland was playing Ireland. Had great afternoon watching rugby
As always a great meal, good atmosphere and fantastic service.
Limited simple menu Friendly staff We were allocated a poorly positioned table despite asking for a good table when booking
Excellent meal! Lovely staff
Much better than anticipated
Excellent food and quick service. Very well matched beers and wines. Will definitely be back and recommending to others 😀
Really really good service! Was able to easily accommodate a change in reservation at the last minute. Food was excellent and that mac and cheese was amazing. Been meaning to come for ages and glad I finally managed.
Great prices, staff and food
Food and service was excellent and great value for money. Great atmosphere and liked the retro style
First time visit to FF and can’t wait to go back. Service was excellent from start to end. Food was lovely, we had special Surf n Turf, beef was cooked perfect and prawns were delicious. Sides equally just as lovely. Albeit a little more expensive for a large wine but with such reasonably priced food, no complaints. Thank you!!!!
Really great wee spot and the steaks are to die for! Great cocktails and fab wine list too. My favourite steak place in Glasgow
Friendly staff, lovely surprise of 50% off, tasty food... only negative was that it wasn’t very warm.
Genuinely excellent. Service, food and ambience all 10/10.
Hi, food and service was fantastic as always, thanks.
Fantastic food and service.
Been eating here regularly since it opened last year and it really has become one of our favourites. Great food, value and atmosphere always.
Two friends and I dined here at Hogmanay. From the minute we walked in we were looked after brilliantly by Niall, Rosie and the team. We skipped starters but all had the Flat Irons. Each one cooked to perfection with delicious sides and sauces. Three big hungry boys I'm afraid to say the steaks were barely set on the plate before the lot was gone. Cocktails also deserve a mention. Adding Hazelnut to the espresso martini is inspired. Thank you FF for making the start of 2019 such a good one.
Fab as always!!!! X
I wasn’t overly thrilled after my visit here. Our table was not in either of the dining areas, instead it was in the corridor between the two beside the toilet, it where you want to spend your Saturday evening. The waitress came to take our order with no check pad and instead had to remember it - came back twice to double check she had it right. A medium and a medium rare steak was ordered, a medium and a well done arrived at our table, nobody asked how the meal was. Unfortunelty will not be returning even though it is on my door step.
fantastic night, great friendly staff. will definitely be back
Attended the Hogmanay party. We were a group of 3. We enjoyed our food, service was excellent. We felt the night was somewhat spoiled by the DJ. Mabye we are just getting old. Almost everyone had to shout to get him to stop for the bells. He then played a few Scottish anthems, the whole place was singing, and the atmosphere was amazing. Ten minutes later we were back onto soul train on the screens. People sitting next to us thought exactly the same. We were promised a party atmosphere, what we got was a DJ playing soul music to go with what was being shown on the big screens. In summing up, we enjoyed our night, we made the most of it. Our party of three, and the couple next to us, thought the music being played was shocking for a Hogmanay party in Glasgow. In fact, my partner went and asked the DJ for some Proclaimers or anything to get the atmosphere going, he just refused. I’d be interested to hear what other people thought ??
