About Ferryhill House Hotel
Welcome to the Ferryhill House Hotel…your family friendly hotel, bar & restaurant based in the heart of the city centre.
Set within our private gardens, The Ferryhill House Hotel is the perfect setting to to enjoy relaxing drink, fine food and a comfortable place to rest your head.
Our historic building, formerly an elegant family home, boasts a large restaurant with conservatory serving an extensive menu of home cooked food and a traditional public bar area, both of which have been stylishly refurbished in the last few months.
We also have nine en-suite bedrooms and an outdoor sun terrace, complete with a children’s play park.
Bit surprised no-one contacted me to say that you weren’t able to fulfil the booking due to Government regulations although if relevant individuals have had to be furloughed and unable to deal with the reservations system I guess it could be that. Looking forward to rebooking hopefully for September.
Totally happy with our experience here. All staff were excellent in their approach to self distancing and hygiene. Hope to come back here soon.
Really good setup during the current situation.
Always my first choice in Aberdeen for great food & atmosphere!
Amazing service as usual
Even with a pandemic, everything was spot on. Lovely afternoon catching up with work colleagues
Great food and lovely staff. Staff were very aware of hygiene and current regulations. Look forward to returning soon.
Excellent - favourite for family meals.
Went to Ferryhill with my family to celebrate my sons exam results. Felt very safe and social distancing measures were in place. Food was lovely and getting £30 of the bill for the government dine out scheme made it even better.
Always amazing food and service. Just perfect.
This was the first time I had been out since lockdown restrictions were eased and was impressed by how it was all done. Food was also very good.
Excellent food, and the venue is ideally set up to easily facilitate social distancing.
Could take further measures to protect both staff and customers against coronavirus: temperature checks, masks for staff, order using app rather than menus and staff coming to the table
Disappointed none of your staff, outside or inside were wearing masks. I thought this was mandatory.
Had a lovely meal. Service & Food first class
Great service great food. I was just surprised none of the staff were wearing masks/visors and that the tables outside could of been a little further apart instead of back to back to someone.
I was really impressed with how you have adapted things in line with government guidance and how you explained everything that was in place on our arrival. The food and service was still as great as it always has been. It was lovely to get out for a meal with my family again and feel a bit more ‘normal’ again.
Despite the poor weather, the venue was fairly busy on Sunday 2 August. Whilst the service was slightly better than a previous visit in July, once again there seemed to be no intervention when clients were not social distancing etc. I was alarmed to watch a waitress clean a nearby table with blue paper roll and use the same piece on another table! No seats were cleaned. Given the current local virus outbreak, surely the staff should be extra vigilent and focussed on hygiene, not lapsing? Other than a contact number when booking, no other contact details were taken.
Very well managed with social distancing outside.
Food and drink was gd only let down was the men's toilet
Strange times at the moment ,,, but was a nice evening and staff were very attentive
We were most impressed with all aspects from the booking to the organisation and service. We will definitely book againp
