Sitting comfortably on the knife edge of innovation, Euro's mission is to keep New Zealand in step with global food directions. The restaurant can claim many firsts in the local hospitality scene, including first to bring Alaskan King Crab and Atlantic scallops to Auckland. Most notably, Euro became the first-ever New Zealand restaurant to make the world's top 50 in Conde Nast Traveler magazine.
Oscar who looked after our table was fantastic as always!! Food and service was outstanding!
Excellent service, could trust our server to make good wine matches
Very disappointing. We were regular customers in the early years of Euro and have attended Euro 4 times in the past 3 months. Our most recent visit was the worst. The lamb main was abysmal, tough to eat and a sub par cut of meat. The prawns were overcooked not deveined and also poor quality produce, we could extrapolate but all in all it was not value for money and did not deliver. We expect more of Euro, you can do better than this. We hope you improve and bring your standard up to what it was in your heyday. Service was excellent, the food was not. And finally, by definition it is impossible to have banana marmalade, do not insult your diners' intelligence with catch phrases.
This was our second time here and whilst everything was fantastic as before the service lacked a little warmth. On our first visit the service, the recommendations and the unbelievable warmth and kindness were outstanding. We will visit again but will be a little guarded with recommending to others.
Had an international party of 11, from USA, Switzerland, South Africa, Auzzie & NZ (including Ex-pats). Jason brilliantly attentive and entertaining, food outstanding as always, especially the Pork Belly main and Feijoa Cheese cake desert, the latter which was sampled as a fruit half the table had never heard of, but were blown-away by the combo of flavours and exotic taste. Still our go-to venue for overseas visitors in a superb and vibrant location, thanks Euro. Neil
very very disappointment experience. we bought first table from app. the size of dish was very small and very average taste compare with fish restaurant by using the same first table voucher. the staff who serviced us was very impatient . The menu designed for first table , so i guess the size of food was small to matching the half price, rather than real value offer. i am very regret to bought this restaurant voucher and feel sorry to my friends who were invited to join me after i had a such wonderful dining experience at fish restaurant .
The food was delicious and the presentation was amazing! The service was by far the best Ive ever had, the reservation man was very accomodating when I was late for my graduation dinner. And the team was warm especially towards my children and I was thankful for that. Ive lost both my parents so you made this graduation dinner special.
Fantastic service, the food and wine match recommendations were superb including an item off menu.
Everything you would expect from a fine dining restaurant
Food was amazing, and the service was great. However, I did feel that the food is slightly overpriced given there are similar quality offerings out there which are better priced.
Great service & we love the back corner booth as you can talk there. very nice.
It was great place :) hope to have a course meal next time
Great food but didnt like the way we were 'fastracked' through the evening. If we hadnt resisted we would have been out in less than an hour for a three course meal. It is OK for great food to be slow food and to enjoy the experience with longer gaps to savour the food and wine. Perhaps would be understandable if there were queues waiting but there werent any. Forgive me if rapid service is a NZ thing but it spoiled the evening for us as international visitors. Also please be careful with the charring and smoking applied to many dishes. Its a fine line especially when applied to seafood. One final comment please please get some more wine lists. We ordered our wine by the glass and getting hold of let alone keeping a wine list was a drama. Like I say great food but let people enjoy it with a little less time stress. I dont believe you want to be a cafe!!!
Yesterday our lovely gegoriaus server was an absolute delight! Pandering to Grandma’s every whim with his wit and style made it perfect for her 89th birthday! Bluff oysters were outstanding and the fod snapper, sounded like every bite was heaven! Thanks fl
I think you are bluffing on your bluff oysters . Very disappointed. In that you pacific oysters are the same price and you are so called sold out of the bluff ones . An no bubbles champagne either. Very false advertising. ☹️☹️
Let me be honest and say Euro is not a cheap dining experience. You pay for what you get and what you get is the very best in service, atmosphere (especially on a sunny day at lunchtime) and simply inspired food. We went mad and drank champagne because it was that kind of day. As for the aforementioned expense, we got great value for our money in every way.
Wonderfully consistent service and gorgeous food when you’re looking to treat yourselves
Booked online, selected the 'bluff oysters' option. Arrived on time only to hear that all bluff were sold out. then we waited 10-15 minutes to be served water and given drink menus after someone sat us down and asked whether we wanted still or sparkling water. Then our entree was served and we had to ask our server whether our drinks are still coming to receive two glasses of the same drinks after nearly 15 minutes of ordering them. nice food, good atmosphere, service below expectation.
Truly a great evening including the walking to and from home . Food was delicious and given the deal we were in for a great family treat . Staff well trained and easy manner helped. Couldn’t fault . Food was Devine
Reputation is well deserved.
Best dinner ever on Nee Zealand!
