Sitting on the stunning Auckland waterfront is Euro, one of Auckland’s most recognised fine dining institutions–and for good reason. The warm and welcoming dining room sends you into a state of relaxation whilst enjoying the vast wine list, freshest seafood, and luxurious desserts on offer. With chef Gareth Stewart at the helm, you already know it’s a winner.
One criticism would be the crumpets with the salmon pastrami. I adore crumpets but they were too soft in this dish.
Delightful lunch with fabulous food and service. The waiter had excellent knowledge of the menu and the wine list, we were very happy for him to make the decisions for us for wine matches which were all perfect.
Tariq was brilliant, perfectly paced service to enjoy a relaxing lunch.
Superb lunch experience. Tremendous food and atmosphere.
Great food and service, highly recommended
Great food and excellent service. Highly recommended.
Oskar & Edward are a real asset to the team thank you for a great evening, Linda : Always a pleasure to visit Euro.
The 3 course meal is good value but unfortunately the 15% Labour Day surcharge made it less of a deal.
The food was amazing and so was the waitress.
Food, atmosphere and service were all great. The only thing we were not too happy about was that we ordered "Aperol" from the drinks menu which says $11 but when we got the bill, it says $20 for each of our Spritz Aperol. We would have still ordered the drink if we knew it would cost $20 but now we were left feeling a bit being ripped off, as we did point on the menu for that $11 Aperol drink and even asked the waiter about the drink before we ordered. I think there should be more clarity on the menu.
Awesome customer service from the time we arrived. Food was delish! From the basket of fresh bread to the succulent beef and mash I'm always looking for a good fried calamari and this place nailed it. Would definitely recommend and we are definitely coming back :)
The food flavourings were a real highlight for me. I have never gone to a restaurant and not added some sort of seasoning. it was spot on. pork was very tender, service warm and friendly with a personal touch. Best of all, you are not jammed in with a load of other diners, there is plenty of space around the tables. I will be back.
When we entered the place me and my partner were felt excited to try their foods (maybe because we're both hungry). Expectations were high given the price of the food isn't what we always spend everyday for a meal. We were asked about our drinking water preference then few minutes after we ordered our drinks and foods. I had one of their cocktails. I had one sip and it was great until I found a hair. I called the attention of the staff who immediately apologized and said he'll get me a new drink. I didn't find a hair in my new drink. Whew! I was a little bit disappointed with what happened. Some might think that it is only a 'hair'. I would totally understand it if i was in a food court or fastfood chain restaurant. Anyways....foods that we ate were perfect, delicious, and amazing. We tried their desserts too and it was yum! (Who knows it there was a hair or foreign object in those foods).
Great food and service.
Really lovely service and food
Excellent on all areas Definitely recommend
An excellent lunch served by friendly staff
Great Service and the crab menu very good value
We came for the scallop lunch in September which was superb. The crab lunch special was even better really outstanding! It was wonderful thank you Chef and staff at Euro! Ps bring on the Crayfish specials!😁
Our dinner experience last night was amazing from the time we were greeted by the restaurant manager, the the friendly bartender that made us a surprise, yummy cocktail and our bubbly waitress who attended to us. The food was great, the flavors were amazing. We had 4 starters and shared our mains and dessert between the 2 of us and it was all absolutely fantastic. Well Done Euro!
First time dining at EURO with my family and some friends from London...... it’s just fantastic as it is.
We both enjoyed delicious meals !
We arrived at Euro for lunch on a cold windy day and were treated at the door and were asked where wanted to sit, we chose the window view looking to the water. Our service was soo good and helpful as we went through the menu, for me the Treacle Tart was my favourite.A very enjoyable experience all round will come again Richard Paula
We were really disappointed with our visit to Euro. Firstly the service was quite average and it took around 15 minutes before the first person came up to our table. Secondly, the food was nowhere near the quality we thought it would be. We tried the three course scallop menu and the first course which was the soup was cold and the slider bun was extremely dry. We were all gutted as we had never been to Euro before and most likely won’t be returning.
