Very professional. Food and Service.Only let down by the atmosphere. Being too dark to see outside and the room itself is stark and characterless. Suggest some outside lighting to add some interest
We opted for the dugustation menu with paired wine to celebrate my mother in laws birthday. Wow! The combination of great food and careful attention from the wait staff made for a very special evening. A table visit from the chef and and extra treat made us feel super special. Will be supporting this local restaurant again for sure.
Zero atmosphere really disappointed in this restaurant considering the price
We enjoyed the degustation menu. The produce was fresh, tasty and well presented. The duck was particularly delicious. I would have liked the wait staff to tell us what we were eating with each course but it didn't really matter. The staff were great and the meal was well paced. It was lovely to be able to talk quietly.
Went there for our anniversary and it took 30-45 min between each course.. the food was over cooked and there’s no exceptional view. It is not worth the amount you pay!
New menu - was great!! Don't often have fine dining, but this was pretty good for the value after looking at other places! Would recommend for a nice (but fairly expensive) meal out.
Excellent food and service would go there again next time I am in the Blue Mountains. Cheryl W
Great service and food and a nice acknowledgement of our anniversary.
The scallop,Waygu steak and chocolate cake we had were beautiful!
Degustation menu was very small servings we ended up eating room service afterwards. The price was too expensive for what you actually get
Steak could have been a little larger
Thanks for a great dining experience, one to remember.
Was a wonderful experience for my girlfriends birthday in the blue mountains. The staff were professional and friendly. It was a real fine dining experience with wholesome food.
The staff were delightful and welcoming. The food was delicious, although I have to say the portion sizes were quite small. Thank you for a really lovely evening.
Food and service was great. We just felt being a fine dining restaurant we were tucked away. The restaurant should be located in some great place in the resort with a view. The music playing during the night was a little dull and old fashioned also. Made us a bit tired.
Great service and food. Lovely atmosphere
We celebrated 2 family birthdays by staying at the Fairmont. As Accor Club members we enjoyed our complementary welcome drinks in the bar which was comfortable with the men watching the ashes on the big screens - there is a happy hour 5-6pm. Our rooms were as described when booked- good view of bush and partial valley, clean, well appointed, quiet although the hotel was busy with families on a kids eat free deal. Ask for a higher floor for a better view. Our .shower water pressure was good, air conditioning was perfect. We ate in Eucalypt Restaurant. Although a limited menu, it was well priced 2 or 3 course options. Our Accor card gave us 50% discount on our food for dinner and also breakfast which was also fresh, tasty and not too noisy - we particularly liked the make your own juice option at breakfast. The grounds are extensive with tennis courts, lake, waterfall, outdoor pool. We didn't visit the indoor pool etc. In the American resort style, the convenience shop has provisions for those wanting to buy snacks, drinks, lollies as well as swimwear, gifts and more. Although we didn't have children in our group, we were very impressed with the activities provided - cinema, carousel, mini train, pony rides. We would definitely return.
A great atmosphere for a night out without the kids celebrating an anniversary. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful
Coming in with no expectations I was amazed at the experience. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was delightful. The space was not overcrowded, had a good layout of tables allowing for a sense of privacy in your own dining. Made for a great night. A definite for any occasion.
expected experienced waiting staff but the young people there were nice but clearly untrained in how to operate in a fine dining environment
A fantastic option for anyone with dietary needs! Gluten free and dairy free options are not an issue at all!! I would recommend the wait staff suggest for the ordering of sides when taking customers meals as they potatos my husband ordered as a side were amazing!!
Absolutely delicious meal & fantastic service, we’ll be back.
The food was certainly the highlight of the night (which is not a bad thing I guess) but I found the location and atmosphere of the restaurant incredibly disappointing considering the other options available. I was not staying at the hotel so I just assumed there would be views. Eucaplypt, is the fine dining option of The Fairmont and for me should be positioned in the best location with the beautiful Blue mts view as the back drop not in a poorly lit bunker type room adjacent to a function room which was incredibly boisterous. This is probably why at 8pm on Saturday night there were only five other tables taken. The service was attentive and the food very good, but it felt like it took a long time but maybe that was because I was looking to leave as soon as possible. If the restaurant was located where Embers is situated I would be back in a heart beat but not again in its current location
Jamison's and Embers restaurants are far better for food and service. The buffet has much more variety than sea food if your partner doesn't like sea food. The Fairmont accommodation, service and location are excellent.
