Ethos is a self-service restaurant located in the heart of central London, moments from Oxford Circus. We specialise in deliciously different, meat-free and vegan cuisine that tastes as good as it is for you.
Our award winning interiors showcase abundant displays of beautiful, carefully selected dishes from around the globe, we are open from breakfast through to lunch, dinner and everything in between.
We operate a Pay by Weight System for Lunch and Dinner, which gives our guests unrivalled flexibility in choice and price.
In the evening, we offer a fuller table service with drinks served to the table.
Amazing as usual, I was so excited that I was coming back, my third visit, I would love the recipes
When I reserved a table at Ethos Restaurant I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is lovely and the food is truly scrumptious. The concept is simple. Pick up a plate and choose from an amazing and tasty array of vegan and vegetarian food, then go to the till. Plate gets weighed and you pay per weight. It is reasonably price for the quality you get. The staff are warm and welcoming. Had a really great time. I will definitely be coming back again. Strongly recommend this restaurant to non-vegetarians (as I am usually a meat eater), vegans and vegetarians.
Very average food and overpriced for self service
Excellent - would definitely recommend and come back again myself!
Cakes were amazing and staff were lovely
Love coming to Ethos!!!! Wonderful vibe and love the food!!
Great vegetarian food.
lovely atmosphere, very attentive staff my only negative is that lunchtime menu is a lot nicer than dinner - maybe you can include some of the same foods in both?
Great food and lovely energy at Ethos as always. Their desserts are also MAGICAL!
Lovely to be a, vegetarian and have so much choice
Great location. Loads of choice.
Such an awesome restaurant. Beautifully designed. Lovely staff and utterly delicious food.
As always a good meal, friendly service etc. Two comments: I had imagined the Mint and Lime mocktail would be made with fresh lime and mint, esp for £4.50 but it was a rather lurid green colour though the taste was not too bad. Have mentioned before that the hot dishes need to be hotter. Otherwise as good as usual.
A riot of gorgeous vegetarian and vegan food. We love it!
I have never been to a veggie/vegan restaurant before and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was fantastic and next time we come to London, shall definitely be booking your restaurant again
Food was amazing except the macaroni cheese which had turmeric in - everyone in our group of 8 left this.
Food is always delicious, there are so many options to choose from! I warmly recommend to anyone looking for a nice lunch or dinner spot in Central London with fantastic vegetarian & vegan food.
Thanks - great booking!
Fantastic choice of food (lots of vegan options). Nice restaurant ambience - spacious and light. Great place for lunch.
Would have been nice to have some hot options that were hot. A real mix of some good flavours and more uninteresting dishes. Lovely space and hardworking, attentive staff.
Love the food. A good place to meet and great to be able to choose vegan food easily
The food was delicious and the dessert selection was devine!!
As eve went on restaurant got very noisy!
Sadly we had to wait for 35mins for our table to be free, despite having booked in advance. By the time we started to eat it was 20.45 and the food was cold and slighlty dry as it was late in the day. The selection of desserts looked great - but they ar individually priced (something we found out at the tills!) rather than by weight, as the rest of the food. And we couldn’t really savour them as, although the restaurant closes at 10pm, the body language of the waiting staff was clearly asking us to stand up and leave, at 9.45pm ... it was our first time at Ethos and sadly, it did disappoint us
We were eating towards the end of lunchtime service I guess. It was fine - some of the food was delicious, but the staff seemed tired, and the person with whom we paid at the counter was really miserable. Our plates were charged at the same price, even though they clearly contained a very different weight of food, but fine - it wasn't hugely expensive so I didn't bother complaining. The last two times I visited Ethos it felt like a really special occasion, but yesterday the standards seemed to slip somewhat. I'll be back, with my fingers crossed for next time!
