About Embers Restaurant
Experience a fusion of local flavours in a cozy, casual atmosphere as you dine by the iconic stone fireplace. Enjoy a light lunch, relax with a three course dinner, or grab a quick bite with friends and family… it’s up to you.
Our all-day menu is perfectly paired with a refreshing glass or two of local and international wines, as you soak in the rich mountain atmosphere of the comforting setting with a backdrop of soaring floor to ceiling Jamison Valley views. Embers Restaurant is suitable for family dining with a children’s menu available.
Congratulations to Sandeep and his chef for looking after us so well on the occasion of Doreen's birthday. As usual the entire evening was very pleasant, thanks to the staff of Embers.
As we find every time we stay at this Property, the Embers service and quality were of a very high standard. We found the staff were working under very difficult conditions with ALL wearing masks and gloves making us feel very safe. Thankyou to all.
We have been here many time and to be honest, this was by far the worst experience for us. Breakfast was honestly a disgrace. Working in Events, I was thoroughly disappointed. The food came out cold and looked terrible. Service was slow, the staff looked frantic, under staffed and running around. the hot drinks ie tea And coffee arrived way after our food. We know covid has effected certain aspects but honestly the Hotel has let itself down. We didn’t even attempt to have breakfast at the hotel the following day. Such a shame standards have slipped. I give this feedback in hope to improve the standards.
We were booked for 9.30am breakfast Our order was taken at 10.20 We received a meal at 10.50am Not good enough...
2 small pieces of gnocchi & tepid soup for starter and several ingredients ‘swapped’ on the beef cheek main. Would’ve been fine if provided the heads up, but no mention made. Lovely tasting though which is main thing.
Excellent food, wine and service.
I Always forget his name. He has been there for years unusual name .Could be the manager if not he should be .
We waited far too long for our meals (Over an hour), and when we pointed it out, staff admitted they’d given our meals to another table, who ordered and arrived after us. Food was over-priced and underwhelming & despite the problems, we weren’t offered anything by way of compensation. Shoddy.
Friendly staff and amazing food.
Excellent food, service and ambience . Enjoyed our dinner and outlook over the valley. An excellent and professional restaurant, highly recommended.
We enjoyed both lunch and dinner from the quite diverse menu. Both sittings were excellent with very attentive staff and the chef prepared food especially for my wife who is allergic to garlic and onions. We will return again soon.
Amazing staff, amazing food, highly recommend
We are always made to feel like VIPs when dinning at Embers. Keep up the good work
Excellent all round Value for money is great when you get two for one 👍👍😬
Fabulous. The place is beautiful. They certainly don’t build them like that anymore
Great Service and food was fantastic. Fire was a great addition to a weld and cold day.
Great Service and food was fantastic.
Friendly staff & a relaxing atmosphere.
The restaurant staff are wonderful.
love dinning at Embers at the Fairmont Resort. The food is great and the staff are always very friendly and efficient. They always make you feel very welcome.
Sandeep went above and beyond to make our 5th Wedding Anniversary dinner special . Highly recommend this place for dinner !!
Great place to have dinner. The staff were wonderful and the accor plus membership sure goes a long way when dinning with the family. The restaurant staff were very attentive to the details and made this a very special evening with for my wife's birthday. Thank you guys and keep up the good work.
This is our go-to for a quiet meal with a beautiful mountain view. Food is plentiful, fantastic combination of flavours and well presented. Staff are attentive and very friendly. Highly recommended.
1 star for the service - Restaurant staff were friendly and accommodating. 1 star for the view - the Jamison Valley views were amazing 0 stars for the food - Ordered the rib eye steak rare, was told they could only do medium rare. The steak came out so overdone it was as if santa thought I'd been a naughty boy and gave me my lump of coal early this year. The 'thrice cooked chips' should've been called 'nought cooked wedges'. The kids menu spaghetti bolognaise was inedible. It's a shame really because the restaurant could be great if it tried.
A magical experience, highly recommend!
