Fab evening in here before a gig at the hydro! Ramen is top notch! 🙌🏽
Great service, amazing cocktails and lovely food.
Great bottomless brunch, staff were attentive and food was lovely!
Very cosy and friendly environment with great staff
Tasty food and cocktails, friendly and efficient staff.
Went here for Valentines and had a great night! Food was amazing, the music, service and overall vibe was great, also found out its dog friendly. Will definitely be back :)
Great food, great staff
Attended with a friend for the bottomless brunch. Food was great and service started out very good. However as it got busier our table was forgotten about, we missed out on a glass of prosecco as none of the servers noticed us and we were then over our time. We then sat for 40 minutes with 4 empty glasses on the table and no one came near us, tea or coffee was included which we didn’t want but weren’t offered it. My friend had to try and catch someone and after multiple attempts managed to order a cocktail and then the bill. Disappointing as everyone was very accommodating at first and on previous visits the service has been great.
A great atmosphere, delicious cocktails and lovely staff. Would recommend to anyone!
Never disappointed when I go to Embargo. The food is phenomenal. Would recommend the vegetable gyoza, katsu fries, thai sweet potato curry, and the korean bbq chicken ramen. TBH the entire menu is great but definitely try all of the above.
Thank you ever so much to your staff-they were very friendly and welcoming, the food delicious, and atmosphere great. I’ll be back 👍
Food very nice , nice table at the window , service could’ve been better but overall well worth a visit
Booked on an itison deal. Great value for money, fab service and lovely food and drink. Would recommend
Really enjoyed the food and the staff are fantastic as well
Great food, drink and service. Was a bit cold by the door in the pub though
Went for NYE. The deal for 2 courses and 3 drinks was unreal. Food was super tasty and a great way to see our the decade. Not from Glasgow, but would definitely return for sure.
Great value for money for brunch!
Was only allowed to stick to bloody Mary's. 5 bloody marys is a bit much one after the other. Would be perfect if you could go between the bloody mary and prosecco.
I was very disappointed with this visit, having had a good visit the week prior to this. The reason was that two of our dishes were very average in taste and temperature and the restaurant (even at 1pm) was very quiet and completely lacking in atmosphere.
Really delicious food and great value for money for the bottomless brunch... however waited 10 minutes to get menus on the outset and took about two hours to get served our five drinks. Service was polite but incredibly slow.
We went at 7pm on a Saturday. The music was too loud and the restaurant is very dark. It wasn’t a great environment for a meal however the food was delicious and our server Laurene was lovely.
All service was awesome! Great atmosphere, and the food was delicious and exciting. Thanks!
The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious.
We left Embargo after 20 minutes of waiting to be served for either dinner or drinks. We arrived just before 6.30 and stood around in the bar area as no-one was greeting to seat you. We moved further in and realised the restaurant area was through in the other side. A guy carrying drinks advised us where to sit after we asked him and he dumped a load of eaten plates of food at the end of the bar. This area was full of empty glasses and looked dirty and disorganised, not a great thing as it makes you wonder what is going on where you can't see. It was cold sitting by the window and people going in and out the door to smoke didn't help. Behind us there was a group of girls in their early 20s but judging by the screeching that was going on they may have been between 8 and 16. On top of that we waited for a server for over 20 mins but no-one arrived. Instead we went to Banana Leaf where they were lovely and the food was excellent. Very disappointing as we were having a date night.
