About El Pirata
Spanish restaurant and tapas bar

This was my first visit in quite some time and am delighted to report that all aspects of our experience were as good as ever. We won't leave it so long next time!
Great off the main track authentic tapas with very friendly staff and a great value lunch menu!
Food and wine were excellent and we loved the atmosphere. The only downside was the slightly too efficient service which made us feel as if we were being rushed.
Lovely lunch. Authentic food. Dinky atmosphere. Great service. A little piece of Spain in Mayfair !
Excellent value Winter Warmer lunch menu featuring a large choice of tasty dishes - great for sharing and something for everyone.
From booking to paying the bill everything was fantastic. The service and atmosphere alone were a good enough reason to rate this restaurant 5* but the food and wine (handpicked by our waiter) took things to another level. Will most definitely be returning - soon i hope. Thank you all for a fantastic evening!
We had a superb evening at El Pirata, and thank you so much for the rendition of Happy Birthday to mark my wife's special day. Many many thanks.
Very small portions for the size of plates you get. I’ve paid £8,50 for a couple of calamari - not even made an effort to make it look pretty.. Service wasn’t great either. They do however serve the food fast.
Really good !
Some good ok some good missing flavour.
Great evening for 8 of us. We all loved the food and wine and it was all reasonably priced . Service was good and staff very friendly. This was our fifth visit and we will definitely be returning
Quantities are very small and the food was blant. We ordered tapas and one of them were wings(falling apart and overcooked ). In general, our visit wasn’t great and we wouldn’t go back.
Great as always, been coming for circa 20y. It’s like stepping into northern Espana for a short holiday. Love it, Thank you. Andy
Visited out of curiosity as I saw El Pirata sponsor a stand at Wealdstone fc in Ruislip where I watch football. My wife and I decided to give it a go as we are also fans of good tapas and we were very impressed on all counts. Hope to visit again soon!
Good Service and reasonably priced.
Regular customer, totally brilliant place & people.
Only disappointment is that, when booking online, there was a similar comments box to this one into which I made the request for my girlfriend to receive a small cake for dessert with a candle in as it was her birthday. This request was not met. Even more disappointingly, a woman on the table next to us DID receive a cake with a candle in it for her birthday,
Fantastic place! Will defo visit again when we visit London!!!!!!! Haven’t stopped talking about it since xx
The waitress strongly recommend a more expensive wine, which didn’t match with the food, don’t like to be forced like this !
excelente atmosfera e ambiente
Portions were very small even by Tapas standards. Food was ok but nothing special.
Great service, great food, great prices. Nice and helpful staff. I would absolutely recommend El Pirata!
Good food and fantastic service!
