We are a New European style, 60 seater restaurant in Belfast city centre. We serve tapas sharing plates and starters followed by more robust meat and fish on the bone done in our Bertha charcoal oven for that special smokey BBQ flavour.
Extensive drinks, wine and cocktails menu with a nice cosy atmosphere that lends itself well to families, couples, groups and large parties.
Food was amazing!!!! Will definitely be back!
Great night we will be back
Food was excellent though found service to be underwhelming. We sat for 15 minutes after finishing dinner waiting for plates to be cleared until eventually I had to call someone over to do this. At this stage I expected to be offered desert, tea, coffee or even just another drink, so I assumed when the plates were cleared that maybe a desert menu would be brought. After a further 10 minutes without even a drink in front of me I had to again call someone over and ask if we could order desert. At no stage were the delays even acknowledged. Service diminished what would have been an otherwise great meal.
Oh my word. The food was superb. Can honestly say it was one of the tastiest steak.ive ever had. The flavour was amazing.
Lovely food, staff committed to great cooking and service. If I lived in Belfast, I'd be there often.
Had a great night amazing food can’t wait to return!
Finally got to visit Edo and it was so worth the wait! A truly fab place. Very cool vibe, lovely staff and properly yummy food. Everything about it was spot on. I will be recommending it and can't wait to return.
Vast choices of dishes and every element delicious. Service warm and attentive; vibrant atmosphere - 5 stars!
Everything was delicious and good value for money
Great food drink and service, will definitely be back!
A real gem - great menu for all - vegetarian and vegan too! Atmosphere and decor great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly highly recommended
Lovely friendly staff and great for larger parties with delicious choice of tapas and great choice of drinks.
Excellent in every respect!
The only thing wrong was that having booked we were initially offered seats at the counter. This was resolved when we objected- though we would have left if seating hadn’t been changed. That’s why service is 3 stars. Otherwise would have been 5.
Fantastic food and service in a very relaxed atmosphere
The food was FANTASTIC. The Ox Cheek was an absolute delight, literally falling apart and so full of flavour. I happened to get the Ham Hock which was ridiculously good - oh but only get this if you're really hungry (or feeding 3 people :-)), there's a lot of it! ... And theres some really nice wines to wash it all down, don't know what else to ask for?
Excellent food, service and value for money. A couple of stars deducted for ambience (we found it quite noisy), but we definitely plan to be back - thanks!
Never fails to offer a fabulous experience
2nd time here. Really terrific service: relaxed, informed, efficient, and a real sense that the foh and waiting staff are really invested in the business. Simple, but interesting and incredibly tasty food, delivers the unexpected with class not tricksiness. My one criticism would be that, depending on which main you order, portions are not equivalent. For example, I ordered trout, which was cooked and plated to perfection but the garnish (celeriac with crumb, a tiny amount of new potato, a puree and dill oil) was minimal, while my friend ordered ribs which arrived as a really huge portion with masses of sweet potato, and which she couldn't finish. The silver lining here was I then ordered a side: salt-baked celeriac with fermented cabbage and roasted hazelnuts. This was one of the finest dishes I've ever had, and if it had somehow popped up on the dessert menu (unlikely, I know) I'd have gone for that again, no question. Good drinks list. Food is excellent value, most mains are extremely reasonable. Well worth a visit. I'll be back soon.
Fabulous meal with two friends. Great venue, dishes service and company. What’s not to like?
First time I’d eaten here. Brilliant atmosphere, slick service and really good food well balanced and wine to match. Unpretentious, clearly passionate about what they do and it shows in all aspects of the restaurant. A brilliant addition to the Belfast restaurant scene. Will revisit soon.
Fabulous will definitely be back.
This was our second visit to Edo and we will definitely be back to try more dishes from the menu.
