Very enjoyable evening and great food!
Service very slow
Very attentive staff
Very slow service for drinks and food. Ordered 4 meals, they forgot one and by the time that came out the rest of us had already finished our meals. Was offered one free drink to compensate. Very expensive for what you get too
This was a birthday present for my husband. Sadly the Pizza oven was not working on our booking day. So we could not have Pizza as booked. My husband was very happy with his fish but the chips did not seem freshly cooked,I had a veggie burger which was very tasty but again the chips were stale. We were somewhat disappointed .
Kitchens not working - received a phone call cancelling our table with 3 hours to go - very disappointing as was for a birthday celebration- we all wanted burgers Can’t comment on service etc so just put 2 stars as was required
Service was excellent. Our waitress was lovely and the food was delicious.
We had a lovely evening sampling the Asian street food which was delicious - my only gripe really is the price of your drinks - £9 for a cocktail served in a relatively small glass but on the whole a good place to dine
The menu was in the middle of being changed so there were no starters on offer and for mains it was just a choice of pizza or burger a bit disappointing
Great food, excellent service. Very good value for mo ney
Excellent Pizza's, value and service. Open fire needed to be burning brightly as very cold evening.
Lovely service and food but was empty
I love East Coast Diner. You always get a warm greeting. The food is excellent and high quality. However, one of the things I find East Coast needs to look into is having a happy hour. That would make it 5 stars in all areas!
Booked 3 weeks in advance. Table not ready, fair enough this can happen, ordered drinks at the bar.... waited 15 minutes nothing, said I would take my party to another pub for drinks whilst they sort out drinks, bar staff said ok. We actually left and went to another bar for our first drink. Waitress friendly. Bar manager rude. We had a party of 9 that spent a lot of money but will never return.
Excellent value with Groupon. Good atmosphere on a wet Thursday evening. Thin and crispy pizza with fries was tasty and filling.
The service was very fast and the food was very good
The cocktails were fantastic (if a bit pricey), the staff very accommodating and efficient and the atmosphere was lovely. However what really let the place down was the food. Steaks were over cooked and still not right when they came out the second time. The chicken and bacon Caesar salad has very little chicken on it and far too much dressing. The menu did not mention the chicken was breaded and so my friend couldn’t eat it. The food was not cheap so this was unacceptable really. The staff were very nice about it and took all the food off our bill. We would definitely return for cocktails but not for food
Great food and service
We went for my sons birthday and we all loved the pizzas - thin and crispy as they should be. 😋 The service and staff were all really friendly and helpful. We will definitely return 👍🏼
Absolute appalling service, rude, many items unavailable. I will never go there again. Food took forever to get to us.
Simply overpriced,The burgers were well presented and tasty, however, they were very greasy! I've paid less in very good restaurants, it may be the diner is 'upmarket', but, it is still a diner/bar, it is in Woodbridge, not, London. The toilet facilities are anything but 'upmarket'. The shakes are extortionate! Burger with fries and a shake came in at a fraction under £20. The service was great, very friendly and efficient staff, couldn't fault them. Enjoyable meal out overall, just charging too much.
We were very disappointed with the service. The young lady didn't have a clue, my 9 years old would have been better. The order was slow and wrong. For a wannabee wine bar, there is no cheese on the menu (i forgot but they offered us grated cheese!!!) Apart from that, we do like the atmosphere, shame about the rest!
