We have an amazing extra space. upstairs which caters for bigger groups and parties, fine locally sourced produce,great pub food lovely range of cask ales and perfect atmosphere for families.
Foods not quite as good as the Fleece but then it's not as dear.
I have a new favourite pub the pies are incredible we each had a different one best pie ever and I would go as far to say the vegetarian option I have ever eaten in a restaurant the only thing you could do to improve is add a couple of more vegetarian options as I will be back again
Glad rain stopped
Despite the downpour of rain, we had a lovely meal and drinks. Beef roast dinner was amazing and a great portion size.
Love the cabin, staff were very good, love the app way of ordering and paying will definitely be back.

Poor service, staff knew there had been issues with guest ales and cocktails for a few days when ordering via the app. We waited for 40 mins to get our first drink only for the guy to laugh and say ‘did you order the pale ale’! Why you wouldn’t tell people there was an issue with these drinks not coming over is beyond me. The selection of beers on tap were poor and over priced. I had to ask 3 times for my deposit back, surely the servers should have offered us the refund, or was it always the plan to try and keep it? Just adds to the poor service. The setting is very smart and you are selling beers that I can buy from ASDA. I was expecting better from how nice it looks after the refit. I will not be returning.

Cabins were great and couldn't fault the service, all the staff were very friendly and professional
What you’ve created in the outdoor space is amazing. The cabins are great and we will definitely book again. The only thing that would have improved our experience was the website for ordering. It would be really helpful for the meals to be marked GF, DF, V, Vegan, and also we couldn’t find the ‘comments’ section when ordering and had to keep pestering the staff to ask questions (the staff were amazing and happy to help).

Nice lunch sat outside at a picnic bench, arrived a bit early but not a problem. Ordering done on the app which was very easy once we found it! Not a huge choice of food. We both had scampi and chips and apple crumble and custard. Would have liked a few more scampi but the apple crumble was delicious and piping hot with a jug of custard each. Would definitely go back again. They've put a lot of time and effort into making a good eating area outside.
The place itself was absolutely stunning alongside of the food. Decent portion sizes and all appeared freshly made; if you’re either vegetarian or vegan like myself too, there is also plenty of different options for you. Unfortunately, although the service for us wasn’t bad the number of people around us it was affecting was extraordinary. The staff were sending food and drink orders to completely the wrong tables and didn’t appear to have a clue what was what. A number of people were also struggling with the ordering system and when asking for help the staff didn’t care at all and gave them no help whatsoever. Shame really as everything else was lovely.
The place was lovely and we really enjoyed ourselves whilst being there. We were very disappointed with the food and the price of the food for what we got. We were expecting more and better value for money especially since it is such a popular and hyped up place. If the food was to improve I would recommend but at this moment in time, I would only recommend going for drinks.

Would be better if the food for each table were brought out at the same time, even though we ordered from different phones.
Lovely family local pub.
Poor service. Basic food. Overcharged by £7 on food due to confusing menu that does not accurately describe what you are ordering also Failed to reimburse the £5 paid to book table. Owed £12 which I have asked for in writing and no response. Atmosphere was ruined by badly behaved guests. Not recommend.
Very friendly and quick service
Positives; Great effort by the owners to provide good quality cabins with heating during this very difficult time, hats off to them! Negative's; Booked table for 2 hours, after 1.5 hours was told that the app wasn't working anymore so we couldn't order anymore drinks. How stupid is this? So on a Friday night or sunny Saturday afternoon you would have to close because the app wasn't working, REALLY??? I honestly can't believe that you cannot buy a drink if the app fails, simply madness!! Also we all (8 of us, over 2 tables) wanted to order food, however we were not informed that the kitchen was about to close so when we enquired about food we were told the kitchen was closed & that was that! Finally the heating shuts off automatically after 1 hour & needs re-lighting, however our other table when it was re-lit was so much lower that it failed to give out any heat & we've paid for this??? Again looking like we were no longer welcome. All in all the experience has left us all wondering whether we were really welcome? It seemed that at 8.30/9.00 it was time to close & that we were no longer wanted. Weird as there was still around 13-14 people on the premises & I would have thought in these harsh times that pubs would want the income. It has left us wondering if it is really worth another try when so many pubs are welcoming people back.
The food was nice but sent the first lot of chips back as they were cold. It didn't help that we had to wait for the cutlery after the food had arrived. Then ordered pudding but ended up drinking the ice cream as the cutlery took so long to come. Staff asked at the end if everything was OK so we politely said it would have been better if the cutlery was here before the food. Staff didn't seem to take the recommendation well. We certainly didn't mean it nastily Would go again but would definitely ask for cutlery BEFORE the food came.
I would visit again although we had a booking 9 till 11pm after our first booking and were told at 9.15 last orders is due and to leave not long after. When you paid till 11pm we thought this was very mis- leading on yr booking system.......
Every thing was great. Service was very fast. Could do with putting what comes with the meals....chips veg etc. We ordered extra chips as it wasn't stated.
