Far too noisy with dreadful background music.
It is just ok. An average meal for above average prices. Can't say more than that really.
We had the 3 course special and a bottle of wine, quality was excellent, portions maybe a little on the small side, only negative was the Tiramisu had no alcohol in it. The restaurant was very busy, but they coped really well, our service was excellent, we were not kept waiting, or rushed. Final bill was £75
Very nice meal v good quality good menu every nice service and Saturday evening out a good pre view to my Manchester 10 k on following day
Great meal as always... fantastic staff, food and atmosphere. See you again soon.
Went for the pre-theatre menu and the food was excellent. Service was initally good and our starters and mains arrived very quickly (although drinks were very slow - we ordered cocktails but they arrived about the same time as our mains!). Towards the end though the service became terrible. Our (new) waiter forgot our dessert order, we had to cancel part of it because we had to go. He said it always gets busy once people get to desserts - but if this is the case surely you should plan for that! When our dessert did arrive, it was not as advertised (literally a dish of creme brûlée with no garnish or decoration) so we sent it back for a couple of raspberries and an biscuit to be thrown on. A service charge was added to the bill, probably the only way half of their waiters get tips as although some we were lovely, others were very rude.
Good, high quality food.
A lovely dining experience. The food and service are excellent.
Nice atmosphere but went off the pre show menu and felt they gave smaller portions as my friend chose off the main menu (small main) and that was bigger than my main. Just felt conned. Also charged 10% service which was optional for only 2 persons and I think it's rude and took it off the bill. Felt the waiter was slightly arrogant too. I wouldn't visit again as it was £84 for a pre theatre main, bottle of wine (which was £22) and a starter, a small main and 2 deserts. Honestly it's over rated and had pretentious staff. Sorry but give me pizza express any time.
We had a lovely meal here ahead of going to the theatre, food was lovely and service excellent, it was my aunties birthday and all the staff made us feel extra special. Thank you
We have been here before on a quiet day and the service and food were excellent. This time it was very busy and the service was very slow (45 minutes) before our food arrived. The food was still excellent but we only had time for the one course which was a shame.
Service was ok but food very overpriced. There were hardly any tomatoes on my caprese and a £2 supplement for the tiniest piece of salmon with some peas and veg.
Brilliant meal, great staff and lovely venue.
Fantastic food, lovely to see lobster Thermidor, and salted seabass on the menu...was like being on holiday, Huge menu ....could not fault the meal
So disappointing. This is the fourth time I've visited this restaurant and every time we have had an issue either with the food or service. We won't be returning again. Service is very poor from the moment you walk in there is no friendly greeting. The waiter avoids you. The staff are so rude to the point they've laughed at us. The service charge is a joke as the service is very poor. Half a starter missing and management refuse to take it off the bill. Tried to get he waiters attention while our started sat there going cold to tell him there was an issue but we were ignored. When we finally did get the waiters attention he asked his manager what could be done.. they stared at us made us feel uncomfortable while they talked and then said there was nothing they could do. Really disappointing and horrible atmosphere. Would never return.
Although we had no complaints about the food or the waiter who served our table, we were originally served with the wrong order, which was then included on the bill! Staff had to be reminded that a side order had not been served and then when it was, it was the wrong order. As the meal had almost been eaten, the original side order was cancelled, however, in fairness it was eventually served but not charged for. Diners should be aware that a 10% optional service charge is added to the bill and is presented as the total bill unless challenged.
We had the pre theatre menu and it was lovely, will definitely be returning
Amazing food, amazing service. Staff are friendly and make you feel very comfortable.
Quick and efficient meal when going to the theatre
Had a pianist playing which was lovely, great atmosphere as the place was bustling and great service!
I'm from the states and honestly the food in the UK in general was terrible. But this restaurant was outstanding. The food felt authentic and tasted amazing.
Absolutely fantastic, brought my mother in law for a pre theatre dining experience the staff were extremely friendly & polite, location perfect & decor on point! Would highly recommend & already have to friends and family! Thankyou
