Lovely meal. For the price, staff should be up to silver service standard.
Thank you, Kai, for a delicious dinner! Really enjoyed everything! And thank you to our server for making a great sake recommendation!
Good food but the service was very slow. The receptionist wasnt accomodating. We wanted an extra chair but they refused to give us one.
Mentioned at the time of booking it was my birthday but no complimentary dessert or dish, just an acknowledgement. Not sure why you asked if was a special occiasion in that case. No air conditioning. Food was excellent. Service good, at times maybe a bit annoying.
Fine food, friendly service, nice place
I’m sad after eating here....because I know i’ll find it difficult to eat normal sushi from anywhere else again...possibly the best meal i’ve ever had.
Good food in a cosy environment. Far too expensive for me to return again soon.
My son asked if we could go to Dinings for his 15th birthday. We absolutely love it. The venue itself is very unassuming. You don't go for the atmosphere, you go for the fabulous food.
Absolutely loved the menu, food preparation and presentation. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The restaurant falls a little short on service though. Our server failed to bring us the miso-glazed eggplant tapa we ordered and then brought us the double crab roll which we did not order. For a restaurant at this price point, servers really should be more attentive and accurate.
The food is exquisitely prepared and presented, and the service was excellent from start to finish. It is a privilege to be able to eat here, a real gastronomic destination. However, even by London standards this is an expensive restaurant (our bill was £250 for 2 people, and we had a perfectly pleasant but unremarkable bottle of rose) and eating there is probably not an everyday occurrence.
A nice enough place and good food but massively over priced.
Hidden gem. My guest loved it !!
I have never been to a restaurant where I was humiliated. we had major delays on the drinks order due not having adequate par stock in your bar resulting to have wait for 45minutes for the drinks to arrive as 2 bottles of Sake we order was out of stock. A glass of red wine took the longest and came after the 2nd dish arrived! The cherry on top was we was told we couldn't order any longer and needed to leave as there was another table arriving and we need to respect them? Seriously have you heard anything like that in hospitality... Its an absolute disgrace on how the manager handled this situation. He thought by taking drinks off the bill would solve anything. The reason we stayed longer then usual was because of the service was slow with the drinks. I have never stayed in a restaurant longer then 1.30hr, so what dose that tell you. That its our fault? Food was delicious but Im afraid we will not be coming back just because of your management. The worst part is the guest I hosted, visit dining in Tel Aviv every 2/3 weeks.
Fresh and original
Fantastic fusion sushi
Everything was so fresh and lovely but the portions were teensy and were quite expensive for what they were. Couldn't fault the service and the raw seafood was so fresh it was out of this world, but I've been to lots of other Japanese restaurants in London and the marginal cost of that added quality was a bit much for me. It was a great try either way.
The waitress did not speak English very well. We had a difficult time communicating with her. We ate at the bar which I would not do again. Although the food was very good, it was extremely expensive for the portions.
Snooty waiter Overpriced Pushy Under delivery on atmosphere for the prices Some of food underwhelming
Food was delicious, but service was not great. Servers were disorganized and somewhat uninformed about the food. Nice people but was a sloppy experience. Server was distracted from serving the customers in the restaurant by also having to take call-in take out orders. Requested sushi without wasabi and order arrived with wasabi. They offered to make another order but after waiting 30 minutes to order and then longer for the food to arrive was too hungry to wait. They did not even offer a discount off the order, which would have been a nice gesture. Overall think the food is good but the overall experience could be improved.
Good quality fish. Very delicate and flavoursome. My only criticism is that we ate at the sushi bar but couldn't see the preparation due to the bar design. The atmosphere was a bit dry and would recommend to eat downstairs in the main restaurant.
great restaurant .
We are regular customers and we always leave satisfied with the delicious sushi and wonderful service.
Fantastic as always! The staff are unanimously welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food is beyond excellent. We love the cosy basement restaurant and will be returning.
Extremely delicious food! A little throwback Thursday to Tokyo except for the ‘eat and leave’ policy for round 2 of covers.
Brilliant food but the staff could be less pushy about ordering, I believe people who go to a restaurant of this level know how much they would like or not like to order!
