About dim t London Bridge
Our flagship dim t restaurant is set over two floors, offering some of the finest views of Tower Bridge. Set in the busy business area of More London we also have a private dining area which can cater for up to 30 people with ease and with only 400M from HMS Belfast – it’s the perfect stop off point for families visiting the area. The famous fountains offer some great picture and video opportunities for the whole family while enjoying your food in our al fresco dining tables by the river.
Had to send back 2 dishes - one was cold and the other had an elastic band in it! Wake up, chef?! Really ruined the experience. The waiting staff however were very good and offered to replace the dishes and take them off the bill.
The young girl attending to our table was very polite, enquirer if all was satisfied on several occasion and met our needs when required. Overall a lovely evening over looking the great scenery.
We normally visit Dim T in Winchester, which is local to us and always delivers excellent food with excellent service, so we thought we would try out Dim T near Tower Bridge whilst on a trip to London. Sadly, the food wasn't as good (I had the Singapore noodles, which were very dry and lacked flavour) and the service started off good, but got a lot slower as our evening went on. We waited 25 minutes just to pay the bill. It could have just been a one off, so I'd still recommend Dim T, but next time I'll be going to Winchester instead.
Lovely food, great view and a lovely atmosphere.
Good and drink were excellent. Was seated downstairs - view upstairs is much better
We booked for the £19 set menu but the staff seemed confused about this and it wasn't clear what was included and what wasn't. For example, a starter described as 'Dim Sum selection' seemed like a good option for our party of 4 but it turned out to be just 3 pieces of one type of dumpling - hardly a 'selection' and insufficient for 4 people! The food we had was good but the restaurant was very noisy and the service a bit chaotic.
Cold egg fried rice. The most basic food one can make. Service is inconsistent compared to service received for next table. The host gave me sarcastic comment about booking 5 mins ago when I kindly let her know I booked 1 hour ago.
Great menu and service!
Excellent food and great views of Tower bridge. One of my favourite places in central London.
Our food arrived before our actual drinks and some of the food was cold! Would not recommend and am highly unlikely to visit again without an offer or voucher
Good service and great food.
Bring back the curcumner salad But SERVICE THE TOILETS
The waiter was lovely and efficient when he was around although took along time to order. Poor guy looked like her was running around while 2 other staff(managers) just stood there. Even when we asked to order, the manager followed the waiter who’s hands were full of plates to make sure he came back to take our order.... I mean the manager could have just done it... Our bottles beers were warm... and one of the Hottest days in London, that is not what you want especially when payin nearly £5 for it. The waiter took them back to the bar.... bartender, I guess forgetting it is an open planned restaurant just kept shouting at the waiter which was rather unpleasant when he was just doing his job. He continued to go onabout it for about 5 minutes before we got new beers.. again he seemed to be older and maybe more senior than the waiter which made it so unpleasant that he just was so agressive in his actions that it made you, a paying customer, feel uncomfortable for queries something that isn’t of the right standard...
I booked a lunch for myself and 4 colleagues on Thursday. We arrived and had our drinks arrive quickly, which was nice. The food order was taken, however, it took longer than expected for the food to arrive. Quite frankly, my meal must have been sitting on the side. It was luke warm and also there was only a teaspoon of sauce which was disappointing. I will not rush back.
I had dinner at dim t with a friend and we will definitely be back for more! However, it was slightly disappointing that we weren’t given a table by the window but overall, the restaurant was still very good!
I have been here a few times the food is generally quite good. However, during my last meal there with 6 colleagues, the services was absolutely horrific. We waited over an hour for any food to arrive, the staff were not attentive at all throughout the meal and seemed more interested in talking with each other and going on the company iPad, and when went to pay the bill they charged us incorrectly. Extremely disappointing. Again, the food was quite nice but was drastically outweighed by the shockingly bad service. Hope this gets fixed soon!
Such a great view!
My friend and I enjoyed a pleasant meal - great dim sum and the crispy sea bass was lovely, however, no egg fried rice?? Also, Korean Fried Chicken was most definitely not Korean Fried Chicken, just a straightforward stir fry - a bit disappointing.
our visit was very mixed. our main courses took 2 hours to arrive. although there was a power cut, and that later delayed everything, other customers who arrived at the same time as us were fed and left before we had our mains. there were 2 large groups who were prioritised consistently even though they arrived after us. there was one waiter trying to serve the whole upstairs of the restaurant, we felt sorry for him - too many tables! he handled the situation well however and was extremely apologetic about the delays. (i don't know his name unfortunately) after we requested to speak to the manager, he was also very accommodating. luckily we weren't in a rush anywhere! would recommend that you hire some more staff.
I’ve been to Dim T a few times. Love the pork bao buns and dimsums. Yesterday I was dining with 4 other adults and 2 babies. We were given a nice space and 2 high chairs so it was very convenient with babies. The service was good, food was brought in timely. We were sat next to the baby changing facility which really helped as I was with a baby. Great location with lovely views of London Bridge.
Staff were friendly., it was priced reasonably and the food was good. What more to say 🙂
Service & Food were both amazing as usual! Staff are super friendly and fast no matter how busy the restaurant gets! Food was absolutely phenomenal & for the price point you cannot go wrong! One of my favourite places to eat in London!
Wonderful service and location - in fact, couldn[t have been better. Only problem was that we went on a Sunday and about 30% of the menu was not on offer - needless to say, the most popular dishes, which was a pity.
The service was incredibly slow. We had to chase our waiter for our drinks which came after our starters. The mAin course took a good 45 minutes to arrive after we had finished our starters. Lovely food but the waiting around just ruined the whole experience
Staff were amazing!!! The private dining room had a great vibe!
