About dim t Hampstead
The original dim t is set in the centre of beautiful Hampstead, a great location for an afternoon catch up or meeting place for families and groups. With a stunning design set over two floors this is the perfect location for gatherings or just a quick lunch.
The food here is never disappointing, and we can’t fault the staff. Always have a pleasant experience when we eat here.
Bring back miso soup
Love the food as always. They made a mistake with the spring rolls but rectified it immediately.
The dining area is a little cramped - could do with removing a couple of tables.
Service was ok but felt guilty asking staff for anything they made me feel like they were doing us a favour. Also seconds after ordering a dish while waitress was taking order I cancelled the dish and it still came.
Was nice, but not amazing.
very attentive staff - couple of minor issues but all resolved with a smile
All staff very attentive always a pleasure to visit. We noticed you changed the menu, missed the starter sharing platter. We didn't like the change of the seasoning on the spicy edamame. Please revert back!
Tasty food and friendly service.
Good fun but slightly slow service!
Very nice food and good fast service with lovely people that served me.
Very friendly and helpful staff and nice atmosphere.very baby friendly place, great high chair!we had a nice dim sum selection and ntasty noodles!
Thoroughly enjoyable meal. Great service, buzzing atmosphere. Will be coming again soon!
I had booked a table online and got a confirmation email only to turn up and have the manager/waiter say there is no booking under my name. I showed him the confirmation email for him to still say they cant do anything as they haven't got the booking on the system. This was very annoying as we has obviously booked. We had to wait around oitside for a table to become free which took about 30 mins. The food and drinks are fab but very annoying that their booking system has faults and nothing was done about it or our booking.
We’ve been going to Dim T for years now. We are very sad to say it has really gone down hill, although the staff are lovely, the service is very slow and the food has so gone down hill. It has been one of your favourite restaurants but it’s now poor.
We went there with 4 children and noticed that Children's portions ( Dim Sum Basket) was very small/had shrunk, and some of the pieces very very spicy for children so we had to order an extra item from the main menu to feed the children. One of the children had the Japanese rice which was nice. As for the service, it was an exceptionally busy day after our school's speech day - full of children - but the staff tried their best.
Great food but service was a bit slow and our orders were missed. We did get these on the house though.
Need more waiters!!
Terrible service was blamed on the new computerised ordering system. In the end our party of 3 got only two main courses, so two of us had to share, because we were running out of time. The food we had was excellent, but I won't be coming back soon. Need to give them time to sort out the problems.
The food was ok, service was good, the most disappointing order was the duck, which was very poor value for money, this was a very small portion of duck served on the same plate as the small portion of cucumber and spring onion, the sauce was served in a small bowel that was also on the same plate that had spilt over the vegetables. I’ve looked forward to going to this restaurant for a long time , but I was disappointed.
Lovely food and gorgeous restaurant. Drinks were delicious. Good size menu and the dim sum starters were great. Would definitely return.
The restaurant was full of flies. It was very off putting. We told the waiter and he was aware of the problem. It was very unhygienic. I won’t ever be returning.
