About Di Maggio's Hamilton
Our restaurant in Hamilton has a bright, warm and welcoming atmosphere and like all Di Maggio’s branches is very family-friendly. While colouring pads, puzzles and crayons keep the kids amused, the parents like Di Maggio’s Hamilton for its regular cabaret dinners, which feature a three course dinner followed by live entertainment from some of Scotland’s best Tribute Acts.
Our dedicated team in Hamilton pride themselves on serving home-cooked quality Italian cuisine in a family-friendly atmosphere that everyone can enjoy. The full Di Maggio’s menu is on offer alongside great value lunch and pre-theatre deals and there is also a full carry-out and delivery service available.
Better then last time we were there
Restaurant was lovely and clean. Minestrone soup was more like tomatoe soup as nothing but tomatoes in it and wasnt hot. Lasagne was very tomato puree my mother couldnt eat it. Maybe next time we order something else
A very friendly restaurant with great food at a reasonable price. Always great service. Free car park too.
Food was delicious, large portions and great prices. Service was quick and the atmosphere was very relaxed.
First time here, was really delighted with the food and the service, will be returning
Had a lovely family meal my 5 year old enjoyed the play area but found it began to get busy with older children which it maybe isn’t suitable for if there are smaller children in it but this should be the parents responsibility not the staff. Would recommend and return.
So after visiting Di Maggio's in Hamilton with my wife and 3 kids we were totally astounded that my daughters goats cheese salad had a living insect in it, clearly not what we ordered or would expect from any restaurant, i brought this to the attention of the waiter who quickly removed the dish from the table and took it back to the kitchen, after a few minutes the general manager came out very apologetic and could not believe what she had seen and served my 13 year old daughter. She took down our details and said someone would be in contact with us! but clearly this is much more important to myself and my family than it is to Di Maggio's head office as I thought they would have acted upon this with some kind of urgency but to our surprise they have not contacted us. So I've taken this upon myself to make as many people aware via all possible means, social media etc etc as they clearly don't cars for food hygiene or customer satisfaction or the would have been in touch by now.
Staff were amazing! So friendly & put candles in my daughters dessert & sang happy birthday! The softplay was great! Will definitely be back!
Always lovely cooked food we do feel portion size could be made smaller
Very under staffed. The day we were in we had booked in advance to be next to play area... we were no where near and the women refused to move us. 20 minutes to wait for drinks, she came to take order we still didn’t have drinks. Long wait to then take actual food order. Not really the women’s fault as she seemed to be the only person in the building besides the chefs, but still stressful to be waiting so long when I had four young children with me. She did try and be as attentive as she could however but was disappointed as it was my first time here. The bill came to £65 even although i had a summer spectacular deal for £9.99 so it seemed that the kids meals who only had one course each and no dessert, cost me more than my adult two courses.
We had a lovely meal with excellent service. The play area was very much appreciated and our 3year old had a great time.
Food & drink were great. Service was awful. There was a young guy working who seemed to be the only one doing any work - others were either on their phone, chatting to a colleague or told you they would be with you in a minute then didn't come back. Not great.
Summer time menu. Great value for money
First time and will be back.
S bit disappointed that the pizza making was just putting toppings on already made base with sauce already added as this did not stretch children's experience much
asked for tomato sauce to be replaced by mayo on the children's starter - was charged an extra 50p. Its not the very small amount but the principle of being charged extra that has got me disgruntled.
Really enjoyed our meal for father’s day my only criticism would be the baby changing area is not private it is situated out in the open in the ladies toilet
Delicious Italian food served in a lovely setting.
Have been twice now servoce & food fabulos
Food was quite bland apart from spicy things. Would not come back due to the screaming children at the other end of the restaurant.
Staff went above and beyond to make our visit great including intervening when needed when a situation arose with another parent and my child in the soft play area. It was greatly appreciated.
Hi, i was here on Saturday night and was disappointed with my main course, i asked for piccante penne pasta and when severed the portion size was far too small, i approximately had 15 pieces of pasta and the rest was all sauce. I also asked for a desert menu after my main and waiting 10 a15 mins before giving up and asking for a cheque. So to say the least i left dissapointed and hungry.
Food was fabulous and very reasonable. The staff were lovely and helpful
