Fantastic service and ambiance !! Loved the brunch- xx
Love the architecture Very delicate flavours in dishes we chose Very attentive staff
Wonderful food, quiet and relaxing
Had a really good meal out with friends. Food was excellent
Totally enjoyable experience with excellent food
The best high tea I've ever had. Food was amazing and service was 5 star. Loved it! Will be talking about it for years.
Booked on recommendation of friend , well worthwhile
Considering how slow the restaurant was it was very tiresome getting served - otherwise enjoyable.
Beautiful restaurant, calm, easy going vibe, with excellent service and amazing food. We'll be back for sure.
Great evening fine dining experience. Highly recommend
Valentine's dinner was one of the best dinners we have EVER had. Each dish was perfection! And the service was delightful. Thank you.
Loved it and the Dress up packs just finished it off
It was really lovely, food was very tasty but a couple of the pieces, such as the lamington's tasted and had texture which felt like they were a day or so old... but the variety was nice, and felt full by the time we left. The tea selection was very nice, loved the Bay of Islands Breakfast Tea. The waiting staff were excellent, very welcoming and made the experience brilliant... It could be me.. but seeing the Chef eating, what appeared to be his lunch in the kitchen in plain sight was off-putting.
A great team, all staff we encountered - great service from restaurant bar and restaurant. We all enjoyed the evening and food was perfect. Highly recommended, in a great space as well.
Interesting take on contemporary NZ menu/ingredients&& wine list. Good value for money. Finer details of service need tuning but overall a worthwhile experience. Would be happy to return
The food and service were top class and yes it was 1920’s themed but wouldn’t go as far as saying it was roaring. That said we had a lovely time and would highly recommend it to anyone else interested.
on the whole a very pleasant experience, expertly cooked and served.
Beautiful atmosphere and service. Highly recommend.
Atmosphere is that of a cafeteria. Food good, but very stingy with the by-the-glass wine pours. And why not offer regular coffee instead of barrista-only choices?
Loved the atrium space.
Great place for lunch. Options for everyone both food and drink. Great vibe in the restaurant, great service, quick and attentive. Highly recommend this place to eat lunch
We came here for an end of year Christmas lunch. We chose Debrett's Kitchen because of the one square meal (entrée, main and dessert + glass of wine for $35) which looked like great value and worked with our per head budget. On arrival the menu had changed from what was on the website and now included a prawn cocktail as the entrée. We had two party members with a shellfish allergy and one does not eat shellfish. We were told that we could not substitute for something else which was a bit disappointing considering we had checked the menu to make sure it suited everyone. Although we could order off the main menu it was the package that had attracted us. With the entrée, main and dessert – there was less food than what you would expect an entrée to have, even in a more upmarket restaurant. The prawn cocktail was a few lettuce leaves with two (very small) prawns on top and a couple of decorative pieces of tomato and cucumber. The halloumi salad main was literally two small pieces of halloumi on a bed of mesclun, with three sandwich slices of every-day tomato, two olives and a lavosh cracker which was quite stale. The dessert was gone in a couple of mouthfuls. Portions were so small that we had practically all finished before our last party member's plate arrived on the table ten minutes late. Service was okay but would not recommend based on ridiculous portion sizes (and I am a small female who does not eat much).
Lovely venue and friendly staff.
Good food although the service could have been better especially as the restaurant was not busy. It took several attempts to order another glass of wine and we gave up on desert as no one bothered to bring us the menu. We just ordered coffee instead which also proved to be a little difficult.
As always, excellent service and food, look forward to coming back again in the new year. One of my favourite lunch spots.
