I had booked a few weeks before quite blindly and asked, I thought in vain, for a window table. After some drinks and enjoying the views in the sky pod bar we went to Darwin's 10 mins early. When we arrived we we greeted generously and enjoyed some cocktails at the bar. When showed to our table we were thrilled to be seated at a corner table with stunning unhindered views over most of the city. Certainly the best table in the house (booking early has advantages). The service was helpful and very friendly, food arrived promptly and was presented beautifully and tasted really delicious. We avoided wine but enjoyed more cocktails, beer and champagne. The place was lively with a good atmosphere which was unstuffy and relaxed. But the views and food stole the show. To top it off the bill was very reasonable and after 3 courses, water, drinks and service we had change from £200. Terrific value and a brilliant night.
The vegetarian options were not particularly good. When I asked for a slightly different meal, only using ingredients on the menu it was refused, and no other option was given to me. Only go for the view!
The food was exceptional, and the waitress was friendly and delivered exceptional service. My only disappointment was the lack of intimacy when dining. The tables were very close together and a large, loud group next to us made our experience less than romantic. We were surrounded by other tables and we were able to hear everybodies conversation. The whole restaurant was noisy and bright. I did enjoy the experience and would return but not for a romantic evening.
It’s a fantastic place & we’re sure to return when we’re back in London
Had a very enjoyable lunch sitting at a table by the window so could enjoy the amazing views over London. Very good food and the service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Good value for money considering the location.
Good quality food with a view as you'd expect. My food was nice but my partner's wasn't overly impressed.
It was an amazing experience, Definitely doing it again
Loved the place, loved the ambiance, loved everything!
Everything was good, but weather :) Would go there again if going to London
Excellent waitstaff accommodated our every need, including a lenthy delay by half our party. An excellent venue for a family birthday dinner.
EXCELLENT AS USUAL, PITY ABOUT THE RAIN ON THIS OCCASION, BUT THAT IS BEYOND YOUR CONTROL !! WE WILL BE BACK
Great experience, good service and food was good but it is all about the view and the garden in the sky!
Amazing views, lovely food - really slow service
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Essen war gut, das Personal sehr nett und die Aussicht atemberaubend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Absolutely great service from everyone. Really looked after and felt very special. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant experience. Thank you. Judith & Richard
They brought us wrong dishes two to three times. They even charged wrongly on the bill.
We had a very good breakfast with a great view over London.
A lovely evening was had by all. The table wasn't ready for 40 minutes which wasn't a problem as we enjoyed a bottle of champagne whilst looking at the view.
Good, friendly service. Great food at not silly prices!
This was my second time there, and my main complaint was that it was so noisey. We had a big group table next to us, and I could barely here the person opposite me to have a decent conversation. I feel I should have been warned of the big table in advance, as otherwise I would have chosen a different restaurant entirely. The food was good, a bit pricey, but the downside was the dessert. we had the pistachio tart which was dry, and the sticky tofee pudding which was rock hard and not the best.
Thanks for a lovely evening and to our waitress Amina for such friendly service.
The food was excellent as was the service - our waiter was fabulous and really helped make our celebration special. Would highly recommend!
