Fantastic Experience. One of the highlight of our London trip.
Brunch was super tasty apart from too much oil in the soup but they was more than happy to swap for another dish, as well as taking money off the bill just for something small. Service was brilliant, just didn’t expect to have to wait for a seat even though we booked a particular time. However we had a drink at the bar and the view was definitely worth the wait.
Very nice the personal at the table, two girls very gentle and Smart. Not good the personal te the door: not kind and the esperience did not start well.
The breakfast was super delicious and not touristy junk at all. The service was impeccable. (I'm a stickler for both!). And of course, the view is delightful from the Sky Garden.
Singel i cant est gluten i was really surprised över all the alternatives that i could est on the menu . Loves it Great Good and the view is amazing
The location was stunning but the food was very underwelming and overpriced. we were willing to pay a bit extra for the food but also expected it to be great at the price point. this was dissapointing. The warm dish we got with eggs/avocado and mushrooms on toast wasnt warm enough and underseasoned and the mushrooms dispite great ingredients didnt taste of much. The buffet had a very limited selection for the Price point and the only good thing was the pastry. overall a stunning view and location but that doesnt excuse bad and very overpriced food, therefor the low value for Money.
Very nice and totally enjoyable
The resturant is amazing, with an amazing view. The food was very good, same as the wine. The only downside it's that it was too noisy, I barely could hear the people with me.
Everyone enjoyed their meals and drink and the service was exceptional, especially when my daughter had a small issue with the quality of her steak. It was dealt with in a very professional manner by both the waitress and the front of house manager. We will definitely be back.
Someone should tell you that the panoramic terrace close at 18:00 if you are booking later than this time.
My Fiancé and I had a lovely time for our anniversary dinner at the Darwin Brasserie. As our first experience in the sky garden we were lucky enough to have a clear view of the beautiful sunset over London too! We will definitely be returning again soon! :)
I booked for a birthday lunch. I asked repeatedly to have the bill given to me at the end of the lunch. Despite this, the bill was given to the only man at our table. I wish your waiters were not so sexist. Just because a man is sitting at the table that doesn't mean he is paying.
Sky Garden and Darwin's Brasserie were by far the highlight of our London Weekend. We were lucky enough to see the sunset over London. Watching the buildings illuminate. Was just fantastic. Food was great, service was brilliant in the Brasserie. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Will be back!
The service has definitely gone down hill (we had to ask repeatedly for the orange juice we;d ordered, then two appeared instead of one and we were charged for both of them), and the layout of tables seemed denser than I remembered from my last visit. We used to recommend Darwin Brasserie to friends but won't rush to do so again..
Food and service was great.
I was here for my 58th birthday with my husband! We had the continental breakfast with much choice. I was suprised with a plate with written in chocolate "Happy birthday" and a piece of cake/pie. Beautiful view over the Thames. And ...... very nice employees!!!
A little more seasoning in the food would have got you full marks lovely location and great staff
Window seat request was granted and the view was brilliant. Food and service fantastic and my friend who requested a gluten free menu was given lots of options. All round great experience.
I would say during the day it feels like a canteen. I have been in the evening and it is a million times better.
Service was excellent as ever though had to wait a short while for the table despite booking. Very busy as it was a Saturday which made it feel slightly hectic. Sadly couldn't get a window seat which was little disappointing as it was my friends birthday but still lovely.
Darwin is one of my top London venues for breakfast.
We booked for the Darwin Brasserie for my birthday treat and I have to say I was really disappointed. The room was loud and so we were unable to hear each other talk despite being only across the table away. My partner had the burger and chips - the burger was dry and tasteless and the chips were covered in salt to the point of almost being inedible. The lemon tart was way too sour and despite the raspberry sorbet attempt to take away the bitterness it didn't work. I would rarely leave a negative review but after spending so much money on a birthday treat I was expecting much better. I must say the service was fantastic but I don't think we will be returning to the brasserie.
I was dissatisfied that the vat & service charge is added to the bill therefore it’s not £39.50 pp
