Every thing was good but I don’t now about service charge
I have previously been to fenchurch restaurant and could not praise it enough. Unfortunately the experience this week for my sons birthday treat was not so good. The Waitrose got the food wrong something that was not even on the menu. The child on the next table was watching teletubbies very loudly. I do think people should not be allowed to watch television at the table. We had the 39.00 set menu but due to the service from that waitress and the noise from the movie I would rather have been somewhere else. It is such a shame as we had high expectations after fenchurch. I must say the young waiter with blonde hair was very good it was just the waitress who needs to have some training. The food was lovely, view was lovely And don’t like to leave a bad review but customer service is so important.
We had a lovely evening, would definitely recommend. Timing was great and didn’t feel rushed at all!
Disorganised chaos at the ground floor entrance when we arrived for a pre-booked breakfast table. The location and the views obviously speak for themselves, however on this occasion we were disappointed with the quality of the breakfast and need to point out when ordering an omelette, it arrives looking like a small one egg omelette. None of the 4 breakfasts ordered were overly hot and needed to be eaten straight away. Overall it was an underwhelming experience
Had a really lovely lunch here; it felt super relaxed. We went during school holidays and the actual gardens were full of school kids which we didn’t anticipate! The restaurant itself though had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were great.
Prices becoming too high. Tables far too close together in places.
A lovely lunch with beautiful food
All good apart from the fact they initially seated us at a very poor table, despite me obviously not being happy, even though I had booked well in advance & requested one in a good position.& there were plenty of spare tables. Luckily the waiter got us moved. From then on all was good; food very good. Nice little cake/candle for my mums birthday which we appreciated.
Good experience at the restaurant... but the terrasse was closed!... so a little bit disappointed!
The staff were incredibly friendly and customer focused and made the whole experience extra special. Our plates were cleared a little too quickly and although i did not complain, the waiting team realised their mistake and were so apolpgetic and provided us with complimentary tea and coffee. This gesture could be seen as unnecesary, but it is the smalll gestures that go such a long way and as such i can only praise he whole team and their customer focus. Fully recommended!
Wonderful place. I appreciated the operator being helpful to change the time of my booking to breakfast instead of dinner at very short notice. It was a bit chaotic - running out of cutlery and crockery, and not keeping up with the supply of bread/butter etc. The choice was a little limited but very good quality.
Beautiful setting with some lovely food. Unfortunately on this visit there were a few issues with the salad's, but these things happen. What was important was the professional way it was handled and so that was very appreciative. Would visit again.
Lovely breakfast with stunning views. Service was great too.
Beautiful venue and very friendly, polite staff. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to enjoy a great vantage point for seeing London from 35 stories up.
Great place, fantastic view, good food, but noise level was terrible high
The gardens are nice but the Brasserie is noisy and the food average
Wonderful views. Good food.
I felt everything was over priced for what I had. The terrine of ham hock was lovely but the bread that came with it was so hard it scratched the inside of my mouth surely you don’t have it that hard. My steak was undercooked the sauce had been microwaved and was cold inside, I ordered a salad with my main it never arrived. It was an experience by i will not be back there are more restaurants that are the same price but quality is better.
Un très très agréable moment , splendide
The location is stunning. But there is a difference between 'lively', 'bustling' and 'vibrant', the terms you use to decribe your establishment, and the deafening racket we had to endure, which was caused by several noisy groups, a particularly monotonous musical 'curtain' and the complete lack of sound-dampening measures in the interior design. Darwin is a great place with excellent food - shame to see it spoilt like that.
It was a lovely experience in every way. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Menu choice fine, quaity of food superb. The restaurant had a lovely friendly atmosphere. My daughter in law said it was the best meal that she had eaten in a very long time. Will certainly come again
Good service friendly staff but food was only 'ok' overpriced for what it was.
Nothing negative to say, a very positive experience and definitely a special way to celebrate a birthday!
Our drinks took a very long time to arrive (at least 15 mins) and the food was also late and slightly disappointing. My avocado was slightly hard. All in all a disappointing visit and different to our previous visits here.
