About Darwin Brasserie
Overlooking the Thames on Level 36 is Darwin, a lively all-day brasserie, inspired by the very best of British.
With a laid-back yet spirited atmosphere, the space is inspired by the surrounding gardens and nature with understated décor which allows the food – and incredible view – to do the talking.
Seasonal and delicious ingredients take centre stage in the kitchen whilst creative cocktails are the perfect choice at the bar. Full of the bustling and vibrant energy of a true British Brasserie, enjoy brisk breakfast meets through to working lunches and lively dinners, with a reservation at London’s highest rooftop brasserie.
In the centre of the Darwin Brasserie is the Chef's Table, a stylish table which seats up to 20 guests and is ideally suited to group celebrations and occasions.

Cannot recommend highly enough this venue. We visited for breakfast on a Sunday. The views from the 36th floor were amazing, the food was excellent but what completed the visit for us were the staff. Extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Well done!
The menu was changed to the one I was sent, I was told if the menu changed I would be sent a update, also I called on Wednesday to inquire about something and he lady I spoke to said she would call be back, I’m still waiting, the bar area was absolutely freezing.Considering the price I felt the menu was lacking.i had fish cake and all I got with it was some runner beans , I feel £57.50 is excessive
Definitiv einen Besuch wert!
I booked through book a table and my booking was not accepted by you. I only found this out a couple of days before as I had confirmation that 9.30 was fine. so I had to come 45 minutes earlier sadly. I did complain but to no avail.
Very nice experience, nice view from the building and the food was just amazing!
Best place in terms of quality/price and amazing view of London.
The food was plain, simply adding a little sour element to the pork and the lamb would dramatically improve the food experience. A decent chef would know this just by tasting the food. We got no questions on how we wanted the burgers to be prepared, and the burgers came to us overly cooked/“well done”. The resturant had poor acustics so we could not hear what the person sitting beside us said, unless the raised their voices considerably. I will recommend people to visit the sky garden for the amazing views and great drinks and bartenders. After this experience I will recommend that they eat their dinner elsewhere.
Really good place and atmosphere. The good and drink is good, but not extraordinary. Otherwise, I recommend it
I felt quite rushed throughout the meal
Beautiful setting, professional staff and service but unfortunately the food was worse than you’d get in a Caffee. Eggs overdone and bread hard as stone. Other customers also struggled cutting through the hard bread. They should definitely consider changing their bakery. Prices are higher but that’s due to the beautiful views you don’t get elsewhere so ok with that.
We had an absolutely amazing meal on Saturday. Food was top class. Service was fantastic. Cannot recommend this place enough.
What can I say, fantastic service from the minute you arrive to the second you leave.. food was exceptional and the view is to die for.. A really great experience and one that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone..
We had a very pleasant breakfast, everything we ordered was tasty and beautifully prepared. The service was very nice and it’s a reasonable price to pay for all you get, including views. We’ll come back every time we come to London!
It was a lovely afternoon, great food and service. However, the restaurant is very cramped and does feel like you are sitting very close to the other diners.
Overall we had an excellent experience. Service was fantastic and the cocktails were brilliant too. Sadly my girlfriend got food poisoning and was quite violently sick in the evening and throughout Sunday too. For that reason we're unsure if we'd go back despite everything else being very good.
What a special treat to eat at the Darwin Brasserie. A wonderful view of the City's skyline, chilled out atmosphere, attentive staff and unusual menu. Highly recommend and will visit again.
Spectacular views and great food, came for a sunrise breakfast and was very happy.
Beautiful restaurant with a stunning view over the city. Excellent staff.
Whilst the setting was lovely and great service, we felt like the food was ok but not amazing. Not reflecting the costs charged, particularly the additional £10 for steak- it wasn’t great.
Great views and great service!
Fabulous views, and a great venue for eating or just a drink. The Brasserie has great views too. A better alternative to The Shard!
Very good restaurant, the food was really good and the restaurant was very nice, the price is a little above the average, so it is not bad considering the location. The con was the sky Garden site per se, it looks better in the pictures than in real life, smaller in fact but it is nice, maybe my expectations were too high. Additionally, the day we visited, it was raining and there were leaks in more than one point.
The service and the staff at the Darwin brasserie are really nice and professional. The food was ok, it was a bit too "bland" to me and a bit too pricey, but considering the location this is to be expected. I think it is a good place for a "slightly informal" business lunch, or to catch up with colleague(s)
Great food, had a delicious vegan tarte tartin. Attentive staff, nice atmosphere and a great view. Would definetly go again.
The service was by far one of the best in London. Staff and the manager were excellent and accommodating. The food was tasty and large portions. It was a bit loud but that's also what makes the atmosphere special. Would definitely go back.
