The best roast dinner as always!
Staff were all lovely but you needed more working. The wait for service, food to come and plates to be cleared was far too long. We ordered dessert and were warned the table was booked in 45 mins. If the service hadn't been so slow, we would have already left. We waited and waited and ended up cancelling the desserts.
My new favourite restaurant! Rustic vibes Great food Great service Lovely staff Could not fault our visit at all
Food is tasty, however all our chips (party of 6) were cold.. also the service is very slow and I constantly had to get up to look for a waitress!
Great food and atmosphere
Best roast looks like a fine dining plate but it's in a pub which is lovely to have! Thank you for having us it was my friends pre graduation meal and they certainly enjoyed it :)
We had to ask twice for somebody to take our order after sitting there for 20minutes, and when our roast dinners came out we ate what was on our plate before they brought out the cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire puds 10minutes after they brought our plates out. Not an enjoyable meal.
I am a regular at the moose and always recommend to friends and family I also like the live acts great food great atmosphere all good think regulars should get free Sunday roast for loyalty 😋
Staff couldn’t have done more to cater to our party of seven, children in tow! Our favourite Sunday spot!
During our visit on Sunday there was a slight hold up with our food , and to my surprise the amazing staff told us there would be no charge , This shows what an an absolutely amazing level of customer service and care , the food was outstanding and we will without doubt be back again soon , an absolutely amazing place , good vibe , great staff , great atmosphere and great value for money for such high quality food
Very disappointed as we were recommended the Sunday roast beef by a good friend. Table was booked for 1.45 and we waited 1 hour for our meal. There were 2 large groups before us but this should not have made our wait this long. Plates were cold and the food was luke warm. Beef was very tough and hard to cut with blunt knives . Danielle who served us was very apologetic and a credit to the establishment. however we will not hurry back again
We went for the bottomless brunch which was lovely. I could tell the staff were very busy and there probably weren’t enough staff to start with so they did a good job
Food delicious and plentiful and very good service especially as they were busy. Only issue was it was very noisy in there, live music added to this and also a rowdy group a few tables away from us. Couldn’t hold a conversation in there and left as soon as had finished dinner just because of the noise levels
It took three orders to find a drink that they actually had in stock and they’ve stopped doing Gamma ray
Roast was disappointing - cold. Wings were disappointing and overcooked - so very small Veggie roast had no veg apart from green garnish New waitress was very very awkward and made us feel uncomfortable. Wouldn’t hurry back for food
Also very dog friendly, very accommodating and a pleasant experience. Will definitely be coming back.
Waitress was excellent
We love the Dancing Moose the service is second to none, everyone is friendly , the atmosphere is fantastic and the food is superb and great value for money Cant wait for our next visit...
Brilliant evening great place
Awesome food, awesome venue, awesome staff, everyone needs to try this place!
Made a reservation specifically as was visiting friends and had our dog - the first time my husband was meeting one of my closest friends (we’ve been in the US for the past 9 years). Specifically said we would be bringing our dog, was told that was fine. When we got there the bouncer immediately said no dogs after 7PM. For some reason he also kept putting his hands on me (I’m a short woman, not exactly a threat) and I was extremely uncomfortable. I asked to speak with the hostess who said the dog was fine. No said the gatekeeper/bouncer. More hands on me trying to explain how I need to understand their/his perspective. The manager then came over and said the dog was fine but actually they recommend no dogs after 7PM because of the noise and it’s not good for the dog - I said that now it seemed like he was trying to make me feel like a crappy dog owner so I’d make the decision to leave. No no he said. In the end because we live 4 hours away and I hadn’t seen my close friends in years, my husband said to just have dinner and he would take dog back to the hotel, and stay with her. If it hadn’t been a Friday night over the air show weekend, and if I hadn’t needed to eat (type 1 diabetic who was already crashing), we would have gone somewhere else. A complete let down with no apologies from the manager, no apologies from the bouncer, nothing. The service was slow, the food was ok but nothing special, the only saving grace was spending some time with my girls. I ordered food for my husband to take back to him, the moose burger, and even that was over-cooked. If the dog friendly restaurant is no longer dog friendly after 7PM, this needs to be very clearly stated to someone making reservations. The bouncer needs to learn some boundaries and not feel the need to use his size or hands to intimidate someone. In a situation like this, there should be one apology from someone. Will not be going there or to any other location again.
Booking process was over-complicated but the food was great, we had a table of 11 people and everyone enjoyed it. Music was great too.
The restaurant was far too loud to be able to enjoy food. I literally had to shout across a table for two! The greek salad should be renamed as onion salad! An upgrade on wine glasses would be suggested when charging the prices you do per glass. Staff were very friendly.
