About Dalla Terra
A modern Italian Wine & Cocktail Bar, in a beautiful, hidden oasis in the heart of Covent Garden. We have serviced covered outside tables in a traffic free, quiet and tranquil square, just like you find in Italy and can’t find at home.
We can always accommodate parties of up to 50 and can arrange wine tastings and food pairing menus upon request.
Always love visiting this place! Must be the best wine list in town. Great service, atmosphere, food.
Outstanding experience. Food and wine both of superior quality. Service was excellent - Alice was attentive and a joy to visit with.
Love love love the playlist!! Great food, great service and great atmosphere!!! We will definitely return when we are in London!!!
Exceptional service and knowledgeable staff, very impressed with our visit. Alice is such an asset to the restaurant.
Great wine bar...I’m almost reluctant to give positive feedback as I don’t want the rarity of a upscale, non-crowded great bar in Covent Garden to become widely known...
They have a very good wine list and the food is good. Great place to catchup. Can get quite noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. Perfect for lunch or just having a few cheeky glasses of wine with friends
Way too expensive for what it is. We paid £60 for a bottle + 2 glasses of prosecco. A total rip off!
We love Dalla Terra and will be back!
Great bar for a few glasses of wine, with a great wine selection! Really lovely atmosphere and staff were so friendly
Lively and fun with excellent friendly and attentive service and the food was absolutely delicious. The music was a bit loud - but not too much to spoil our evening
I booked (two weeks or more in advance) a pre-theatre dinner table for 4 on the 28th Nov at 5pm. I was sent a confirmation of the booking. On Tuesday 26th Nov I was sent an Email asking me to confirm the booking and reminding me that the table had to be returned by 6:45 pm. I confirmed the booking and received a response. On Wed 27th Nov at 9:45 pm I was left a voice mail message asking me to call the restaurant. I did this on the morning of the 28th Nov and was told that a party had booked the restaurant and that I needed to vacate the table by 5:30pm. No apology was given, or alternative arrangements or any other gesture to recognise that this was dreadful customer relationship management. The restaurant had a better deal and my party and I were dumped despite several confirmations that the booking had been accepted. We decided not to go. To add injury to insult I then get an Email on Friday 29th Nov asking me how much I liked my dining experience, Guess what? I didn't like it at all. Some response from the restaurant is expected. I live in hope.
Nice Italian food and wine in Covent Garden
Lovely place and excellent service from the staff
We had a wonderful dinner and wine here, lasagna, chicken paillard with French Pinot noir and Italian barbaresca recommended by their sommeliers. Cosy and stylish atmosphere, wonderful service, an amazing choices of wines in a courtyard. We will be going back very soon.
Wonderful buzzy, chic place. Service is always efficient and friendly. The atmosphere, lighting and decor all contribute to making this a really perfect and fun place for drinks and/or dinner. So close to Covent Garden but Dalla Terra doesn't feel touristy or too hectic.
Always love visiting Dalla Terra.... consistently good food, wine and service.
We had a brilliant time, we love the atmosphere you have created. The wine is fab and the food good too.
Always treated well with personable staff. Great food and wine
Great venue and wine choice, sharing boards are lovely.
Everything one wants in a restaurant. Delicious, fresh food; warm service; fun vibe; extensive wine list. We dined there three times during our stay in London and look forward to coming back soon.
Lovely food, some good wine but nothing particularly interesting for the money. We loved our evening but it was genuinely ruined by the time the bill came. £240 for four mains, four desserts, some olives and 1 bottle + 3 glasses of wine seemed extortionate, which is such a shame. Had it not been so expensive, we’d all be recommending it to everyone.
Delicious food. A bit slow to ask if we wanted a drink initially!
Lovely hidden gem in London. I’ve already recommended it to friends
I had an absolutely amazing time here for my 24th birthday party. The food, service and most importantly the wine was faultless! I would definitely recommend anyone to go!
