About Daisy Green
Daisy is a charming grade II listed premises in the heart of thriving Portman Village, just behind Oxford Street. Our downstairs and outdoor vaults have been completely transformed by UK street artist Shuby into an Alice in Wonderland esq secret outdoor/indoor garden, where we serve Aussie brunch & bottomless brunch as well as great artisan coffee & sweets throughout the week and at weekends. During the week we also serve a breakfast bar & healthy lunch from our overflowing 'kitchen table' counter, for eat in and takeaway and our fresh juices as well as fat free smoothies are always free flowing.
Delighted with our experience . Food was delicious but portions could have been a little more generous. Would definitely go again
Brilliant and unusual. Very enjoyable
Absolutely brilliant breakfast! Highly recommended!
Best coffee and service!!!!!
Great food. Lovely service from start to finish. Thanks so much!
Food was really, really lovely- great presentation and flavour Coffee was really cold. Maybe heating the cups first would help? Or serving as prepared rather than bringing them down altogether to save a journey? There seemed to be lots of staff but they were all a bit useless! One girl had an attitude problem, another seemed to be really trying it came across as scatty. We had to wait absolutely ages to pay. Another man just walked over someone else’s cardigan he’d knocked over beforehand, rather than picking it up. The table squeezed in before you go into the second downstairs area should be removed- it comes across as just greedy. You get constantly knocked by the stream of people walking past. It’s not a proper table and if you’ve booked ahead, you feel even more hard done by. The worst bit was the strange ordering system where no one seemed to note your table number. Staff just walked around offering the food to random people before eventually finding the right place. My plate was given to someone else then a few minutes later retrieved. I don’t know why they don’t just number the tables and put it on the order slip? The food was so lovely and the cafe has so much potential but I’d be really reluctant to come back because it wasn’t a pleasant experience.
Delicious food. Great service
Great decor and vibe, and nice to see an indy cafe!
Great venue and delicious meal!
Very pleasant experience, polite staff, delicious dishes. The blueberry pancakes taste like heaven.
Lovely service and fantastic cake!
It was very noisy and not the cheapest brunch, but it was lovely and we sort of made friends with our neighbours as a result of the cosiness. Very busy at 2pm on a Sunday! I'd definitely go again
Great Sunday brunch. I had the banana bread and my friend had the smashed avocado with poached eggs. I would definitely go back for some more!
Really inattentive service. Getting anything was a lengthy challenge. Food really nothing special
One of the foods we had ordered had cashew cream that was definitely spoilt. The staff kindly agreed to change it for something else but we were very surprised that food is not checked to make sure it hasn’t gone off.
Delicious food! Nice breakfast range on the menu. Would recommend!
Service was excellent as always
Fantastic lunch / brunch! Deliciously different dishes and friendly staff.
Amazing as always :)
Our waitress was so lovely! However our drinks took such a long time to come that they had already gone cold. Apart from that, no other complaints. Great atmosphere, amazing food and very friendly staff.
