About Cyprus Avenue
Cyprus Avenue is a licenced, neighbourhood brasserie based in Ballyhackamore. Previously a derelict building, the family owned business was opened in December 2016 serving breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The restaurant has recently doubled in size, with the addition of a new outside dining area furnished using reclaimed solid teak table. During renovations, an 80 year old terrazzo floor was discovered and reconditioned to add an ‘urban chic’ feel to the premises.
The menu is dictated by seasonality, using locally sourced produce. Portraits of the suppliers hang on the walls of the restaurant to demonstrate to the guests where their food comes from. The restaurant has 60,000 bees located on its roof providing urban honey used in many dishes from its daily changing menu.
Check out our Corner Shop within our restaurant which supplies lots of local Irish products
The food was beautiful and the service was great
Grt food grt service
Food could have been hotter.
Black pudding amazing . Would like to have been able to buy some. I had french toast breakfast . So delicious 😋
Excellent food and service in a lovely setting. Staff very helpful and friendly. Restaurant very well equipped for social distancing. Screens between tables very well thought out without ruining the atmosphere of the restaurant. Will definitely be back.
Fabulous food as usual. And great staff. Really enjoy my meals at Cyprus ave
Great meal and great service
Very enjoyable night! Cocktails where great :)
Have been many times to Cyprus Avenue and the high standard of service and food is always consistently good! Always look forward to going back!
This was a lovely meal out. Wonderful food. Nice chilled out atmosphere. We would definitely recommend! 😊
Enjoyed a birthday meal here. Quick to seat us and bottles of water waiting on the table which was great. Good selection on menu. Everyone enjoyed their meal ok. Desserts looked and tasted cheap, wouldn’t bother with desserts again. Service was quick and polite. Felt safe and good atmosphere. Music a little too loud. Overall, an enjoyable visit. Thank you.
Excellent experience with high standards of care taken in relation to Covid. Staff friendly and efficient.
Great service great food
We had a lovely evening. Everything was perfect and we felt safe and protected within the restaurant. The friendly, efficient, knowledgeable staff got everything right. Will be back very soon. In fact we are about to book again for Saturday.
Our first visit to a restaurant post lockdown. Cyprus Avenue has managed to create a super dining experience while adhering to social distancing etc - well worth a visit!
We were a party of 5 and we all agreed the set-up was perfect. Plenty of space, lovely and airy and fabulous service. Food excellent as usual
Disappointed if I'm honest, we were so looking forward to dining at Cyprus Avenue for my sisters graduation. Staff were lovely and very attentive, which was positive. But we were disappointed in our food, two of us ordered duck pancakes for start and although they were nice they was very little duck on the bone compared to when we have ordered them on previous occasions. Steaks were ordered by four for mains and whilst these were lovely, most were overcooked. Myself and mum ordered the lamb flatbread which was minced lamb, burnt up and tasted greasy. I was expecting succulent lamb pieces and we were very disappointed. Also my sister, who's graduation it was, ordered a cocktail which was nice but the table next to us ordered the same cocktail a short while later and theirs came garnished and dressed lovely when hers did not! This is the second time now we have had a less than good experience and feel the restaurant is very hit and miss! Appropriate safety measures were in place on the Friday evening, but I had dined in the restaurant a few nights before with a friend and no masks were worn by staff!!
Lovely lunch, great food.
Flat white was very milky but food was absolutely delicious. We had the squid and lamb. Can’t wait to come back.
Had a wonderful lunch experience at Cypress Avenue at the weekend. Food was incredible and staff all so helpful and friendly. The worst part was having to chose only one main course from the menu. I'll be back soon!!
Everything was lovely, just a little cool for total 5*!
Great experience given the current circumstances...food excellent
A superb experience!
