About Cyprus Avenue
Cyprus Avenue is a licenced, neighbourhood brasserie based in Ballyhackamore. Previously a derelict building, the family owned business was opened in December 2016 serving breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The restaurant has recently doubled in size, with the addition of a new outside dining area furnished using reclaimed solid teak table. During renovations, an 80 year old terrazzo floor was discovered and reconditioned to add an ‘urban chic’ feel to the premises.
The menu is dictated by seasonality, using locally sourced produce. Portraits of the suppliers hang on the walls of the restaurant to demonstrate to the guests where their food comes from. The restaurant has 60,000 bees located on its roof providing urban honey used in many dishes from its daily changing menu.
The food was excellent with a great atmosphere. Outstanding value for money
Excellent meal - we had starters, mains, dessert, wine and cocktails. Flavours and execution of the dishes were on point, service excellent and nice atmosphere. Only minor negative was the cocktails were a little disappointing, one was a little unbalanced and overpowering and the other a little bland but did not take away from the very enjoyable evening and very tasty food.
Absolutely perfect venue and delicious food and wine. Service superb. Thank you Team. CA . We will def return again.
We all had a brilliant night, good food, great service and a lovely atmosphere
More selection of desserts would be appreciated. There were only 2 on offer on Sunday evening. Cheese Board would go down extremely well at as establishment such as this.
Positively the best meal I’ve had for years. Absolutely a stunning meal. Different taste were to die for!!
Gorgeous seafood chowder, great spot for lunch.
Great food / atmosphere - service very sadly lacking by inexperienced staff. I would visit again in the hope you have service issue sorted , as everything else was wonderful. Caroline
Excellent meal with great ambience
Always a friendly welcome with great tasting food!
Had boneless ribs and wife had pork chop, very tasty and well presented food.
This was our first time here and we weren't disappointed! Staff were so friendly and our meal was beautiful. The "wee" ginger biscuit was lovely. Oddly our food came 10 minutes after we had ordered but it was beautiful so no complaints!
We loved it! We were so well looked after. The food and wine were delicious and the service was superb. It’s my second time in Cyprus Avenue and I can’t wait to go back.
Very strange crowd in on the bank holiday Monday. Most drunk. Madelaines not freshly cooked and shrivelled. All other food lovely and waiter did his best but no reaction to the dessert disappointment. About 10th time here but will give it a break now.
What a lovely way to spend time on a special occasion - like it was with us on a wedding anniversary, sat outside in the sunshine, great service, great food - even the in house Cyprus Avenue IPA was good ! What is there not to like ?
Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Cypress Avenue, the service was great and the food was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating, would highly recommend Cypress Avenue to anyone, I know we will definitely be back.
First timers....such a great place! Our waitress, cant remember her name but she was Italian, was absolutely fantastic! Soooo friendly, great sense of humour and really made our night. The food was beautifully cooked and a pleasure to eat!!!! Cant wait to return!
The meal was perfection, our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and great craic. Gave us great advice on food and wine. We will definitely be back soon.
Great food but feel the menu could change a bit more frequently
Excellent service, friendly staff and very knowledgeable and accommodating in regards to two serious allergy’s within the party. Food was very good. Would highly recommend.
Simply superb! Crispy duck pancakes for a starter to share were delicious. My plaice in lime butter fell off the bone and tasted fantastic. The cheese board and glass of ruby port to finish with was a touch of genius.
One of our favourite local spots for an informal early dinner or special birthday meal.
Could do with some music in background a bit more seemed to quiet and change plates to a better size and colour. Waitress very pleasant and friendly.
Great atmosphere and great menu options. Food was lovely, really hot and tasty. Fantastic choice to meet up with friends or family. Would highly recommend and plan to visit again in the near future.
