About Cutlery Works
CutleryWorks is the largest independent food hall in the North, boasting a range of food from top notch sushi & fried chicken, to delicious vegetarian curries and fresh crepes. From coffee beans roasted on site to our in-house chocolate factory, there's plenty to delight. Our independent vendors include a wonderful craft beer bar, and our own bars have a range of softs, cocktails, gin, and carefully curated wine list. All orders can now be placed through our very own app!
Please note that we are currently limiting reservations to 90minutes.
The ordering app was awful and put us off ordering several things.
Love cutlery works and go regularly. However, the new app IBe is dreadful, it takes ages to set up and you have to reset up your payment when you go again. The milestone group app was very good so don't see why they changed it.
Unfortunately this visit was ruined by the new ibe ordering system. I thought the old app was bad, but this new system (that isn't even an app) it's absolutely appalling. Wouldn't recognise where I was, despite having location services turned on, very difficult to browse menus, lost orders when going back. It's enough to put me off coming back. Food and drinks, once finally ordered were great as always. Venue was freezing cold, they seemed to have the air con on blowing at the tables despite it being November!
I don’t know why I haven’t been to the Cutlery Works before now! We will definitely come again
The app is shocking and nearly impossible to order on.
App for ordering food needs improving so you can order from multiple outlets at the same time.
Absolutely amazing sushi and bao buns
We’ve been to Cutlery Works several times since re-opening, the food and service is consistently good and the new procedures have worked very well. Well done everyone, look forward to coming back in December.
Ordered food from the same vendor (2 starters and 1 main) and this was brought at separate times on an (incorrect) assumption we wanted this to happen (when we asked why there was a delay) We simply wanted all the food brought at the same time and hadn't asked for it to be served separately. So whilst my partner was eating their food (2 light starters) I had to wait at least 10 minutes for mine. Very disappointing (though the food was great). Also no sparkling mineral water was available, so was served soda water instead.
Fabulous place for eating and drinking. The safety they have put in place due to covid is excellent
Food was great, but issue with the ordering process meant we had to wait 50 minutes to get it.
We had a lovely meal, thank you!
Myself and my partner always enjoy our visits to Cutlery Works. The food is always amazing and good service.
When we first arrived the lady on reception was very good with explaining the covid-19 procedures in place. She offered us the option of two available tables, however both hadn't been wiped down and had food/drink marks on them which was a shame as we knew they hadn't been sanitised. Other than that the service and food was great, maybe just make sure the tables are clean before offering them to customers.
Lovely last hurrah before the next lockdown
Waited ages after scrolling through the different vendors menus , after waiting well over half an hour and paying for the food the progressing line appeared as rejected by the vendor. We ended up leaving the venue after speaking with the host on duty and calling at McDonald’s as we were so hungry from waiting , not a good experience , I have been to this venue lots of times but it didn’t work out well this time.
Really nice food. Slightly time consuming ordering on the app - and meals came at slightly different times - but understand only way to order due to COVID
Amazing place, very well done given the current restrictions!
Usually such amazing service but Sunday was AWFUL! App had deleted all payment methods so had to re-add, which took 20mins as kept freezing. items were then added to basket twice so had to request refund. Orderd drinks, took 15mins to tell us no lemonade so had to re-order and request ANOTHER refund. All bar 1 meal arrived, everyone else had finished eating when my meal came.. not great when usually so good..
Everything is so fab at cutlery works! The only negative is the app, it’s slow and clunky and still has some issues. It didn’t seem to work at all for me, setting up the app was problematic as it doesn’t notify you an email has been sent with a link. Mine then wouldn’t let me set up a card and when I finally did that it wouldn’t take my payment. Also it didn’t seem to load well when I was using WiFi or my 4g either. My partner managed to get his to work after a while so after half an hour into our reservation we eventually got stuff ordered. Other than that issue, food is great, staff are friendly and it looked like it was keeping up with distancing and safety guidelines!
Great food and drink. Great atmosphere. Kids friendly. I love this place.
I’ve always loved Cutlery Works, but I have to say the new app they’ve brought in is really confusing and hard to navigate. It took us quite a while to order and it sort of ruined the initial excitement we had on arrival. The food was amazing though so that helped bring our spirits back up! Please make the app better for the next time we visit!
Fabulous as always, very professional, felt safe, well looked after and really like the new app!!
Great atmosphere and tables well spaced out. App is a little bit tricky to use but staff were very helpful. The food is tasty but very expensive. We probably wouldn’t have visited if it weren’t for the kids eat fees offer.
I thought the drinks were a a little bit expensive and maybe it could do with a menu to look at for each place as it was hard to see what food they did on a phone but the food and drink is great tasting and the staff were excellent .
