Thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Cultra Inn, lovely menu options and beautiful food from what we picked. Very friendly staff and nice service speed even though quite busy. Would definitely eat there again
Great food, lovely service and very friendly staff.
My family visited the Cultra Inn on Sunday 15 April 2018. We enjoyed the whole experience as it was for my son's 21st birthday. The staff were so courteous and nothing was a problem. I have already recommended this restaurant to all my friend. The value for money on the Sunday Buffet was fantastic too. I loved the layout of the seating areas (privacy aspect). I have NO negative commentto make at all and I am hoping to return to this venue in the near future. Thanks again to all the staff concerned for a brilliant experience.
Menu choice was poor. Only one vegetarian option - it was more like a starter than a main meal. Two medium sirloin steaks ordered, both were well done! Had to ask for steak knives. Desserts were very good and the best part of our meal. Service was very poor - restaurant was nearly empty so no excuse!
Would prefer better vegetarian options as the menu is very meaty
Food was lovely! Atmosphere nice too. Highly recommend!
Lovely accommodating waiter. Not too noisy so suited my 80 year old parents. The only downside was that while my lamb was lovely, half of it was fat. I did feedback to the waiter who passed the feedback to the chef. Will go back in the Spring/summer so we can enjoy the outdoors
Wonderful hospitality welcome and service. Food was exceptional. Truly a fantastic night.
Very nice meal and good service, although an Alternative to the carvery would have been good.
Unfortunately it was particularly quiet for a Saturday evening. We felt rushed by the staff to take our table, order and also to settle the bill. The music was from the 90's which seemed a strange choice of background music. The food however was very good though the menu was limited in choice. I recall the Cultra Inn,, many years ago being the hub of activity on the weekend. It is a shame that the place has stayed with the 90's in the music and décor but the clientele have all moved on to somewhere else. It is certainly time for a makeover and re-launch !
Food was great however was let down by poor seevice. Long time between course..Side came out about ten minutes after main arrived. Had ti ask for condiiments. WIted 30 minutes for the bill..waistress firgot !! At the till they had no idea how to use a gift card had to use a step by step guide the said it was declinned but there was £50. Worked when he tried again. Pricess took about 15 minutes.. Staff were very plesant however not attentive at all. Would put us off coming bsck
Not what I would expect from a 5star hotel.
Friendly waiting staff and comfortable surroundings for family meal
A lovely day, delicious food and attentive staff. Thank you.
I had brought our 3 children for boxing day lunch only to discover the only offer you had was£40 per head.It is a pity i wasn't told this at time of booking. We weren't ready for a big meal the lunchtime after Christmas. We did not stay. I calculated that if we had a bottle of wine and maybe a premeal drink at your prices we would have spent £300 plus. Your website says you have one of Co Downs finest resturants-I cannot comment but you certainly have one of Co Downs most expensive!!
Very mediocre meal. Chowder full of potatoes but tasted nice. Spatchcock chicken was just basically chicken and chips and no vegetables. Restaurant was not busy so do not understand need to pre-order. Restaurant was also on cold side. Can honestly say I will not be back.
This was a Christmas Lunch with work colleagues. At £30 per head the service was appalling, we pre-ordered from the Christmas Menu and there were items missing as described on the menu. The soup was cold, the bottles of wine/presecco were not opened for us. The portion sizes varied enormously, some had very few vegetables, not all courses were accounted for. A person who was coeliac was served the wrong bread, no-one seemed to know the difference although you were informed at the time of pre-ordering.
The staff were very rushed and sped off before we had time to finish our order. We also had to go looking for them in order to get our bill/ put in our food order/ put in our dessert order. They did explain that a staff member had taken sick that morning so they were low on staff.
Great service and food!
Very expensive for what it was. Food ok but not worth the money.
Setting and atmosphere was great. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Really good food and experience.
Very quiet. Staff were welcoming and the fire was cosy
May I just say that we had a brilliant night. It was my husbands birthday and along with the lovely food we had great service. I will definitely recommend the Cultra Inn to my family and friends. Thank you again for a perfect night
We enjoyed our stay in the Culloden and the staff were exceptionally helpful. However one or two minor issues were the heating pipes were clanking for some time as we were trying to get to sleep, also the toilet in the room was very creaky, I actually thought it was going to collapse. Apart from that the staff couldn't have been any more helpful and hope to return again in the near future.
