Situated down near the harbour the views that welcome you are spectacular looking straight out the veranda over the Firth of Forth and on a clear day you feel you could almost touch the Bass rock opposite. The restaurant is light and airy with a modern feel and our bar allows you to have a relaxing drink before your meal if you desire.
Our location in the East Neuk inspires some of our best dishes with seafood being a popular choice we ensure that only the best fresh produce will be utilised. Lunch time we have a lunch menu, evening time a set dinner menu along with a seven course tasting menu giving you plenty to select from. See our sample menus below.
We have a wonderful choice of wines that are carefully selected to compliment the dishes on the menu.

The service is relaxed and friendly with an underlying sense of professionalism. The wine and drinks list are ever evolving reflecting the style of the food and modern trends but at the same time retaining an heir of tradition.
Despite being late due to car problems, the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. They meal was excellent and great value for a first class lunch. Definitely be back.
Thank you for fitting us in when we arrived on the wrong day by mistake!! Our Australian and South African friends thought the food and service were very good indeed. We love visiting Craig Millar and always enjoy our time with you.
Sommelier fantastic: knowledgeable, fun, professional and interested. Other staff: enthusiastic but lacking in finesse.
A most enjoyable meal with very attentive staff.
We had a lovely afternoon, service and food was amazing. I asked for a table at a window and we had a lovely view over the harbour. Thank you
Had a great night out with family and friends to celebrate a birthday. New dishes on the menus didn't disappoint and as always the wines offered matched the dishes perfectly!
Beautiful day in St Monans and an excellent lunch at Craig Millar followed by a walk along the coastal path to Pittenweem. Would thoroughly recommend the restaurant. Great food, very welcoming and excellent staff.
Wonderful family lunch. Food was delicious and service top notch. Very good indeed
We both so enjoy coming to your restaurant as it really is a special experience and your staff so look after us. The food is just the best but maybe just slightly a little more on the plate but not too much as then it would become a feed and would ruin the beautiful brilliance of it all. The flavours are just the best and very thought through !
Gets better and better. Beautiful setting, great service and wine list increasingly interesting too. One of the jewels of the East Neuk of Fife.
Excellent food and service. First time visit but will be back.
Food and service always outstanding. Lunch menu was quite similar to when we were last here in the spring, but that was maybe just bad luck on our part. We all very much enjoyed our lunch though.
Perfect evening and great staff
Amazing food , lovely staff and great setting.
The only minor point - hence 4 stars for atmosphere - is the noise that can come from the "annexe" in the dining area, where you seat large parties. Could anything be done to soften the sound - wall-hangings, perhaps? We were seated near the entrance to that area and the noise (of people enjoying themselves, admittedly!) was troublesome to ourselves and others around us. Otherwise, though, cannot fault Craig Millar. Love this restaurant!
Top quality food, stunning location especially as the sun was out. Friendly and efficient service. Lunch is good value too.
Wonderful lunch. The views from our table were amazing and this was matched by the superb quality of the food and the attentive yet relaxed manner of the staff. All the good things that I had read about the restaurant were thouroughly justified.
The restaurant was quieter than we anticipated, thus only 4 stars. However, one could imagine if busier the restaurant would have a good buzz to it. With regards to the food, the service and our view as to value for money, we just couldn't fault anything. We had come over to Fife for the day as birthday treat for Heather and eating out would normally feature high on the agenda. We were not disappointed in the least. A great setting too. We will be back and will recommend to our friends and family.
beautiful views service impeccable food amazing and always fantastic wines

Lovely food, knowledgeable friendly staff and great value for money - what more could you ask for?
