James and his front of house team impressed as always . Craig’s soufflé continues to shine however each course was delicious partly also due to excellent portioning . A treat indeed
As excellent as always - a warm welcome, great food and efficient service
We enjoyed a lovely lunch on Saturday celebrating our parents' diamond wedding anniversary. The food was excellent and the setting was just perfect. Looking out towards the harbour with the sun shining, you couldn't ask for better. We will return!
Food was amazing, as good as I’ve tasted. The attention to detail made the lunch incredible value.
Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Inventive and tasty dishes, nicely presented. Appreciated the French style 1/4 litre wine carafe instead of the usual Scottish “bucket” glass.
Perfect lunch. Loved the fondant!
Thank you for an awesome dinner. Our food was truly excellent, while the atmosphere and service were absolutely first class. Thank you; that was such a good evening.
Excellent delicious food with friendly staff would highly recommend.
This was a fabulous seafood experience. Only wish we lived nearer ( Worcestershire). Have sent a great Tripadvisor review as warranted by the experience and when next back in the area it is a "no brainer" to repete the visit. Many thanks for a lovely evening and great food. John & Sandra Fox
Memorable meal in a beautiful setting
Excellent food in a great location. Friendly service from the whole team.
Food was superb, all the staff were professional and friendly, views are great. Lunch is excellent value for the quality on offer.
Such a wonderful dining experience from the excellence of the food to the service under the direction of the charming James. It is our favourite restaurant.
Great evening, food was excellent and staff warm, friendly and attentive - a really good night out!
Wonderful meal and attentive service. Just my kind of place. Second visit this year.
Fabulous night, cant wait to get back!
Great restaurant and location!
Fabulous food and great views. Service was second to non
Craig, James and the team looked after us superbly. The octopus terrine, twice cooked cheese soufflé, crusted Halibut and Panna Cotta were all real treats. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommend the food, service and beautiful setting. Thank you!
Really appreciated the fact that you allowed us to have fewer courses and apologise that we didn’t properly understand that it was a tasting menu. Once present health issues are resolved we vow to return and have the full experience!
We were very satisfied about food and service. The young man who was sommelier had a lot of nowledge and businesspride!! Maybe a small advice:we always love it as the chef comes for a short moment at the tables!
We had a fabulous evening. The food was so amazing. The menu was expertly delivered. The wine list is incredible and is helped along by a lovely and very experienced sommelier. 5 stars all round from us.
We were 7 and had a beautiful table with views over the sea. Everything was creative, refined and tasty. Strangely I preferred the meat main course (deer I think) than the fish (hake, not perfectly cooked for me - it was the only weak point. Then the sommelier (James), Very passionate wine geek, gave us smart advices for an English 'cremant' sparkling wine and exquisite Portuguese white wine with unknown tastes for us. So really excellent dinner in far away at monans from our home in Toulouse.
