Seriously amazing. The food is great. The prices reasonable. But what really makes CoVino a standout is the warmth of the staff that make the entire experience so memorable. Away from the well-worn tourist path, you feel you've stepped into a cozy, creative, and local spot. It's the first item on my list of recommendations to friends visiting Venice.
Tutto perfetto continuate così
I live this place: good food and wine, excellent ambiance.
Excellent food, very fresh and large variety to enjoy, slightly off the main thoroughfare, definitely worth taking the time to try. Absolutely wonderful time.
Great service, extremely competent personnel. Food is remarkable: while solidly positioned within the Venetian tradition, the chef is not afraid of experimenting with both taste and texture. Ingredients are obviously sourced with extreme care. Pricing is surprisingly appropriate. I'd go every week, if they weren't located 6000 miles from where I live.
Wonderful food and great proprietor makes everyone welcome and happy
I was a little disappointing with at lunch at CoVino. The staff weren't very friendly and seemed to hurry us along as if they wanted us to leave. When yo order you have to order a desert as well as a main even if you don't want one, s the price is more expensive. My boyfriend had a meat dish which was too chewy to eat and our plate of cheese for dessert was only 1 type of cheese which was bland in comparison to others I've tried in the region, and also cost an extra 3 euros on top of the set price for main and dessert. I tried much better food in Venice during my stay.
Ambiance très agréable et plats délicieux!!
Interesting and welcome concept. We can see why there are negative comments about the service but those on trip advisor go too far. We will definitely be coming back.
Very good good and wine
Where do I start. Never have we encountered such rude abrupt staff. If they don’t want to do their job they should stay away. We ordered wine and the lady that served us opened the bottle and poured herself a glass before serving us! Her tasting of our wine. The explanation of the menu was poor and on the whole it was the most disappointing meal and service we have ever encountered. We will not be back.
This tiny upscale restaurant is worth a visit. The food was expertly prepared and the service is spot on.
young and knowledgeable people working there, great food and excellent wine reccomendation for our meal...we will be back!
Had the wine pairing. Great food
Everything was wonderful, a great experience in every way. Highly recommended, an extraordinary experience.
A presto, Marta
Go, Go, Go. You will not regret it.
Amazing little bistro in Venice - felt like a local dining in my neighbourhood restaurant! Delicious food and great service!
Tiny gem in busy area.
Blind wine pairing was fun. Very small space,so there is limited seating. Reservations are a must.
I loved the evening we spent here, we sadly had to leave early due to no fault of the restaurant so we didn’t get to experience the whole slow vibe at the end, I really liked what I had (whole fish and the pasta starter) my friend care for her main but didn’t but she didn’t carefully read her menu so again no fault of the restaurant!!! I would 100% book here again and come a bit earlier as it can be a long lovely meal if you let it !!! Thank you !!! Just such a special little place in a truly unique city.
It’s hard to imagine how this could be better. By far the best value in Venice (and I’ve been visiting at least annually for 35 years).
