About Cosy Club Manchester
Part of the iconic Corn Exchange, Cosy Club Manchester is a grand affair at the heart of the city centre. Built in 1903, and once busy with traders, it fell into decline during the 1930s depression. However, it gradually came back to life over the years, thriving with market stalls, traders and small shops (including the legendary Harry Hall Cycles) before declining again in the 1990s.
Now it’s been renovated and is the perfect space for drinks and dinner. We’ve kept plenty of original features, including the staircase and tiles, as well as some neat touches like the domed glass ceiling in the bar. The bar itself is a bit of a character and comes from an old pub at Liverpool Lime Street station called ‘The Head of Steam’.
The main floor is split into two rooms. With floor to ceiling windows, the Exchange Room catches the bright morning sun, whist the Cathedral Room is perfect for watching the sun set over the cathedral skyline. Across both rooms there’s space for 140 Cosy Clubbers - and even more in the sun trap outdoor area. If you fancy a really private evening, head to the Circle Parlour which has just enough space for two leather arm chairs and a hand-crafted wooden dresser made just for us. Enjoy!
Extremely good food and service. Staff all welcoming and friendly.
Restaurant seems a bit isolated, which resulted in lack of atmosphere. Condiments served in ordinary containers seemed a bit below par. Ok value for money.
We had a lovely meal here for the family part of my hen weekend: the food was beautiful, the atmosphere was lovely, the staff were wonderful and the mojitos were lush! Definitely recommend!
Bad service from start to finish & there was gristle in my food so we left ASAP. Would never recommend or return. We had one drink & a startes & we were still there for 1.5hrs as the service was so slow & we kept having to find staff.
Great experience! Nice atmosphere and good selection of food! Will definitely be returning! The board games were also a great touch!
It was my first visit, for my birthday/hen do. Our waitress was called Amy, who was absolutely lovely. Very warm & chatty. The food was extremely tasty & excellent value for money. I honestly cannot wait to attend again.
Lovely food!!! A great vegan menu!
The food was delicious, and the fact you can play board games after dining is a winner!
This was my second visit the first experience being excellent, we waited over an hour for our starters & when they arrived they were cold so had to be remade. The waitress though was fantastic & very apologetic it appears the kitchen cant cope when they are busy plus there were only 3 staff on tables that I could see but they coped brilliantly with a packed restaurant.
Our waitress Steph was attentive and polite. The food was lovely and quick service.
Thanks for looking after us. Great to see such a good range of vegan options.
Been here a few times. One of my favourite places to go in manchester
We would have preferred to sit in the section overlooking the Corn Exchange atrium as the restaurant was a bit dark and quiet. However, the food was very tasty and the staff friendly.
Would be back in a heartbeat, food, drinks and staff were all wonderful! Already recommended to work colleagues and am booking for a team meal out in a couple of weeks too!!!!
Fantastic place, great menu and staff! Food was good but not great as were the milkshakes. Very watery and not so tasty
The dessert was really overpriced and the side with the main meal wasn't very hot. While the service was polite and friendly it was quite slow and not very efficient.
Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and good food, what more can you ask for? :-)
I think the place has a lovely atmosphere its truely is cosy. I went on a quiet night for some dinner and a few drinks. The later it got sadly the service was a bit slower on drinks even though it wasn't that busy. However i would definitely go back as I really enjoyed my evening!
Very good. Only 4 star as waitress was a bit unsure how to make & present pinks and lemonade, one meal came out before the rest (waitress did take it back to the pass, and take a few drinks off the bill), and it was quite quiet inside - most were outside in the sun. Overall didn't spoil the trip and will definitely be back/recommended. Fantastic range of gluten free options.
Fantastic place, loved the feel of it all, would come back for food but also just for a nice quiet drink
Good staff and good prices
It was too hot inside on a warm day. Prosecco much for expensive than wine. Waiter was lovely, food was good.
Really nice place to eat in a good part of time. Was a little quiet but I think it was because it was sunny a lot of people were outside. Really friendly staff and lovely food.
Really enjoyable, great views, great food and great service. Looking forward to going back.
Love coming here, the food and staff are nice and it's a very relaxed atmosphere
