About Cosy Club Bath
Bath Cosy Club is a beautiful bar and restaurant. We’re located in the heart of Bath’s new SouthGate shopping centre.
Don’t be fooled by our bijou entrance (opposite the main entrance to Debenhams). You can use the lift or stairs to access an absolutely stunning first-floor bar restaurant. Complete with a Coliseum-esque balcony and outdoor terrace seating overlooking Southgate Place.
The open-plan first-floor space is split into separate bar restaurant & dining areas & has an overall capacity for 300 guests.
The bar area comprises of an Art Deco-inspired snug & a roomy bar area, which is dominated by an impressive gin-palace-style bar. The look is completed with leather club chairs, sink-into sofas, Art Deco coffee tables and velvet pouffes. Not to mention our beautiful chandeliers and a pair of feature Art Deco uplighters (from the set of Jeeves & Wooster).
The dining area has seating for up 110 guests & a further 66 guests on the balcony. The interior is an eclectic mix of reclaimed tables, old leather dining chairs, reclaimed railway waiting room benches, old lab stools, Victorian lampshades & Eastern European factory lights. On the raised area, complete with a couple of feature antler chandeliers, the walls are adorned (literally covered) with old oil paintings & prints. The simply stunning balcony is easily one of Bath’s most impressive al fresco dining spots, where you can people-watch to your heart’s content.
She might be in a new-build but we think she’s an absolute bloomin’ stunner!
We had a lovely evening, the food, and cocktails! were fantastic. The staff were all friendly and attentive too.
Amazing and friendly atmosphere We will be back here again soon :)
We love the Cosy Club. Always such a fantastic atmosphere!
We had a great time for my birthday meal. Food and drinks were great and very friendly staff.
Staff were friendly, waited a while for starters but everything followed quickly. Great range of drinks.
Great food and lovely atmosphere
Morning Rachel, Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback, we are so happy you had a lovely time with us and look forward to seeing you again soon! Kindest Regards Maria
The service was incredibly slow, both for our drinks and food. Food was mostly okay, but breakfast brunch bacon was dried up. Waitresses very pleasant and good atmosphere.
Morning Linda, Thank you for taking time to send us your feedback, i'm so very sorry to hear your experience wasnt 100%. I can see it was busier than expected when you visited with us and i have spoken to the Manager on Duty to ensure this level of service doesn;t happen again. I hope to see you again soon to regain your trust in us and show you the true Cosy Club way. Kindest Regards Maria
Excellent food and drinks menu, friendly service.
Morning Kate, Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback, we are so happy you had a lovely time with us and look forward to seeing you again soon! Kindest Regards Maria
Really sad to say this was a hugely disappointing meal for my daughters 18th Birthday-Not even a damp, squib Firework!!!! On the Website the Cosy Club indeed looked Cosy, atmospheric and just up our street. In reality the continual dum, dum, dum background beat against non discernable music was annoying. Four steak were ordered-we were instantly laughing however when one resembled a Beefburger. The Chocolate Pot my son ordered made no mention of strawberry which he is allergic to. Had the table for 1 hour 45 allegedly on the Website but couldn't wait to get out quick enough. Stopped on the way home at a Village Pub which was indeed Cosy-coincidentally could have had a 10oz Steak there and rapidly surmised could have spent approximately £40-£50 less for our meal. All in All a Huge Disappointment would neither return nor recommend.
Dear Becky Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent visit to Cosy Club Bath, I’m sorry to hear that on this occasion it is not a positive one. Firstly, can I apologise for the missed acknowledgment of your daughter’s birthday. We pride ourselves on top notch hospitality so it is very disappointing to read that on this occasion it was below par and for this I am truly sorry. Having looked at your booking notes I can see that you were sat on a table that should comfortably sit 4, I’m sorry to hear that you felt squashed and we would have been happy to try and move you to a more satisfactory table would we have known your frustrations. I’m also sorry to hear of inconsistency with your steaks, we have since brought this feedback to the attention of our meat supplier to ensure we are receiving nothing but the best standard moving forward. I can assure you this is not the Cosy Club norm, I do hope in time we can welcome you back to Cosy Club Bath as I’m confident you’ll have a much improved visit. Kind Regards Peter Merriam General Manager Cosy Club Bath
Food was delicious, I had three tapas dishes and can highly recommend the salt and pepper squid. However service was a little slow and seeing as it was a quiet Tuesday evening I would worry about visiting on a busy weekend night.
we really enjoyed our meal- the choice was great and so was the quality of our meals, desserts and drinks.
Everyone had a great time - Brilliant choice of food for everyone including the fussy eaters in the group. Fantastic happy staff who were happy to help and check on you. Superb flavours and quality food for the price you pay, so well worth a visit. Thanks Cosy Club. Hope to see you soon.
I always enjoy the Cosy Club experience. It has such ambience & style. I'm loving the range of cocktails available & the Mac'n'cheese is utterly divine!
The service and menu choice at the cost club is always great, everyone is friendly and the food is always amazing can't wait to go back soon
Greta time yet again
We were happy with our second visit to Cozy Club in Bath. We have visited the Taunton one too and I do prefer the Tarunton building and atmosphere but Bath is lovely. The waitress was very good - as were all the staff. W have no complaints about any of them The slightest niggle was that two other tables arrived after us but were served after us. Luckily it didn't matter. We had a nice meal.
Fantastic service, we had a pram and high chair and we were made to feel it was no trouble.
Great service, delicious food - ideal place for a brunch with friends!
Great night out having dinner at Cosy Club! The gluten free sirloin steak with chimichurri sauce was delicious! Ordered it medium towards well-done (no bleeding for me but still tender) and the chef got it perfectly right! The door to the outdoor seating area was open and, since out table was a bit close to it, I was feeling a bit chilly but, other than that, everything great! Love the online booking app!! And the waitresses' prompt and kind service! Will definitely go back!
Was served stale bread which was changed for some more that was less stale. Apart from that all was ok.
Great time again, but the tapas are no where near as good as they used to be
Usually can't fault this place ..but this time the service was slow staff stood chatting instead of serving. And we ordered a panini with no chillies and it came out with chillies in ,all the waitress could say was well I did pass this onto kitchen staff when I said no chillies.. All round put me right off..finished my drink and left...now we were meeting other people for cocktails so you did yourselves out of quite a bit of custom as we decided to meet elsewhere in bbc the end.
Lovely service, amazing food but just a bit on the expensive side.
Only 'found' the Cosy club a couple of months ago and since then we have been back nearly every week. Excellent service, food and cocktails! Also child friendly what could be better !
Good time yet again
