Had a lovely meal at colquhoun's. Portions were just enough! Fish was tasty. My fiance's shin of beef was lovely and tender but could have had more veg! Service was excellent.
Fantastic meal and service! The strawberry daiquiris were amazing! 3rd visit and will be back
New menu does not have as much choice as previous menu and some dishes are small like the beef. Although all food was delicious.
Excellent cuisine and rapid, friendly service in a well designed setting. Only wish we could have seen it in summer!
Dinner was fantastic and service couldn’t be faulted!
lovely food great service
Lovely restaurant with views over the Loch. Food was amazing
Great, creative menu with particularly welcome choices for vegetarians.
There were a couple of starters not available on the lunch menu. We had about 4 different waiters/waitresses serve us which meant we had to keep repeating requests for things i.e water napkins. We have eaten here many times on a Saturday or Sunday and both service and quality of food have been better. Overall feeling of either being short staffed in the kitchen and or not "preparing for the numbers who had booked for lunch. It was a disappointing visit which we had especially made to treat our family friend for her 90th birthday lunch. Some of our friends are due to attend a wedding here on the 20th and we hope that at least they will have a better experience. Thanks Mr and Mrs Bruce
Food was good although did take some time to come, had asked when booking for a table next to window but on arrival we were seated somewhere else, staff service better than previous visits but still had to ask for more tea/coffee or drinks from bar, I would return again as like location and food.
Had to prospone visit till 26th due to weather. Place was deserted when we arrived. As my partner was having a beer we asked for 1 glass of prosecco to be brought at a time but were served both together. We then waited 40 minutes to be served our afternoon tea while 2 waitresses folded napkins and chatted. Hot food was lukewarm when served so must have been lying in kitchen. 3rd time having afternoon tea and the view is stunning but not sure if I would come back based on this experience
Excellent value for money. Great service.
The young girl who worked at Cameron house before working with yourselves had some exemplary attention to detail can’t fault her helpfulness and commitment to what she was doing all round amazing service from her
Lovely afternoon tea served in lovely restaurant overlooking the loch. Service was excellent and the staff very attentive and pleasant. First time visiting but will certainly be back.
We had an itison voucher for use of the spa and afternoon tea. I didn’t feel the selection was as good as the previous time we have been . Especially my gluten free selection. There was no scones so instead I got some shop bought custard creams and bourbon creams. I find this a little disappointing as we did book a few weeks in advance and surely the chef would have been advised of dietary requirements. On the positive side the staff are always very attentive and very polite. The venue and the view is also fantastic.
Lovely restaurant and staff with amazing views over the loch! The only thing that let it down was both mine and my partners chips were a bit under cooked and still hard in the middle.
Food was good albeit a little cooler than I would have wanted & was over-priced. The atmosphere was flat, no background music or buzz - there was a wedding on which may have contributed to this. Location is spectacular and service was very good which helps to bring overall rating back to average.
Really enjoyed the experience, the only comment I would make was that the potato scones were slightly overdone and we had to ask for clean knives for our scones. Would do this again.
Staff all very friendly and helpful.
Lovely food and service
Excellent value for afternoon tea. Delicious food, helpful staff and a really good experience
