Food was very good and staff so friendly. Only downside was a wedding party in adjoining bar who were extremely loud.
It is a beautiful place to eat and the food was lovely. The service let it down. We had afternoon tea, but I had to ask for the tea and the order wasn’t right.
We went for the afternoon tea, twice in 2 weeks, so that should say enough about how good it was. The little savoury bites to start are so delicious, their scones were still warm and so soft, then the cakes were absolutely amazing. Some changes at each visit too, but all as amazing as the other. The views out over the loch are breathtaking too.
Lovely restaurant and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Cocktails were fantastic too.
Starters were tasty and presented really well. The catch of the day was fresh, batter was light and chips were perfect. So.how disappointed I was with the Masala curry. The sauce wasn't homemade, clear jarred and had been prepared to.inckude a few vegetables with chickpeas. Since I had ordered chicken, there had been 4 bits of precooked chargrilled chicken added to make the dish chicken tikka masala. This was the type of quality I would expect at a Wetherspoons restaurant on a bad day, but at least they would serve the curry with a decent amount of rice. I ate the meal as like most prepacked meals they are palatable, but I did give feedback to the lovely waitress.
Food was of a poor quality for the setting - particularly breakfast where food was more akin to that served at a Premier or Holiday Inn. Service was very slow and unhelpful - largely due to too few staff serving. All in all it is only the view that redeems this restaurant.
Extremely disappointed service was not friendly at all, food was nice but not worth the money it cost. Paying for the surroundings and not the food
The restaurant has been renovated since our last visit and it looks great. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.
We have visited Lodge on Loch Lomond several times and it does not disappoint. Food and service excellent.
Afternoon tea was delicious, would highly recommend. Next time I go I want to have lunch the food looked lovely
We thought the menu a little limited and the service slow. Service was poor at breakfast, when plates ran out and people were left standing unable to get their food. When the lack of plates was pointed out to the waitress, she carried on wiping tables. The other staff were pleasant and did their best at a busy time.
a lovely experience which I look forward to repeating in the not too distant future.
The view when we walked through the door blew us all away. Enjoyed a lovely leisurely lunch in a relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to going back
We enjoyed our afternoon tea but did have to wait 25 minutes before our food arrived. By this time our tea/ coffee was either finished or cold
Our server was exceptional. When we’re forgotten by the kitchen she stepped in and gave us the best experience possible. We loved our whole experience. Thank you.
I ordered the monkfish and there was no mention of other meat in the dish on the menu. I don’t eat red meat and there was definitely some sort of pork in the dish. Luckily my husband had ordered fish and chips so we could swap. The serving staff were very apologetic and it wasn’t a huge issue, but it could easily have been if I’d not been eating meat for religious reasons.
The food was nice, but I would have expected more bread at the table. Three small rolls was disappointing. My son has a limited diet and we often have to rely on bread to fill him up. We were provided a jug of water but no glasses and had three different waiters which left the service feeling impersonal.
Food was nice. Monkfish portion could have been bigger and better filleted, the duck was a bit overdone but both were nice over all. The service and staff were very good.
Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea
Sat by the window. Amazing view, amazing food.

Lovely food, great , clean environment, pleasant staff. Location & ease of booking excellent.
Felt warm and welcoming, would recommend a visit.
