The whole experience was excellent. Lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes served for the afternoon tea. Very relaxing with a lovely setting. Staff were pleasant and attentive. Would certainly recommend and return.
We booked afternoon tea and it was lovely. We had a good seat next to a window and the selection of food was very good. We enjoyed the unusual addition of sausage rolls and haggis bonbons.
Food was amazing and service top quality
Fabulous afternoon tea with stunning views over Loch Lomond.
Thank you for a lovely evening meal which we had booked for our parents Golden Wedding anniversary. The staff were welcoming and friendly and my parents really enjoyed the small treat they gave them.
Great place, lovely renovation in the restaurant but unfortunately the very nice young staff are not focused on the customer. We were served our afternoon tea food very professionally by a young man but despite waving , no one paid any attention to me. Therefore, despite getting up and asking twice for the tea part it took a further third time to try and get some served. We were given liquid well over half way into our food. The food was excellent incidentally. The staff are lovely but the service is a bit out of sync.more training needed and basic service like serving tea with afternoon tea is a useful start.
Fabulous views out on to Loch Lomond whilst enjoying a lovely lunch. Excellent service.
Great setting, friendly service and good food.
My husband and I had a lovely afternoon tea in the restaurant overlooking Loch Lomond. Beautiful venue, lovely food and attentive staff, will definitely be back.
As regular visitors over the past 15 years - it is amazing to see the investment that has been made in the restaurant. Stunning interior, gorgeous food and excellent staff.
food was excellent and first class service.
Fantastic location and wonderful food, the calamari and kale pakora starters were amazing as was the spiced lamb and catch of the day main courses. Service was patchy but there was a large wedding party at the bar when we arrived and this maybe affected the service. I would definitely return
I LOVE this place and LOVE this restaurant. The quality of the food is of the highest order. The staff couldn't do enough to make sure you have a pleasant experience. My only slight moan would be that I would like there to be more choice on the menu. I see why they have what they have as they can focus more on their dishes and make them to the quality they do but a bit more choice wouldn't go a miss. See you again soon!
Fabulous afternoon tea! Staff went above and beyond and a lovely experience! Recommend!
Venue is lovely. We got married here 2 years ago and feel the renovation has really benefited the restaurant. Only thing I would mark down is the price and options for food. A lot of starters and mains don’t mix well and overpriced for what you get. Service has improved since our last visit and staff very friendly.
Lovely food in glorious surroundings. We had booked for morning tea on a deal. Terrific value. The staff were all lovely. Only thing I would mention is that it would be good if the staff told you what to expect and if you wanted everything on offer. Just a minor thing which in no way spoiled our experience. We will certainly return.
We ate at the restaurant two nights. The first night service was very slow and the staff seemed a bit flustered however the second evening service was much better and in timeframes expected. The food on both evenings was excellent.
Staff are so lovely and nothing was a bother.
Due to the fact you cancelled our already booked stay at your lodge on Loch Lomond hotel less than 7 days before we were due to arrive we did not eat in your restaurant as we were not able to be there due to your decision. As explained at the time the fact this was our 20yr wedding anniversary and we wanted to stay with you as it’s the first place we spent time together 20yrs ago Just made it even more disappointing. So we are unable to do anything but give you a poor rating.
Lovely setting. Restaurant has recently been upgraded. Soup/Sandwich deal is superb value for money.
First time dining experience for a special occasion. Fantastic location, food, staff, service, will definitely return in the near future! Thank you all !
Excellent afternoon tea, lovely food, well presented served by exceptional staff who couldn’t do enough for you, one of the best! Well done
Food was superb, minor complaint no peas with fish and chips , service excellent !😀
