Was disappointed that the usual "Sunday Roast" deal is no longer available. Also the outside terrace is looking very tired and dated looking. Decking and Fencing could do with being spray washed or even replaced and the tables and chairs don't took great either. Not to mentioned it's full of cobwebs Just a little TLC and proper cleaning needed to the outside terrace, .
Visited for morning tea, the food was lovely and service was good, the atmosphere was noisey due to other guests checking out however it did get quieter
This restaurant had everything. Lovely food, amazing views and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Second time here and will definitely return soon.
Excellent value reallly enjoyed the morning tea. Lovely views and atmosphere
Excellent service from friendly staff.
This is a lovely restaurant and lovely setting and staff are very attentive thanks again .
Catered for a party of 12 perfectly
Pleasant afternoon tea.Reasonable value itison deal. Staff very helpful and gave a description of everything set before us.
Great service, great food and fantastic location.
Good food, great service and beautiful scenery. Well worth a visit.
The setting and view was perfect. Watched the sun go down over the Loch. Service was a little slow but didn’t spoil the evening.
I went for afternoon tea with my mum was use of the spa. We both loved it. Thought it was well worth the money.
My husbands starter was Luke warm. My husband also order chicken curry - the chicken was in our opinion of poor quality and the Naan bread was rock hard and cold. My daughter ordered a mouse for dessert but after waiting for almost 25 mins we made a decision to cancel it. Overall not very impressed for a 4 star hotel. We did ask on arrival if there was availability to stay another night as we are travelling around and thought it would be a nice hotel to stay in on our return trip but after our r experience we decided not to book
The view is magnificent and we had plenty of time to enjoy it as the service was abysmally slow - including more than 20 minutes to get the bill. I hate to think how long we might have waited had the restaurant been busy The steak sandwich was really good but would have been even nicer ( and would have looked better) on a roll rather than sliced bread. The white chocolate collation was peculiar. I could not identify the flavours but they were not very nice and the slabs of crumble were teethbreakingly solid - crumbled would have been more digestible and also would have looked better.
Lovely setting, friendly staff, food nice.what more do you need??
This was a gift so can’t coment on value for money. I would however be going back.
Really enjoyed! Also booked in for leisure access and was a bit disappointed about the jacuzzi being out of order, but the breakfast tea was lovely! Can’t fault it at all!
What a shame! Should be a great experience with that view, but from entry to exit it was not pleasant. Service was barely present, food was poor and my friends inedible! Couldn’t wait to get out. Sorry to be so blunt, but it really was a poor experience.
Friendly and welcoming. Relaxed atmosphere. Food was lovely. Will visit again
We had a fantastically relaxing stay at Lodge on Loch Lomond. Definitely planning a return visit.
Second visit as first was so good. Used 5pm voucher for lunch and booked a third time! Staff were fantastic.
Despite a rather miserable day we really enjoyed our time in the restaurant. No complaints and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you.
Fantastic food served at a stunning setting. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Will definately visit again.
We had a beautiful meal on the first evening of our stay. The food, view, service and staff were all without fault. Our meal started with a tasty morsel (don't remember the name) which was lovely and kept us going until our main course arrived. Both meals were beautifully presented and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Breakfast next morning was varied, plentiful and tasty and staff were very attentive. We will be back x
