About Coggings & Co
Coggings & Co is a fantastic gourmet burger restaurant which has won countless awards since opening in 2014.
Our aim is to serve great burgers, made with local ingredientsthat have been sourced with care, prepared with skill and served with warmth. Our committment to sustainability is second to none and we have the highest possible rating from The Sustainable Restaurant Association.
Our burgers are made onsite each day with steak from a local Sussex farm. Each glorious burger is served with chips cooked in either beef dripping or vegetable oil and it's easy to see why Coggings & Co recently won the title of 'best burger' in The Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Awards.
We take the same care over our children's menu and our drinks list features over 20 local beers from Sussex as well as a great range of English wines and organic wines from futher afield.
The Sunday Times recently listed Coggings & Co as one of the top restaurants in The UK for meals under 20.00 a head which shows how much everybody has come to love the food and service at this great family restaurant.
Sadly none of us enjoyed it very much. We have been regulars since the restaurant opened and are sad to see that the standards were much lower in all areas. But most importantly the burgers.
Really good quality food but really sad that you've removed the beef shin burger from the menu.
Great burgers, great service. Just a bit concerned that Coggings is loosing the wow factor we've experienced in the past. The chips (are extra, not served with burger as stated) are no longer offered cooked in Veg oil or beef dripping, the website still has a (dead) link to the Christmas menu half way through March, reviews dating back to 2014, and out of date menus.
Very good meal, food, drink, service and atmosphere. Would recommend to friends and family
I enjoyed everything. The one thing I’d love is to have the burger itself more rare. All of the extras and sides were delicious.
Outstanding burger and great service!
The service was amazing, food was wonderful, lovely experience all round
Great friendly service ... scrumptious food as normal! Shame we are now living in London otherwise it would still be our Saturday lunch location !
If you can make it to dessert - try! We had the baked cheesecake on Valentine's night and it was fantastic :-)
Best Burger we've ever had!!!! loved the chips!!!!
Back again, amazing burgers, lovely staff, definitely worth a visit :)
Brilliant in every respect! What’s not to like!
Nice to meet the new management: very welcoming and good luck with the new plans.
Excellent food and service. Restaurant was quiet as it was early but staff very friendly.
Lovely meal as always
This is a family restaurant with loads of kids - as a couple, you have to go with that atmosphere.
Really good quality tasty food. Beef dripping chips are aa must. Also has great gluten free options!!
We booked a Christmas work lunch, food was really good and I know we asked for the food to be ready for when we got there and pushing pre-order forward an extra 30 mins , amazingly it was ready as soon as we sat down! We at Enterprise will be back in the New Year for sure! Chloe
Fantastic service and food Highly recommended.
Enjoyed a lovely relaxed lunch yesterday. Really liked the chips. Service was good, staff friendly and helpful.
Everything was fine.
Within 2 minutes of sitting down we were told that we had 90mins to have our meal as the table was booked, despite us booking well in advance. Not the best start to an evening as we felt rushed. Automatic charity donation was added to our bill that we queried and it turned out to be small note on our table that we was easily overlooked - happy to support charity but please make aware upfront to avoid awkward situations with querying items on the bill. Otherwise food was great and speedy service.
Excellent evening although the Falafel burger was a little bland - made up for by the onion rings though.
