Nice food and good service😊
The Japanese sushi rice were not fresh.
The cooked food is terrible. The salad bar and the poke bar are very good. The ice cream is good. So is the bread and cheese bar. The coffee bar is not bad.
Salmon selection was good. However variety was not much. Not much meat & seafood was limited. Without the 1 for 1 it would not be value for money.
The foods really taste good
Very nice ambience
The food was good but the service was disgusting, the chefs at service were least interested and you had to wait endlessly for everything. The wait staff was serving people with frowns. Really disappointed with this and won’t be back again,
Would be good to see Clove offer different buffet menu and that will definitely attracts more customer
I specifically call in to ask whether they are serving Alaska crab leg, the person who answered replied yes. Came out it’s just snow crab leg. Having said so, the meat wasnt fresh and it was not topped up frequently .
Not sufficient variety of food, though quality of food is good.
Chamomile tea bags were not replenished when ran out.
Replenishment is a little slow
Very smooth and good experience from the booking to the food to the atmosphere. Wonderful! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
Love the friendly service and the ambience and the food of course.
Plates from our table were cleared seldomly. Had to call staff to clear the table. Liked the following: - variety of salad dressing, ice cream and tea - vegetarian pita in Impossible section - hummus - cold seafood section - Japanese section (smoked salmon is a plusl
Some of the dishes could have been cooked properly.. The cold scallops seemed over cooked. Metal forks to be used to eat stuff like snails. It was difficult for me to pick out the flesh from then when I ate it.
Ambience was great, quality of food was excellent but food spread could have been larger. Service was excellent, cleaned the plates very fast. Mr. Venkadesan served well gave us a complimentary birthday cake Was fantastic. Overall good but dessert section was tiny.
Service generally was good except for the chef frying fish. He was kind of grumpy, perhaps he had a bad day. The beef rendang taste was good but the beef is hard. Dessert sweetness perhaps can be lowered to make it healthier, but was nice.
Am surprised some dishes / food are not replenished eg the soft cheeses. Just a slice is out put that barely feed 4 people. The beef rendang and beef stew were flavourful but spoilt by the tough meat. Rice in the sushi tasted like overnight rice and had pebble like texture. This is my third time there in as many months. The food in the previous times were much better.
Food varieties is good.
We reserved for 7 pax, but the staff only provide 6 pax seats with additional side chair for us!! Variety foods but the cooking style need to improve!
You can add additional beverage like fruit juice or softdrinks, best if a nice music can be playing to add good ambiance
Overall based on the above conditions - majority of us had enjoyed the gathering - especially the desserts / "poke it" bar /kway chup station / salad bar.
As a regular at Cloves, would like to see the spread of food refreshed.
