I was very disappointed on several counts. The female on reception at 11am was gruff, no smile and very unwelcoming. Our waitress was the same. Staff need to smile and at least look like we’re not an inconvenience. A waitress dressed in black was lovely ..the only one. I had booked a bottomless brunch and was told we could only have breakfast which didn’t have the choices on I’d seen when booking and the food was lukewarm. We were also refused a change of table which was requested due to the sun beaming in. This can cause me to have migraines. Overall a pretty poor and disappointing experience..not what I expect from the Hilton.
Thanks for everything.
Our afternoon tea was a fantastic experience however I had tried to change the time on my booking both by phone which I tried several times (and gave up after hanging on for over 10 minutes each time) and by email (to which I had no response). Your staff were lovely and very knowledgeable about the food and drink. thank you for a great afternoon.
Felt like we could of been offered a refill on the food
I mentioned we were visiting as it was my mother’s 60th birthday. This wasn’t booked last minute, however there was no acknowledgement of this, and we weren’t given a table near the window which was very disappointing. When we asked whether we could be seated next to the window, the waitress said she would try and find us a table and get back to us. She didn’t come back to us at all for the rest of the afternoon. Very disappointing. I appreciate it was very busy, however, I feel that some extra touches to the table to acknowledge my mums birthday would have cost nothing and made the day special. I did request this when making the booking. We spent a lot of money and unfortunately I feel we were treated as just another transaction, not there for anything special.
I booked this for my daughters 21st birthday and was very disappointed! We had been to a pantomime and I booked afternoon tea at cloud 23, as I’ve had friends that said it was brilliant and wanted to end the day on a high. When we arrived we was given the Christmas menu when that wasn’t what I booked. My daughters don’t eat minces pies, Christmas cake, gingerbread men etc so it was all left. When I told the waiter as it was left in touched he just apologised. We was in there 25 mins at most. If I had wanted the Christmas menu I would have booked it, so we wasn’t exspecting it.
Amazing views, and some of the best cocktails we have tasted 👌
Service took ages , food and drink overpriced but views are amazing
Over all experience was good but been kept waiting at the lift downstairs for 20 minutes when we had pre booked months In advance was annoying and not very accommodating when we had paid for our table.
The staff were amazing and very friendly.
Everything was beautiful and worth every penny
Venue was lovely - although seat was dirty so we moved. Sandwich and cakes especially were lovely and such a good choice. As were the drinks - we had champagne afternoon tea and couldn't fault anything.
Nice for a first time experience, as a group I think it was interesting to go, now that I know what the set up is like you'd be better going as two people for a chance to sit at the windows
Lovely afternoon tea, happy with the venue, atmosphere and food and drinks. We had a male waiter who was pleasant and female waitress who was rude and had a bad attitude. We were a party of 6 and were sat in a place really only for 5 people and only had 5 places set. When one of the party asked for a tea cup and place she reluctantly came back with one thing at a time and each time she was asked for a cup, a plate, a knife and then a serviette she looked so unwilling as though we were asking for a lot of her. We were all confused why she didn’t just set a whole extra place with all the bits in one go, it was obvious when there are only 5 places set and 6 guests someone would need a plate and cups and cutlery. She didn’t smile and looked quite snotty, so I don’t think it was that she was just having a bad day it looked like her demeanour. Shame though as had we just had a relatively pleasant waitress nothing special or would have been just a lovely afternoon.
We enjoyed ourselves in the Cloud bar, service was excellent. We had the festive afternoon tea which was a gift for our Anniversary. We loved listening to the pianist.
An very enjoyable afternoon... Thank you!
Our visit was a very pleasant way to start our evening. Even though we were there quite early the atmosphere was good and the bar was busy, but not too busy. My only complaint was that we had to wait about 20 minutes, after our booked time, before our table was free. John
Our booking was for 4pm and we were kept waiting downstairs at the lift for 15mins. In spite of there being enough staff our order took ages and it was difficult to attract attention of staff. We have been several times at this time of year and this is the first time it has been disappointing. For the first 2 years we had a brilliant waiter Dean who really made you feel welcome. Not the same atmosphere this year.
Very disappointed to have to wait 15/20 mins when I booked a table for a birthday at 11pm and then when I got to the table waited another 10 mins to be served very disappointed.
Service was outstanding
Excellent friendly staff, amazing views, beautiful cocktails, 100% recommend especially for a birthday or event, has the wow factor for sure.
Booking had been made for incorrect time on their side, however staff arranged a table and service from then on was great.
