We had an excellent stay in this hotel. The most outstanding thing was the staff. The serving staff at dinner were very pleasant and efficient but the staff at reception and at breakfast the next morning were really wonderful. We were a party of 9 and we all commented on how nice they were. For that reason I would recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again. Many thanks

restaurant needs to be sound proofed from reception and family gatherings with children need to be dined seperatelyfrom couples just wanting to enjoy a quiet intimate dinner and or breakast.

Rooms too hot, no air and the service was ok at best
5 star rating not enough food was amazing in a large group and nobody complained about it.. Staff couldn't do enough to make sure everything was perfect and they were really friendly and good with kids and everyone. Very laid back and relaxing atmosphere will definitely be returning.
Everything was fine considering the times we are in.
Dinner was satisfactory, we made the reservation because we had been travelling and just wanted to eat at the hotel. As expected the dinners were pricey for what you get. I suspect it is the convenience of dining at the hotel that inflated the prices. The staff were excellent.

Food is fine but could be better. No bar because of COVID 19 restrictions. Comfy room but could be cleaner, spider webs on the window, hair in the bath.
Enjoyed our visit Points to take note Waitressing staff forgot our order on at an evening meal . At breakfast , didn’t give us toast Every morning , didn’t leave enough milk for children’s breakfast Bedroom too hot . Had 2 ask for a fan
I would be careful how you serve food and drinks in the hotel especially during the covid time. Staff were handling the rim of our drinks while delivering them to or table. Crockery on the tables, specifically saucers and side plates were dirty every morning but I dont drink tea or coffee so I didnt complain during the service. There were only 2 breakfast options really a full irish and vegan breakfast. Other option was scramble egg and bacon which could have been chosen from the full or the chefs daily breakfast which was never available when we asked. Other than that food was okay. Service was great especially at reception
Absolutely shocking, seriously under staffed Alot of very unhappy guests in the restaurant last night. The 2 staff that were on were brilliant,. Definitely wont be back, the hotel should not take bookings if they cannot look after ther guests..😡😡
Seriously under staffed, felt so sorry for the staff who absolutely brilliant , it will only be a matter of time before ther will be a serious accident or worse . Sat at our table at 7 PM first drink served at 7.45 with our starters , main meal served at 8.35 which left only 10 mins to eat our main meal and order dessert. Disgraceful.
The Silver Springs was understaffed on the night of July 4th. We sat down for dinner at 6:45 and finally received dessert at 9:15. We were a party of 4, including 2 children. The staff were run off their feet. We waited for a drink for an hour The staff did more than their best, but it would have been impossible to be the attentive waiter to every table. The food was also sufficient Breakfast the next morning was a little better. Staff were not seen to be sanitizing their hands between tables and also held glasses by rims while serving to a number of tables at once. Clayton your staff and customers deserve better.
This booking didn’t go through. Nobody knew about us and what I requested ie high chair was not available. Traveling with three young children can be very stressful so as you can imagine it was very disappointing. However in fairness the staff couldn’t accommodate us better and did their very best to ensure we were looked after. I suggest you check your online booking system works.
Super service, meals ready and waiting and served promptly based on phoned in order for 10 people Thanks to all the super staff.

The food was grand but the menu was more like bar food than restaurant food. The server was lovely and doing her best but was understaffed. We ordered coffee and a final glass of wine which we eventually cancelled she apologised for not being able to get to the bar.
Food was good but service was poor. Waiting ages for menus we actually had to go pick it up ourselves. Bit of a wait again for ordering but good came in good time. Plates were left in front of us for a good while and we had to ask for dessert menus which never arrived. So we ended up paying and leaving as the service was so poor. Pity as the food was nice!
